  Can you clarify why you need recover the password? Application identities are designed for internal processing and never to be exposed outdoors or used for other purposes only lift access to the code in some scenarios within the system. So only the administrator must have access to the account and the password of access they would reset it in the store of credentials if necessary.   Except if you have really tightened down on the security of your router, adding another computer should be a simple to plug it.  In any case, most routers can be reset by default (including the password) by pressing the button of reset for about 10 seconds.  As you do not have the brand or the model of router in your post, all I can recommend is for more specific information, you should go to your router manufacturer's website and download the manual for your make and model of router and follow the instructions.
