storage space loser iPhones

Hello-

I'm in the IT Dept of my company.  We have several iphones everywhere in the company.  I have two specific users who have phones 16 GB.  It seems that since these two users have done the 9.3 update iOS, they lost all their storage space.  I was able to fix that backup to iCloud, reset the phone and restore.  The two returned to the neighborhood of 9 GB of available.  They both were doing the upgrade to 9.3.1 and it's the same thing.  From one day to the next, all the free space seems to have disappeared.  They gave me the phone and I did once more the thing backup and restore to recover their space (just did last week).  I just heard them today and they both lose the space quickly.  It disappeared completely and the other fell to 2 GB.  Nor said that they added something important for phones.  Looking at the space used in the storage to manage, add the number simply to zero.

Nor has loaded the App Whatsapp.  Any thoughts on what could happen?  Both are models of the iPhone 6.

Thank you-

They use the flow of photos from iCloud, feature photo library or music Apple?

If so, try disabling these features and see if the free space is always getting lost.

  • Storage space lose N500

    Hello

I had my N500 (4233 - 74G) for almost 3 weeks now and I noticed a few days ago, it is that I was lost nearly 90 GB of space on my hard drive. Until now, I've lost almost 120 GB, of which 12 have disappeared yesterday and 2 in the last 30 minutes.

I found a previous post highlighting this problem, I went by what has been said by turning the regular back ups turned off and also the AutoSave is disabled. One thing I can't see is however any return previous ups made, so I'm stuck to the fact that it is that is causing the problem.

I also run my antivirus and checked for spyware, who came with nothing.

If anyone has an idea as to what this may be, any advice would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

I already checked the mid on "parameters" storage management I already emptied the space needed (compensation music... drain whatsapp for all the * I get in my groups and conversations... removal of photos and videos and then delete them again "delete photos"... removing applications without any regret whatsoever... etc.), erase most of the space, but without good effect on the problem, because do not know why , but the iphone still will signal that the storage is complete after a day no matter what my needs; I have also restarted and restore it to factory settings, and its default settings so that I can restore my backup.

  • problem with storage space - iPhone 4 - 32 GB

Hello, I have an iphone 4 32 gb. I'm having a problem with storage space. A few days ago, that even though I was taking 5 GB of empty space, a notification appeared that storage is almost full. I deleted about 2 GB of photos and videos. He showed me 2 GB of free space, but after 1 hour again the same notification appeared. As soon as I have emptied my space with about 1 to 2 GB by deleting photos or videos, it is completed with other data.

How should I solve this problem?

    Thank you.

What is the exact wording of the message? Could he be referring to iCloud storage?

Also have you withdrawn your recently delete pictures and videos? Deleted ones is 'saved' for 30 days or more unless you intentionally delete/remove

Why my iOS device I have more pictures that I can find?

  • I can I permantley remove apps from my iphone 6 they now taking up storage space

How to permantley remove apps for the disabled, those who take the storage space

As there is no way to disable the applications on an iPhone, I'm not quite clear what is your problem.

To remove an application, press in and hold the icon until it starts to squirm. Then, press 'x '. You will be asked if you want to remove the right app. The icon will disappear. The app has been removed and is no longer taking place on your phone.

If you're referring to the list of purchased apps, you can see it in the App Store, no, you can't delete the record of your purchase. However, nothing on this list takes place on your phone if it is not on your phone.

  • Additional storage space

Hey you all I really need your help so that's

    I have a MBP early 2011 with a 500 GB I have now only 68.5 GB left

    1. what I want to do is pretty much everything to an external HD and be able to recover anything at any time with or without connection (wifi, bluetooth etc.)

for example, I'm working on my MBP and need to work on graphics so I go to the large external HD, software works on it and then save it but without saving it on my MBP

can I do this? If so, how? What do I need?

    2. can I just back up all my files and all the stuff on the external hard drive without them being on my MBP?

I already have a lot of CDs and DVDs, putting a lot of my files about 50 + and I still have a lot more

    3. I have a time capsule 2 t with only 168 GB left how can I remove backups, but not the first 5?

    4. If I delete iBooks on my MBP they will remove my iPad and iPhone?

    Help, please! I really need

I'm a bit confused about the "without a connection" - you need to connect your mac to your external storage space, period. Usually by USB.

    1. purchase a USB hard drive - get a big one - 2,3,4 TB

    2. connect.

3 format correctly for Apple. Install any driver.  Disk for this utility.

    4. move any files you want here. You can put aliases - are these folders folder in your document (or music) If you wish. Seek and learn about aliases.

    Enjoy.

