Stuttering/buzzing for Audio/video playback

Hello

Recently I had a few problems reading any kind of media.  At regular intervals the audio will gel/jump for a second and make a loud grinding noise, then resume.  This happens with music, video streaming, games, pretty much everything.  If I watch a video or a game, the screen freezes for a second, and then resume.

I use an Inspiron 1545 with Windows 7 64-bit, SP1.

I tried everything I could think of, update all my drivers, codecs, anit-virus ongoing relocation of execution and cleaning on my system.  I have found that sometimes the offset is in my DPC latency spikes, but sometimes they aren't, and I don't know what is causing the spikes.  I tried most of the solutions here: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3517/p/19142484/19265470.aspx#19265470 , but nothing seems to have helped, and I'm getting a little desperate.

Any ideas?

Try to uninstall Dell Support Center and see if you get an improvement.

Original title: my sound card is missing or disabled?

My sound worked very well with some speakers the other day, when suddenly it stopped working. The sounds again, but with sounds such as those where an error message is displayed is not default reading/game audio is not.

I recently got this computer work again once I've been using another computer for awhile, so I was messing around with some parameters that could be the cause of this.

One of my games says my sound card's 'missing or disabled', & iTunes says "iTunes has detected a problem in your audio configuration. Audio/video playback may not work correctly. »

  • "For Audio/video on the Internet" does not open

    Hi all

As the title suggests when I click on "for Audio/video on the Internet" nothing happens.  It seems that the icon has also changed.  I tried to look around this problem without success.  I would appreciate any assistance.

Plaase excuse my ignorance, but it is "for Audio/video on the Internet", a program or command in a browser (maybe an add-on)?  What is doing?  Have you checked that the http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-vista/Default.aspx Vista Compatibility Center to ensure that the program / module is compatible with Vista and/or Internet Explorer? If so, please provide the web site of the program (link) so we can search more far - I couldn't find using Bing (which is unusual).  The fact that it has an icon indicates it is a program.

What was the program installed and when its last function properly (and have the correct icon)?  Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.

Right-click on the icon and click Properties.  On the general tab, it's a file with a path - what is this parth?  Go to this path in Windows Explorer and check to see if it exists and if it contains all of the files/programs. If it is there, so we know at least that the program is on the system even if the icon does not work.  Go to the executable main real within the program and create a new shortcut icon and move whenever the icon currently exists and see if this new icon works and it solved the problem.  If this is not the case, try to do a right-click on the icon and click on run as administrator to see if you have a better chance.

If she isn't here or the procedures above will not work (and it is a program or an add-on), then I suggest you uninstall with Revo http://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/revo-uninstaller/revouninstaller.html and then restart and try reinstalling it.  He may have developed some corrupted files (espcially if the icon has changed) and this may clear up the problem.

If I'm away from base here, please tell me.  I've never heard of this product before and as I said, I don't find it with Bing, and it is very rare that the programs available.  Please explain what it is and more to hold and, if possible, provide the link of web site (I can download it me to test it and see if I have also the problem - if I have Vista Business, which does not come with Media Center and I suspect that it is associated with, if it's a program).

I hope this helps and please get back to us with more information so that we can help you better.

    Good luck!

  • Digital Coaxial output for audio/video receiver - does not

I connected my LCD TV to my office from HP (9340f) using the S-video output on a Nvidia 9800GT video card.  The video is awesome, but I can't get the sound to work on my Harmon Kardon AVR146 receiver.  I plugged the exit at the back of the HP to the coaxial digital input at the back of the digital coaxial receiver.

When I open the properties for audio devices and test the audio from Realtek, I can hear the sounds (piano?) of the speakers connected to the receiver, however, when I play video through windows media, or play a video game there is no noise at all.

    Any suggestions?

have you gone to control panel-> Sound, then verify that the digital output is enabled.  No speaker ouput.

(If you are using Vista, you should see a green check mark next to it)

It is always useful if you tell us what operating system is installed. In this way without guesswork... I think maybe required ESP.

  • Gurgling noise in Audio/video playback

Hi, I hope someone can help any detailed instructions would be great.

When playing audio/video, an intermittent gurgling noise (freezes too) occurs if playing stored or streaming media (audio and video) for example iTunes, YouTube, windows media player, etc..

All solutions please share! Have already updated drivers. Contacted customer service, basically, they did the same drivers uninstalled then reinstalled does not.

