  Try a safe boot, (now shift key at startup), run disk utility in Applications > utilities, then put your drive, click on repair permissions, restart when done.

  I like the image of the desktop to select random pictures, but eventually he travels to present an image of an old Mac OS "crystal cave" - that seems very pixely and terrible, and he stayed stuck and will not go.

  My uneducated theory, is that the image somehow was inherited from Mac since I had, possibly attached to my user. The reason why it is so pixely is probably because it does not refer to an image file - like what is happening in publishing computer programs when the link is cut between the elements of layout and image files.

  Look in your Finder > go > go to folder, copy and paste:

  / Library/Office photo

  look through the images and delete the file low resolution which is to play with you.

  Turn it back on.

  You can try to create a folder in the C: drive and copy the images on the desktop folder C: drive.  After copy in C: drive then try again copy on external hard drive and see if it works well or not.

  Make sure that you have access to the C: drive. Also instead of cut photos copy in another location.

  Open Safari Preferences > General.  Select OTHER in "Download file location" in the drop down in the drop-down menu, select the file where you want to download it.
