No, it isn't. The app store is what it is.

See you soon.

  • Size of storage of the blackBerry Smartphone applications

    Hello!

I have a BB Curve 9300. I upgraded the memory card of the same from 2 GB to 16 GB but the size of the application of storage is the same as 250 MB. The system software and applications are installed on this storage applications.

How to increase the size of storage of applications or How to change the destination of the installation of applications to media card storage applications?

    Hey chetanapte,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

The storage of memory or the application of the internal device cannot be increased, the media card is for multimedia files such as pictures, videos, etc. Applications can not be installed on the press card.

  • Problem of the blackBerry Smartphones switching Applications

Hi all.  I am new to BB in general... but I can say that I wonder why it took me so long to convert!

Here's my problem... When you press and hold the menu button, it gives you the opportunity to switch applications (home page, Messenger, phone, messages, application Center, browser, etc.).  Well all links put me to the proper place, except the center application.  When I select it, nothing happens.  The "application switching" screen disappears and I go to fullscreen I was looking at previously.  I just want that he take me to the center of the Application when selecting it.  Please help and thanks in advance!

Note: I tried already to take out the battery and it does not solve the problem.

OK, I got the problem!  It is not at all a difficult solution, and apparently, many users have this same problem

Go to the center of the Application, press the Menu key and uncheck the box/deselect 'Auto Refresh List'.  Second, you must remove the battery while the phone is still on and keep it removed for 30 seconds.  Turn back on him and Viola... it will be deleted.  Make sure that the list of auto-refresh is always disabled in the Application Center.

I guess that the reason why it didn't disappear is in the first place because of the automatic refresh running in background.  But when the setting is deselected, just restart the phone will not remove it.  The battery had to be removed for the phone to restart completely.

  • Response of the blackBerry Smartphones can not email!

Suddenly, since I've updated my BB 8520, I find I can send and receive email - but do not answer them!  Any ideas as to why?

Hello and welcome to the community!

After updates or then get email of wobbly, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • For the blackBerry Smartphones Reset network settings

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to reset the network settings on a Blackberry Curve 8520, I can find on how to do a complete reset but not a network reset. Your would be much appreciated.

    Thank you very much

N.. completely different. For your mobile network, with a strong network carrier (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    3) restart

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

For the wireless, there is no sort directly 'reset' nothing beyond removing and reconfiguring of the WiFi network configurations. Beyond that, things as device WIPE, reloading the OS, and other very drastic measures would be required. And, important to note, I have no way of knowing if this is really necessary... you did not no matter what description of what happens, so it is not possible to understand your situation and you give more targeted recommendations.

    Good luck!

What developer support options are available for the development of Java for the BlackBerry Smartphone?

    What plans are available?

Who can I contact with to register a support plan?

One of the evangelists 'Developer' RIM working outside South Africa, I think, so there should be someone local you can talk too.  If you message Mark Sohm (the RIM name you will see a lot on the forum - MSohm), with your e-mail address and it ask to put you in contact with the Developer Evangelist in SA, which should help.  You can tell Mark to ask me if he needs clarification.  Do not promise anything either but I hope that something will happen.

I already have the Simulator works and correctly installed the Playbook SDK (link to version 2.5 SDK and Flash Builder). I have no error in compilation (QNX namespaces are used), I think that the installation has been correctly executed.

Keep Messages on SIM - check no.

There is no on the torch, which is a disappointment.

  • Don't launch the blackBerry Smartphones Applications

I just downloaded a theme OTA and it seems that it is the cause of my "BOLD" for not being able to run almost all of my applications.

I tried to go to 'Options' to delete the theme, but I can't open it same.

    Hello josephineloretta

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums

First perform a battery pull reboot as this device on remove the battery for a min. then reinsert it wit back up what your device restarts. Then give it a try and see if it allows you to uninstall this application.

If that does not start then your device on Safe Mode, while safe mode remove the theme of your device. Options of > device > application > remove it of there.after conducting another battery pull reboot.

  • Deploy an icon on the BlackBerry smartphone to a web application or URL

    Hello

I want to deploy an icon on the BlackBerry for a web application is home.  When the user click on this icon, I automatically want to launch my web app (URL).

    I found this article:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800708/800655/How_To _...

And I read about 'push channel browser', which seems to do exactly what I want to do:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/7979/1181821/832210/Developi...

I did a test with my Blackberry that is connected to a BES, and it works very well using the code example.

My question is this, 'channel browser push' can be used for Blackberry that is not configured in our BES.

For example, I want to be able to deploy an icon on the Blackberry from customers and suppliers we have, but these Blackberries are not related at all our BES or network.

Is it possible to do this?  If so, should I do something special to make it work?

If not, does that mean my only solution is to create a Java application that automatically launch the browser Blackberry (second option from the first link)?

    Thanks for your help!

Channel browser push you make reference to requires the user is on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

The alternatives to this is a Java application (as you have discovered), BlackBerry Widget or Signal of Web.  Web signals is the equivalent to a BlackBerry Internet Server Browser channel thrust.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones KB24874 ' completed Application: MPTT refused approval for communication cross-application. "is displayed on the BlackBerry smartphone

1st, I started having issues, try to connect to my voicemail with T - Mob. I called them, they had to re - setup my voicemail and (update of the settings for my Blackberry to connect properly saying this would happen over a period of 4 hours). They got my answering machine until tonight here. Later this week I get a notification there are applications that have are updates available, so I go to the app world. Things a then from bad to worse - apps I tried to update, new to download and try checking 'My World', I started having the (40760 out of line device) and another code error telling me to connect? >

Do a battery pull and when the phone back up I get error message "completed Application: MPTT was denied permission to cross-application communication.'"

My phone is an unlocked Tour 9630 from Verizon, and I have a monthly plan with TMobile, including the data packet.

Lookiong after this error code (KB24874) it leads me to believe that there is some kind of conflict with the "push to talk" Service Verizon which is not supported by T-Mobile. This problem started when I called T-Mobile to the difficulty of voicemail and they have really no incentive to help me because I have an unlocked phone that they do not initially sell for me...

It is a basic app and I can't remove it... Can I disable or restrict its permissions to stop this conflict? Is there anything I can do wireless or a parameter to change since I don't have a computer at home - only at work?

And he says I have to contact Blackberry technical support for help on this... Try to find a way to contact the Blackberry Support basically sent you here on the forums...

Oh wise and powerful Blackberry Guru and Experts here - can someone help me?

YAY! I fixed it! I got tothinking on these permissions and I went back to them and reset them to "refuse" to "default" (who put them to 'allow') and attempted to access app world and it worked - everything worked!

MPTT is the name of the libraries in the application 'push to talk' and I guess it still needs to set to 'allow' in same permissions if the app is not supported by TMobile.

Thanks for the forums. Even if no one responded, have a place as it has helped me to analyze my own of all the posts that I have sought.

Hope this helps someone if they have the same problems a day

  • Applications of the blackBerry Smartphones home screen

I lost my messages, e-mail messages, applications of volume control on my homescreen. I pressed menu and they are gone as well.

How can I get them back, and how can I make sure that I can not lose them again?

In the menu, I also lost my icon to respond to text messages

    Someone please help?

On your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL and make these icons have been hidden, or accidentally moved to a folder. Check them all.

If still nothing, go to options > advanced > Houst Routing Table > Menu > register.

With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    A little luck?
