stotpping eprint on HP Officejet 6500 E710-z windows 7 64 bit

Every day my printer print HIGHLIGHTS msnbc.com.  How can I stop this?  I don't remember even set up eprint what whatsoever.

OlGrayMare,

Follow these steps in the order presented to cancel and delete a scheduled delivery printing application.

Important : you must cancel the application of expected delivery in ePrintCenter Print before removing the application. If you do not cancel the App first, scheduled tasks continue to print, even if the application is removed.

  • ePrint cannot see officejet 6500

I used to be able to print using the app, but since the 'upgrade' it does not work!

I have an officejet 6500 wireless and I can't find "Web services" in the menu setup. The printer is too 'old '?

I need more information to help. The ePrint home & Biz application are you referring? What device do you use the app on? What model router do you have? In general, I would check the following settings to make sure everything it set up properly.
    1. make sure that the printer and the camera are on the same network. Go into the settings of the device and make sure that there is a check box
by your network, it must be the same as the printer is configured on.
    2. make sure that apply to join other networks is enabled. And that the WiFi is turned on and that Bluetooth is turned off the coast.
Here are some more general steps too
    3. If still not picking up, power cycle both the printer and the camera at the same time because the synchronization to the top could be the issue. Make sure that both
devices are powered off the coast and not only in mode 'sleep'. After that that they have been turned off for at least 30 seconds, power their return on let the printer
complete the boot process and try again to print.
    4. then, if having a problem power cycle, the device, the router and the printer. Unplug the router first, then the printer and the device must
turned off. Then after 30 seconds, re - turn on router. Make sure it is fully up and running. Router once upwards, turn printer and
device back on, wait for printer to the full boot, make sure wireless is on and try to use the app again.

  • HP Officejet 6500 E710: How to create desktop icon to launch the Scanner dialog box?

I would like to create a desktop icon to launch the Scanner dialog box. I'm not a fan of the approach to Tile Windows.

Under Windows, 8.1, there was a desktop icon which allow me to connect to my Officejet 6500 unit and allow the scan to computer option. Who disappeared with the upgrade of Windows 10.

I ran the print and Scan doctor and it solved the problems. When I went to test scanning, it arises from the familiar dialog box where I could choose different settings.

It worked perfectly. But after having closed the doctor, I could not find any place to launch the new dialogue box, outside the doctor.

I downloaded and installed the scanning HP and Capture app. It works very well, but I rather not leaving office to launch it, or use it enough to justify the taskbar setting.

Is it possible to create a desktop icon for the application of scanning and Capture

    or

is there a way to create an icon to launch the dialog box scan that print and Scan Doctor uses?

    I prefer this one.

    Hello

Thank you for using the HP Forums.

Is there a way to create the shortcut to scan on your desktop. Try the following steps:

    1. open a file Explorer

    2 C: > Program Files (x 86)

    3 program Files (x 86) > HP

    4 HP > HP Officejet 6500

    5 HP Officejet 6500 > Bin

    6 bin > Scanner HP

    7. right click on the analysis of HP and "create shortcut".

You'll get a prompt that "Windows cannot create a shortcut here.  Do you want the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead?    Select "Yes".

    Hope that helps!

  • "User intervention required" network OfficeJet 6500 E709a on Windows 8 print

I have an OfficeJet 6500 all-in-in-one E709a connected to my router wireless via an ethernet cable. 2 computers (Win XP and Windows 8 64 bit) connected wireless to this network. The Win XP computer can print without problem, but the Win 8 computer print jobs in queue and says "User interaction" required

    A few notes:

    * It seems that Windows already installed drivers for this printer. It is available in the window "Devices and printers", having the status of "user Intervention."

    * I don't want to install the complete software if I can avoid it

    * I checked that the printer is NOT in offline mode / pause

    * I tried stop the spooler service, delete the temporary files, and then restarting the spooler, as suggested, on a MS windows forum

    * Windows 8 is a new computer; It has never worked before

    * I tried to restart the printer, but that did not help. Windows detects when it it turned off and rebooted, but when it is restarted it goes straight to mode "user Intervention."

    * The software HP to select the "good" pilot says that it cannot find the drivers for my printer

    * HP does not seem to offer a download drivers only for my combination printer/Win 8

    Help, please.

    Thank you

Skinny, looks to have a configuration issue with the printer. What we will do is to uninstall the printer completely and reinstall following in my footsteps. This will give use a shift even to work from.

First of all, if you use a USB cable, be sure to remove it (it's important). Do not plug it in again until the software instructs you. Through devices and printers, programs and features and issues Device Manager and make sure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. As indicated, and then restart the computer.

  • OfficeJet 6500 E709n: Officejet 6500 E709n - 10 Windows - printer automatically a 'break '.

I had my Officejet 6500 E709n for about 4 + years and use it wireless network with my network router. I upgraded my laptop (Toshiba Satellite) (as of December 2014) 8.1 to win to win 10 this week. The upgrade itself went smooth but I had to update the driver from the HP website. Now, I noticed that when I take my Windows logon, I see a pop-up that my HP printer is paused. I noticed it first last night and again this morning. What gives? I thought about posting this here, first to check if anyone else has noticed this.

Thanks Waterboy71! Strangely, when I rebooted after posting my question, I don't see the message "Paused". Very strange.