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

  • Update to iOS 9.2.1 creating storage on the iPhone problems 6

I upgraded my iPhone 6 iOS 9.2.1 a few days ago. «Since then, a message of "storage" almost full keeps popping up on my screen all the minutes and whatsapp becomes unusable ("your iPhone is running low on storage.» So Whatsapp can continue to work correctly, up to 100 MB of space free by: 1 removing applications longer you use, 2 large delete videos from your camera roll, 3 manage your storage in the middle space > general > use > Storage manage). I did all the three things mentioned above. However, no matter how many applications or videos I remove, storage space remains the same: use - GB 11.6, available - 0 bytes. I can't possibly delete data on my phone without losing the essential information.

I backed up even my phone to my Macbook Eve, reset to the factory settings and then restored my old version back up on iTunes. The problem seems to have been resolved, and there were 4-5 GB of free space on my phone. The phone worked fine all day yesterday, but today the message 'almost complete storage' keeps popping up again and my applications have become unusable again. When I connect my phone to iTunes, it informs me that an upgrade to iOS 9.2.1 is available and asks me if I want to download the update. However, when I go into the settings and the "Software Update" from my phone, it says "iOS 9.2.1. Your software is up-to-date. I don't want to delete applications or data on my phone, more particularly when I still 4-5 GB of free space. What should I do?

  • Data storage problems iOS iPhone 5s 9

    Hello world

I got this really annoying bug for awhile now (a few months, but it is omnipresent in the last 3 weeks) where my iPhone simply does not know the amount of storage it a. I have a 5 iPhone with 16 GB of space running on iOS 9. Keep saying it is short of space, but every time I release some (by deleting the photos, applications, etc.) it keeps charging right back upward. This moment I had released up to 200 MB, 20 minutes, it's back to 0 without me getting it. As a result, the entire contents of my iCloud is either eliminated or is not editable from my iPhone (Notes, calendars, etc.) and most of my apps crash, don't work or outright any bug (Messages always appear as send when they have actually been sent, Facebook and Messenger keep crashing my games does not work, I can't take pictures) etc.). I guess that's the reaction natural iPhone to be low on storage space, but thing is that I was not filling up... took photos in nearly a month, etc. So before I go and do a hard restore and backup (iCloud is not backup up more--> whenever I have it try it just says: backup could not be completed), I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what could happen and what can I do to solve this problem. Look for me for a while now, and if it it does not work, I'm switching to Android, with this simpler operating system. So if anyone has any ideas, feel free to share.

    Thank you!

    Tristan

There are several reasons, this could happen - backup corrupt, rogue app, bad USB cable for syncing to iTunes, etc.  If you sync with iTunes, watch space 'other '.  If it is greater than about 2 GB, you can have one of these problems.  The common solution is:

  • Feast your eyes on the hassles of storage space on IOS

So I have a very large collection of photographs, a couple hundred concerts a value and I thought that Adobe Revel would be the way to go to clean up quickly and easily with access on all my devices.

The problems is that the Adobe Revel app for my iPhone 4 (as well as all applications IOS Revel) insists on storing thumbnails of ALL my photos from my collection of 16,000 + photo. This means that more than 500 megabytes of space on my phone value is constantly dedicated to store photos that I rarely need. This may not seem a big deal to some, on a device with 14 GB of free space value, 500 MB is the equivalent of half of a film or a few pounds of medium length.

I appreciate the convenience of being able to scroll through everything quickly because it is already loaded. I understand that. But it's the 21st century and I think that we should have a few choices as to the amount of space this app takes over. I mean, my collection of photos is not exactly going to become all small is it?

I think we should be able to establish within Revel HOW MUCH storage the application will use to these thumbnails instead of having the decision EVERY being by default. In view of my own choice, I would set it at everything marked as a favorite and everything from the last 2 weeks. I think it's a thing just to ask for a big developer that Adobe can easily use it in their product.

Because right now the app is completely broken. Any attempt to open the application causes the message pop up "not enough local storage space: import was stopped because there is not enough storage available to Revel on this device." Please free up some space and try again. "Rejecting this message only allows him to appear again IMMEDIATELY. Can we at least fix the application so that I can still import to the cloud from my phone even when my phone cannot accept any thumbnails more?

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

If you are using a MAC, then you can check the State of the (s) library view and make sure that nothing is in the download queue. You can do so by looking at each library, click on the point to the left of the name. It will give you a status for this library. If you are sure that all additions are made, clear the caches for each library. You can have more than one library using the space.

On your iphone or ipad, switch to the view of the library for each library and look at the left icon of low clouds over the library icon. Beside that, you will see "updated" if she has completed synchronization.  You can click on the cloud for more information.

You can also confirm the images are uploaded by signing into the same account using another device or a browser to www.adoberevel.com. Try to download some original images. If more loads are completed, you should see the new images download and be able to view them.

If the files are synchronized and empty the cache doesn't help, I suggest that you remove the application, and then reload. Your photos will always be safe stored in the cloud. You will have some time to delay the first use you it because of the loading in the thumbnails. Please let me know if this reduces the amount of space used.
