  • PC warns me that iCloud storage is almost full every few minutes

Hi all, I have a Dell Inspiron 10 Windows I use now because my Mac came out for running repairs. I installed iCloud on it, and now I get a notification in my system tray about every 5 minutes telling me that my iCloud storage is almost full. It's really annoying - the notification makes a hanging sound and forces me to close them myself. I can't find any way to stop these notifications without having to buy more storage, I don't want to do. Is there another way to stop? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled iCloud. Thank you.

You can disable notifications for iCloud:

Menu - settings - system - Notifications & Actions - start and then scroll down to "See the notifications of these apps,"

Click on iCloud and you will have options to completely turn off the notifications, disable 'See the notification banners' or turn off the notification sound

You can turn off notifications here:

    • In the search box in Windows 10 type settings and select 'Windows App Store trust settings'
    • Click on "system".
    • Click on 'Notifications & Actions '.
    • Scroll down to 'Show Notifications of these apps'

  • Storage is almost full - other space

I am a user of iPhone 5 s (ios 9.1). It has been over a year that I'm dealing with a serious problem of storage. Although space is available on my 16 GB phone, my phone always says I have 0 bytes left and 11.7 GB used. When I hook it up to iTunes, 'Other' space is always close to 3 GB. No matter how many photos or apps I'll delete the space never change. I activated iCloud backup too, but nothing changes. So the iphone has been removed all apps passwords and passwords for wifi and safari bookmarks. Furthermore, I can't properly use any application on the device.

Since most of the problably it is due to a damaged on my device file. Can you please offer no possible solution in order to find the file that is causing the problem and delete it. Any other suggestions would be more than helpful.

    Thank you

    Christos

The gesture is to restore from a backup, encrypted iTunes. Try this, but if you have corrupted files on the iPhone, they are likely to be part of the backup and that she will be resettled.

More complicated, time consuming, but full-proof is to reset the iPhone as new and then just sync it with your computer and/or iCloud files.

  • Storage, almost Full message that constantly appear on my iPhone 6

I have 64 GB Iphone 6, & what I have given incoming East of Whatspp. Now, I disable the automatic download settings in whatsapp on '' never. '' I had limited space and ever day I received message as

Storage, almost Full message that constantly appear on my iPhone 6

So I started to clean my whatsapp, it helped me to recover 1 GB space. I tried to return icloud and kept my iphone next, after an hour I got message iclould backup failed, and my storage become 0 MB to 1 gb. Now I don't know who ate this space in the iphone.

    Need for expertise in this.

It's two different things here, so I don't know where is your problem. It's this message about the storage on the iPhone, or there is something on your iCloud storage space, since you mention a backup not too?

I HAVE 64 GB OF STORAGE IN MY PHONE BUT MY PHONE ME SHOWS YOUR STORAGE SPACE IS ALMOST FULL AND I DO STORAGE IN MY PHONE ONLY 4 GB, PLEASE WHAT SHOULD I DO

Take a look at this thread and follow the steps in troubleshooting offered it. The question may be somehow connected with WhatsApp, then try to delete the app.

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article:use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

  • My Macbook 2014 pro is almost full. How to free storage space. Most is in the 'other' category in the view of storage.

My Macbook 2014 pro is almost full. How to free storage space? Most is in the 'other' category in the view of storage. Also, if I delete movies bought from iTunes, I'll be able to download them later for free?

Bottom line: you need to delete/move files on the internal drive. For important files, you will want to copy them to an external drive.

  • HP PavilionTouchsmart 11 Noteb: storage capacity of recovery disk is almost full

My question is: how to make more Revovery disk space?  It is almost full. Drive C is very well...

I have a HP Pavilion Touchsmart 11 Notebook PC

    Thank you

    Hello:

It is normal that the partition recovery disk is almost full, and you should never store other files on it.

The partion made just large enough to hold recovery files.

If you have stored files on the recovery partition, I recommend that move you elsewhere.

  • iPhone SE sync - memory almost full

When I sync my SE I see that my phone memory is almost full. Most of the memory is used by Documents and data. What is this and how can I reduce it?

"Documents & data" so often in large part album art associated with music on your iPhone.

Another way to measure the use of storage of your iPhone is on the iPhone: settings > general > storage & use iCloud > manage storage (in storage).  Remove some of the elements of y.

  • MacBook Pro says hard disk is almost full, startup disk is full. What should I do to make room?

My Macbook Pro says that my disk space is low. Another notice came that my Start Up disk was almost full. I don't know if they are the same thing, but I want to know how to make room. Also, how can I get rid of the useless things I let build up because I didn't know any better. Thank you.

Hi Taylorlaura, if you can use your Mac then move your own files of data on another drive, until you do about 50 GB of space.

OS x: what is 'other' space about this Mac? -Apple Support

Then download and run Omni DiskSweeper. It can show you the exact size and location of all your files. It will be the inventory of your disc from files that occupy more space. It can also give you a fairer read disk space than the Finder or storage tab of the about this Mac. If you want you can even delete files from OmniDisk Sweeper. But beware, some items may be important for your system.

  • I get a message saying startup disk is almost full and to delete files. How can I go about it?

I have a macbook air and a message comes up saying that my boot drive is almost full and delete files to make more space. What files and where? Thank you.

Buy an external hard drive if you do not already have one and migrate personal files, things like documents, music, photos, videos, stuff like that.  Once they are on the external hard drive, delete them from your computer.  You would remove them the same way you would remove any other thing - click it, right-click, select "Move to trash."  Delete nothing however, until you have moved to an external drive.  If you don't save a copy somewhere, once you remove them, it's over and you can't get it back.

To understand what that other things that can be deleted are go up --> about this Mac--> storage.  This will tell you how many you have on your hard drive right now.  Post here a screenshot of it.
