Store Images in the database VS on the desktop

Hi, I'm using oracle developer 6i,

my main form contains about 50 images, no process are on these images, just to open another form.

is it better to store images in the database or on the desktop?

s ' Please tell me which is better "in general" and in my case.

Thank you very much

Storage in the database is more secure then file system.

But you are about to click on image.

This is why, in your case, file system is the best according to my experiences.

Hope this helps

  • Remove image from the desktop

I have a picture on my screen, I downloaded as my display pic for my icons. (wallpaper) I tried everything I know to try to remove it! The only thing I could do was just his size to cover not my whole screen. How can I remove this pic/file?

    2000 299WM Notebook PC

    Windows 7

    64 bit

OK, it seems that the image is corrupt, try this:

Put the following in the command run: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes

Then deleted the bad image, then everything should work after that.

Then you should get a picture like this:

Delete this file and then try to use another image as the background.

    Let me know the results.

Click with the right button on the desktop background and select Customize,

Click the downstairs desktop background link on the left

Another thing would be edited / Resized in a photo editing program at least the size in pixels of your monitor.

Right-click on your desktop, and then select the screen for your recommended resolution setting resolution / pixel dimensions.

Hi, I see if the old REGIS trick still works,

Try a safe boot, (now shift key at startup), run disk utility in Applications > utilities, then put your drive, click on repair permissions, restart when done.

(Secure boot can remain on the gray radian for a long time, let go, he tries to repair the hard drive & clear the caches)

Create a new folder to move ro or move them where you want before normal startup,

  • Image of the desktop - is huge and falls to the lower right

updated to the windows Explorer 8 and now my desktop image is huge and goes down to the lower right.  I set the resolution and centered under the down payment and nothing is fixing.  I even missed for standard windows desktop theme and you don't see it because it fell to the lower right so far.

System Restore should do the trick: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084

Thanks for the suggestion. the FILL method has failed, but the button ADJUST did work... so all is well.

  • File missing for the image of the office - so cannot delete!

    Hi all

I like the image of the desktop to select random pictures, but eventually he travels to present an image of an old Mac OS "crystal cave" - that seems very pixely and terrible, and he stayed stuck and will not go.

I have searched for it with a finder search, shows up no results, and I also watched in the real image of the desktop folder. It is not there anymore.

My uneducated theory, is that the image somehow was inherited from Mac since I had, possibly attached to my user. Although I just checked now and it is also available to the user profile on my wife. The reason why it is so pixely is probably because it does not refer to an image file - like what is happening in publishing computer programs when the link is cut between the elements of layout and image files.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

Look in your Finder > go > go to folder, copy and paste:

    / Library/Office photo

look through the images and delete the file low resolution which is to play with you.

    Turn it back on.

  • Tried to change the desktop image and lost all of them.

iPhoto was opened I was looking for an image specific, but also decided that it would be a good idea to multi-task with my iMac and tried to change the image of the desktop at the same time. Apparently, it wasn't the best idea. While seeking photos through system preferences, a pop-up asked if I wanted to pass something. I'll tell you... I didn't read entirely, but thought that he wanted to reopen iPhoto in System Preferences, since I had the app open on its own. I clicked 'OK', which seems to be the point of civilization to collapse, as it appears that I lost all the photos stored in my iPhoto library! What I did and how can I fix? Everyone?

Hold down the option key while launching iPhoto and using more select Library window select the correct iPhoto library

If somehow you deleted it (nothing you described in your question can result in the deletion of the iPhoto library) and then restore your backup iPhoto library until you have removed

  • Unable to get the preview of images that are cut and pasted from desktop folder to external hard drive.

Original title: I imported the photos of my card SD by cutting and pasting etil worked very well but when I did the same thing to the table and stuck in the external hard drive, I can't not open images as it is said no preview.

Only this particular file does not open and you please help u to get the photos can save that a link is missing and I don't know what.

    Hi Gregory Trinidade,

You can try to create a folder in the C: drive and copy the images on the desktop folder C: drive.  After copy in C: drive then try again copy on external hard drive and see if it works well or not.

Make sure that you have access to the C: drive. Also instead of cut photos copy in another location.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Save in folder on the desktop?

I have several updated files in place on my desk.  But when I go to save a file (for example, a picture of a Web site) to a folder on the desktop, I only get the option to save the image on the desktop, not in folders located on the desktop.  I use Chrome and Safari and browsers started to ask where to download, but I can not save to a folder I created on the desktop.  THX!

Open Safari Preferences > General.  Select OTHER in "Download file location" in the drop down in the drop-down menu, select the file where you want to download it.

    Ciao.
