Strange artifacts QGLWidget production

I've updated the Dev Alpha the latest version (10.0.9.1675) and my QGLWidget now shows strange artifacts like my 3D model is turned (see attached photos - first image is the model as planned, the second contains artifacts). Any suggestions as to whether this is a bug or something I'm doing wrong please? I have this update on the Playbook and it works as expected, so I guess it's a bug and I have to report it.

Resolved - it was because of a font is not initiailised properly but always used to render the text to the screen.

This problem began to occur with OS X 10.9 and is the most widespread in OS X 10.10 and later versions. The problem does not exist in OS X 10.8 or 10.8.5. It seems to be an incompatibility between OSX and NVIDIA CUDA drivers. It is more common in first Pro CC or later is running and using GPU effects in real time. The problem occurs more frequently when other applications that use the GPU are open simultaneously.

NVIDIA is working on a fix for some time, without any recent comments on the situation.

Mainly, this frustrating problem can be circumvented by opting for project settings > Mercury Playback Engine (OpenCL) GPU acceleration.

  • Strange artifacts on the PDF output (when the line is near a box)

    Hi all

I hope someone can suggest a solution for this problem of purplexing.

I have a rectangle (actually occurs similar rectangle image or text boxes) which connects to a line (Japanese points). Whenever the line is close to the rectangle, there is a slight but noticeable white line that surround the rectangle.

When I start the editing mode in Adobe Acrobat format, he reveals that the PDF version of exit/distilled introduced this artifact by separating the part of the image in a "piece." The artifact (white line) is the border around this piece of image!

Also, it is important to add that, if I move the line away from the rectangle, the low white line disappears.

    Please see the attachment.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Export with transparency Dynamics (PDF/X-4) or if you have to distill make sure printing > advanced > flattening of transparencies is set to high resolution.

    Hi all

is - that someone else has had this problem since the last update version 2015.5.0 Photoshop?

I find strange artifacts when using select and mask and the new brush refine edge that would not happen in the old refine edge.

The Alpha channel looks good but the image shows of strange artifacts and blurry tasks and resembling traces of brush end hard.

I took the time to correct my mask in order to remove any traces of brush hard edge, but they seams to still be there. I find it very frustrating.

Hmmm... think I just found the answer to my question. I got the color box to decontaminate tiquetee.

I have hidden without this box and the blur and artifacts disappeared. My recommendation for anyone making high range of editing and masking is to leave this box unchecked.

    Hey everybody.

I'm typing this one and am relatively happy with the key (taking into account the type of facility, we got in the basement) except for one thing. It is hard to notice in a still image, but in the middle of my forehead (the slightly darker areas) and occasionally, running down my neck, I get this kind of thing strange artifact and noise going on which sparkles around the chassis to the framework and makes it look like I did a terrible job. My guess is that maybe there is a hint of green on my forehead that is throw away the key, but it is not extreme, so im not quite sure what is happening. Here is a SS of the uncorrected frame. I know that's not the best but it has been implemented in a hurry. The results I got were good, except for that weird spot on my forehead and neck. I hope I explained the correct symptoms. If this isn't the case, please let me know.

  • Editing native AVCHD - making artifacts

    Hello world

I currently edit a project with native AVCHD files (.) (MTS), 1920 x 1080, 50i. I chose the predefined sequence that corresponds to these attributes.
However, when I play the files in the bin or the sequence, there are strange "artifacts" that appear during playback. The render bar is yellow on the sequence. Raw files are fine. If I make a few sequences that artifacts disappear.

My question is - it is necessary that I make all my raw images and not edited in sequence to edit artifacts for free? Why do they appear in first, but not on the raw open in VLC files? The quality made maximum checkbox is not checked in the General preferences.

Surely I don't have to waste my time at 417 GB of rendering images just if I can get a clean and smooth image? A reading frame that I may have missed?

    Best regards,

Strange banding on 16-bit pngs during playback of the RAM. They are fine when you scroll the calendar, the strange artifacts appear only during playback (of the total).

  • The trial is over - the Jury is

I had discussions with Durin and Spot on last month about the problems that I had with 5.5. My trial just ended and I hesitate about buying the upgrade to 1.5. It's a big leap... and an act of faith. In the last 30 days, I worked with 5.5 creating ads and a radio show, but always had to go back to 1.5.  I MADE A LIST.  I'd be curious to know how many others have had these problems. Remember, I do not use it to record music. I use hearing exclusively for radio and some production audio for video.

Maybe some of these problems have easy solutions but I could not find them and brings me to the first problem. I find that 'HELP' is not a lot of help.

Problems or questions are not necessarily listed in order of importance, but chronologial.

    * EFX are connected to music. Nothing for us radio people

    * EFX many presets are not real realistic. (AM radio, for example.)  I go way back, but I never remembered to AM Radio THAT sounds wrong!

    * Grouping of files. (I know that everyone wants) I must have.

    * No games on the command line. (Yes, I know, do a right-click and PLAY with WMA.) When you do a lot of this, it's a lot of time.

    * Multi-Track slider. Can't just click anywhere to go. You need to do extra mouse moves. (all this is focused too much on the mouse)

    * What happened to temporal Compression in multitrack?

    * Time Compression isn't 5.5 is less accurate with more strange artifacts. I expected to be improved.

    * What happened to Jog to let use ALT-left and right Jog ALT right arrow?

    * Department in the "if it ain't broke..." Use of RECORDING CTRL-space. Now it's SHIFT-Space Bar, why change?

