  Your printer is not compatible with Mountain Lion, that's why using Mac one driver generic PCL which is black & white drivers only:

  Try a 3rd party like HPIJS driver, it seems your printer support and more likely to provide you with a better results than a generic driver.

  I regularly receive scanned documents that are sent in color. I prefer much bitonales images, because they are smaller and easier on the eyes. Is it possible to convert these in Acrobat X? I don't see one, and research has not helped.

  Using of "convert monochrome colors" as a search I found the answer on the intrawebs.

  You * can * convert to monochrome, but the result was less that optimal, so I stuck with grayscale.  The preflight toolset, did the trick.

• Sierra of MacOS - iCloud Drive Documents & Desktop keeps Getting Stuck download

  as stated in the header after activating the iCloud Drive to include Documents and desktop download stuck guard.

  Since almost 2 weeks I started the task mean to ask iCloud to include above mentioned files. Total quantity was about 100 GB download. I have 1 TB of storage for iCloud. iCloud is always download and always get stuck after about 10 to 30 minutes to download. Then I have to restart after that it starts to load only from getting stuck again.

  I was on the phone with Apple Care who had no idea of what might happen. They Said and I quote "we have no problem with iCloud download and your problem has not yet been recreated by others."

  I find it very hard to believe that I can repro this problem on 3 different systems.

  I have Cable speed of 400 Mbps downstream a 25mbit upstream. I have zero upstream of questions to dropbox or Spideroak at an astonishing speed. ICloud is the slowest I've ever known in my life but as I said after 14 days, it has yet to fill about 40 GB. This is ridiculous IMO.

  If anyone has any ideas on what is once again wrong with iCloud, I would of course tips

  Try to go into System Preferences/iCloud and stop synchronization. Wait a few minutes, then recheck the timing.

  Have you tried the signature to iCloud and then reconnect?

  I have at least two concurrent problems with my iPhone 6 + iOS 10.0.2 (but started with iOS 9).

  I can't install new application directly from the App Store on the phone because they were stuck in the phase of "pending". Same behavior of update of the applications that are already installed.

  The only way to update/install the app's iTunes download and synchronize.

  The other simultaneous problem is in what regards the activation of "low power mode" with the rocker switch (settings > farm > Low Power). Whenever I try to activate (manual or automatic 20% of battery) function, the gray toggle becoming in the Middle, then return to the OFF position.

  I already have backupped & restored several times, but nothing has changed.

  How can I solve this?

  Thanks for posting in the communities of Support from Apple. I see that you have two problems. One is that the low power Mode is not activated, and the other is that updates and new applications are blocked pending. I know that I rely on my iPhone for everything. It is important to ensure that it works as expected. I'll be more than happy to help.

  Great job to the backup of your phone and restore. It's a great way to help solve these issues.

  If you are restoring from a backup, the problem may be in the back upward. I recommend to reset the phone to factory settings and set up like new to see if the Mode low power and installing apps works. If this does not work after the installation in the new and not after the restoration then you want to restore your data manually and not market back.   I had this problem some time ago, too.  I ended up contact iTunes support.  They have updated something on the main server and it removed them from the queue.  Drove me crazy.

  Launchpad should display an icon for download that you can suspend and resume.

  Hello, I have an iphone 6 purchased from Apple about the release two years ago, never had any problems until this Friday, 10 March 16 when I noticed my battery percentage was is no longer draining after moderate use. He would stay at 100 percent every day and then turns off randomly. I have iOS 10.0.2, have tried to reset, power on/off, restore factory... nothing works! Is someone able to please shed some light on why this might be the case? Google tells me that there was a similar problem earlier this year when those who have no zone defined as auto has encountered a similar problem with the battery percentage being stuck and not up-to-date (i.e. no reflective battery drains with use). I went to settings and noticed that my time zone was not set as automatic. Does anyone else have this same problem and what is the reference for this?

  Hello.

  First, plug in your iPhone, let the screen off and do nothing for a long period of time. Leave it plugged in all night while you sleep is perfect for that.

  Then, restart your iPhone by pressing and maintaining the sleep/wake and home buttons.

  You can also try following the suggestions of battery life. Go to settings > farm > find 'Suggestions of battery life.

  Since upgrading to iOS 10 a couple of my applications like facebook are stuck on waiting and I can't access it. I tried all the usual fixes like restarting the phone and enter the purchased section on the app store, but it won't let me even remove apps or stop the download.   Sometimes simply knock on the home screen application stops the download and then you are able to resume and it works. Otherwise... I'm afraid you will have to reinstall iOS.

  I am really stuck and frustrated!

  It can help to triple - click the Home button.

  First off my iPhone with iOS 10.02 6s suddenly made my Whatsapp ikon in the home screen disappear this morning.  I have went to the AppStore and downloaded installed and tried to install again.  I clicked on the 'restore from iCloud"and waited.  Data has been downloaded 'so-called' and shows there's also recorded with WhatsApp 32 MB, BUT is not further that "restore...". 99%... and the wheel just begins to turn.  It seems to make no difference if I restart the iPhone or redownload the app, it is still stuck at the same place for an hour or more.  This seems to have started happening at the end of September and October 2016 and should be a problem to Apple... Any help would be appreciated.
