• Can not get the zoom slider to view the streets & trips.

  I have the Streets & Trips 2009 and have enjoyed the "zoom slider" for sizing of my cards.  (Yes, I know how to use the drag diagonally right button of the mouse, but don't like it as well.).  A couple of days when I opened streets & trips, the zoom slider disappeared.

  Microsoft Streets & Trips Help window says simply, «Click on the buttons on the Zoom slider to zoom in or zoom out.»

  Other research indicates that the zoom slider must be displayed in the toolbar 'location and scale. "  Fake!  All that the watch is a mileage scale legend.

  I clicked on the selection of the menu toolbar, but can't find the zoom slider is among the options.  I've disabled all the toolbar selections and reselected them one by one, just in case the zoom slider has been covered by another.

  I reinstalled the program in repair mode, but that did not solve it.

  How can I display the zoom slider?

  Try to perform the system restore and check, or you can editing and re - install the software

• Streets & trips - suggested improvements

  I have been using Microsoft Streets & Trips for many years. I mainly use it to plan my itinerary for vacation every year.

  Each year, I have about 2-3 weeks of vacation and go driving. I spend a lot of time before my trip by selecting my itinerary, identify places to visit and things to do along the way. I also use it as a tool to estimate the cost to find accommodations at the end of each day of the planned trip. I also use it to limit the number of miles I drive every day... If you're too far, you don't spend the time to research.  Therefore, here are some suggestions you might consider adding as options when generating route directions.

  Suggestion #1.  During the generation of the road, provide an option to identify when the journey begins each day can be identified with the date of travel.  An example would be" day 1 - Saturday, June 1, 2013.

  Suggestion #2.  As well as the cumulative trip mileage, add a column of cumulative mileage for each day.

• map update streets & trips 2013

  I installed the version trial of Microsoft Streets & trips 2013 and wonder why the cards are not updated?

  I live in Edmonton, the Canada and noted that the "ring road" learned by Hyway # 216, or called "Anthony Henday" does not appear in the North section?

  Now the "ring road" has been there on the West side of the North of the city of Edmonton for more then 2 years, it appears in the land of google maps/google earth and mapquest. "."

  Now I was really curios on when the 2013 version of Microsoft Streets and Trips would be updated to show this, and more is there so no other road in Canada as in the United States that is not on this last version?

  I tried to download free streets & trips and it won't let me download I've been on the phone for an hour and apparently the last person I spoke told me to post here? There is telephone support online for a purchased version, but since this is a free edition of the trial, I have to search for this road?

• Microsoft Streets & TRIPS 2007 license

  I have Microsoft streets & trips 2007. I want to install it on a USB key so I can use it on both computers. The license agreement says I can only have it installed on a device at a time, and a USB key is a device. It would be in the license of a computer uninstall it and reinstall it on another, so I think that would be nice; It's just a way to speed up the process. I think that the reason behind the rule is while I do not give to a friend or have my family use it for two trips at the same time or something. I'm not going to use it on several computers at the same time, so I don't see a problem, but it is questionable, since it is not specifically mentioned. Sorry to post this here; probably, you guys don't know how to work Microsoft licensing agreements. But I contacted Microsoft and after giving me the evasive bureaucratic, they sent me here. They also told me that the streets & trips 2007 is obsolete - if this is the case, is also obsolete license, and I have to worry not at all?

  License 0xC004D301 error. This happened last year and I was able to talk to a representative that "reset" of the license. It could happen again or will I have to buy another piece of software?

• Streets & trips 2013 details download installation problems...

  The installation seems to work, but the program may not be running.  Control Panel verifies that the software is installed (1.8 GB) while the installer has not created an S & T normal ICON and the software cannot be loaded even by clicking on the executable file in the program directory files. I have installed/uninstalled the program several times.  Turned off Norton antivirus and firewall and Windows Firewall protection. Restarted again and again. Nothing has worked...

  -Error message: "cannot find a network share or removable device, the DVD is not in the drive or installing this application is damaged.  Make sure that the drive you installed is attached, the DVD is in the drive, your network is connected, or run the installation again from its original installed location. (5-40003-6) ".

  ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM YET?

• Creation of custom symbols - streets & trips

  Our office uses streets & trips to create custom cards with a key/legend. We tried to create symbols customized (in this case, the card numbers) using a number of techniques in Photoshop and Illustrator. Streets & trips will accept only Bmp files. If you create the numbers in Photoshop, they are too pixelated and badly the streets & trips. But you can't save or export as a BMP in Illustrator. Thus, we created the numbers in Illustrator, save them as jpg files, then convert BMP files in Photoshop. Numbers look fine until what import us them in Streets & Trips. Then, they become "mottled" - with clear areas bit from the bottom in the numbers. It's too random. The flecks are in locations on each issue, even if it's the same background for each file. Someone at - it a good solution for the creation of custom symbols that will work in the streets & trips?