In the ta, arrow top now cut a left channel and vice versa. How can I get rid of this?

    * What happened to Clip duplicate?

Do a manual Fade In or Fade out is now made... HOW?  I don't want the hearing to do it for me.

    * What happened to insert Silence? (My trial is over so I can't check that)

By using the screen on "gizmo volume", I had whole sections to go silent for some reason any.

There is a 'voice Enhancer". It seems a bit exaggerated, but I don't see a way to look inside to see what he is doing. Is there a way? Vocal Enhancer seems to be a pre-production for someone with a bad microphone, the equipment under normal and poor voice patterns. How did Adobe come up with that?

Durin, said that, in the development, they spoke to radio stations? WHO in the stations? People who USE hearing or engineer? NEVER talk to the engineers of the radio station. They do not USE. I've lived it. Materials developers speak to the eingineers because they are the ones who choose the material, but never actually use it.

The trial ended, and figuratively, spoeaking, my jury is out. I haven't decided if I want to buy this version. I might HAVE to buy now that I've created sesx files I might need in the future. Somehow, it seems unfair that we buy this version and then when Adobe has replaced some missing options and fixed problems that we're paying for. If he were a car, it would be a reminder.

    Chip-Alex says:

SteveG, I find your response as arrogant, who seems to be saying "you're a little guy, so you're irrelevant" and the assertion that I could find another sector of activity. I did this for 35 years so don't tell me simply because you choose to dismiss my concerns that I should give up!

I suggest that you try to read again, without prejudice to the extreme this time. Because nowhere in what I wrote everything you MENTION could be interpreted by any reasonable person.

I'm not dismissing your concerns - just pointing out that we have heard all before - several times. Your concerns are the same as everyone. I mean, it's you who can make out to be dismissive, if you want, but it's just stating a simple fact, not more. As for suggesting that you find another sector of activity -, is that a fantasy of yours - I never mentioned that at all.

And regarding "your position of I-don't-give-a-damn relative to a group is another typical posture of"let them eat cake"Adobe." Is is frustrating or even maddening "-well I never said a word of this at all." You are just making up as you go along. I said that it has never included in this version - not that I don't like, or couldn't give a stuff about it. Quite the opposite, in fact - I can't use this release for many current job due to the absence of grouping either, frankly.

  • Vertical color bars on the left side of the window?

    Arch Linux, 64-bit

    Radeon HD 7750 w / Mesa 10.6.4

    GNOME 3.16.2

Firefox 40.0.2 (problem does not occur on FF 39.0.3)

Any Firefox window has an early color portrait region (20-or-so pixels wide) just under the title bar of the system and extending to the bottom of the window of FF. The region begins as a color (1) single, but then, as the viewport changes (2) that this region is segmented into subregions of assorted independently. Several windows of maintains their own independent color region.

If multiple windows of firefox are open, each has its own region. Menus contextual (e.g. right click anywhere in the window of FF) also have such a region. Disable all extensions, plugins and themes has no effect.

    (1) the colors I have observed are still basic (cyan, magenta, yellow, green, blue, red, gray). When the color is set or changed (described below) the color seems to be set randomly - that is to say, I can't distinguish a model on how

    (2) the scrolling window or by invoking a dialog modal/guest/file browser will cause the entire region move to another color. Some (I can't nail down the rhyme or reason) changes at the level of the block to a page will cause a subregion to appear horizontally aligned of the said block. Changes to the scale of the "reset" of these subregions page. Animations on the resulting page of color variations (for example, discoloration in a div of modal superimposition or sliding slow upward from the Firefox address bar when you enter fullscreen) will lead the fast color change during the animation and transition period. Blur in the window of Firefox or by using the key PrintScreen resets also the whole region to a color, so I am unable to get a screengrab of the different subregions.

Is this a problem with Firefox? Where can I file a bug report? Mozilla? GNOME? X? Mesa?

I just wanted to post an update. I revisited once more this issue to try to understand what was the problem (this time with v44.0).

Once again, no change in settings solved the problem, or does disabling extensions and themes.

However, this time, a newly created profile does not show the behavior. This new profile, I have installed all my extensions and themes, set up my custom settings and I have not seen the problem come back for days now.

Don't know what happened here. The update of v39 v40 (with no other changes) introduced this strange artifact, that at first, is not solvable with a new profile, but it is now. I am at a loss.

  • When I restored it firefox, I lost all of my items to scrapbook?

When I updated Firefox to 27.0.1 I lost scrapbook, so I did a reset of firefox. Have I lost all my items to scrapbook? I think I scrapbook more 2 installed - I think! At this point, I'm totally frustrated. I have used Firefox for years, and this is the first time that I had these problems.

Also, alt print screen and print screen does not work properly with Firefox now. It works fine with Internet Explorer and Chrome, and believe me I went thru hell trying to find out what was wrong before I found out that the updated Firefox was the problem. I am using win xp sp 3. I would appreciate any help.

I'm almost ready to say goodby to Firefox even when I loved her in the past.

    Thanks for any help.

Hi Rob, thanks for sending me the document.

I think that the 'partial screen' strange artifacts could indicate that Firefox is not totally compatible with the driver for your graphics card. The usual solution is to disable the use of Firefox hardware acceleration.

the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > advanced

In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

Which will take effect after you quit and then restart Windows. Any difference?

I notice that you turn off hardware acceleration for a different reason (https://support.mozilla.org/questions/948616) about 14 months ago, but after using Firefox reset function, which would default to 'on '.