Note After searching questions, which seems to be a problem for other people too, not only of Sony. If it helps, even if the laptop is model SVT13134CXS VAIO T series 13 Touch Ultrabook.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

P.S. Here's an example of how it sounds, in my opinion, it starts at about 01:30
    http://m.YouTube.com/watch?v=CF9Pvdsz0UM

To further isolate the issue, you can run the Checkdisk utility under windows.  You can also launch the VAIO Care and use the tools in this application.  There are some hardware diagnostics, as well as the VAIO Care convenience store and one-click-care.  These tools can scan your PC and try to solve the problems.  Give it a try and see if that will make a difference.

The following are marked with problems in hardware devices (Panel): Audio controller, modem PCI controller SM Bus controller and video controller.
Anyone know what to do or where I can find these drivers?

What I found on the Toshiba site has not helped me. Really, I installed win XP pro sp2 several times, but I never have problems with the driver. Can someone tell me where I can find the driver for all devices on the internet of this?

  • Keyboard shortcut for audio + video sync in wmp (I thought it was the key to ctrl-plus)

When playing a video and the audio is slightly out of sync, I read there was a keyboard shortcut which allowed you to try and sync.

I thought it was the key to ctrl-plus/minus. But this does not seem to do anything.

    Hi martin,

There is no key shortcut as such on the audio and video sync in Windows Media Player.

For more information about shortcut keys in Windows Media Player, you can follow this link.

  • Dv2500 (DV2615NR) Conexant HD Audio breaks down a few minutes after an audio/video playback

    Hi all

I got DV2615NR about 15 months ago and have a strange audio problems.

(Yes, exactly three months after the warranty expired and I had ' nevermind, buddy ' sign of the HP support...)

    The symptom is:

    1. whenever I'm playing MP3 or films downloaded with some media players, it works for 1 ~ 5 mins

    2. after that, the music or audio begins to break and possibly repeat last dry 0.5 forever, unless I turn off the laptop forcefully.

    I tried the following things:

    1 reinstall Vista 32bits fresh

2 reinstall Vista 64 bit fresh

3 update BIOS for later (F.27)

    4. install the latest HP drivers(MCP*)

    5. install the nVidia nForce driver

6 install the driver nVidia GeForce 7150 M video

    7. install nVidia OEM drivers

    and the result is:

    past yet.

The current version of Conexant HD Audio is 4.36.7.60 (09/04/2008) on Vista64

If you had a similar problem and have a solution, please help...

    Thanks in advance.

I found the solution for this.

It was something to do with the estate of LAN wireless, called "Minimum energy" characteristic 'active' by default.

As soon as I disable the feature, everything seems fine...

  • 2 T520 is ordered, what are my Options for Audio/video output

I'm super excited and can't wait to get my computer and my family, yes I have for two with the same configuration.  I'm in a company using Lenovo and I the T400 now which was an upgrade of the T60 which was an upgrade of the T42 and an upgrade to a T21.  Now for my personal computer I upgraded to a T520 of an HP DV9418CA after passing through 2 motherboards, I give up.  I guess the 2 and 6 years close the computer all the time or leave the treadmill a bit more heated the computer too often.

I use my computer to stream the videos, editing photo/videos, excel (VB) and access and maintain a couple of websites.  I do turn to high-speed Bell with a Dlink N Router extreme and have a Dlink NAS with two drives of 1 TB in raid0

I went with the following options...

      Processor

There is a combo headphone/mic on the laptop so you can use it.

Or you can also get a displayport to hdmi, to get the laptop to the LCD screen.

If you need a dedicated digital audio, a card usb sound with digital toslink or coaxial out.

    Hello

Are you facing this problem with ITunes?

Try to set up the device in the default playback tab and check whether the problem is resolved.

    1. Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, hardware and sound, and then clicking sound.
    2. click on the playback tab, click speakers and set its default value.

Check whether the problem is resolved.

Try to play music using Windows media player and check if it works.

If you are facing this problem with ITunes, you may have to uninstall and reinstall the program ITunes that could help you to fix the program.

If this does not work, I suggest you to contact Apple for assistance. Unfortunately, we can not help with third party software/hardware changes.

Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Please post back and let us know if it helped to solve your problem.

  • power audio, video playback

I can't hear audio on videos, I play... volume checked and everything seems OK.

    Help!

Is it a problem suddenly which has just started, or has it always been a problem?

Also, I noticed that you posted in the section Windows 8.  Windows 8 is nearly three years old.  In recent years, Microsoft has fixed hundreds of problems and the 8.1 update to correct the problems.

To solve your problems, I recommend you to install the update as soon as possible.

  • Fact the TV standard (NTSC / PAL) count for USB for TV video playback?

    Hi all

I will register soon some 1080 p videos and I will deliver the finished video edited on USB to a family to read on their TV. (in the United Kingdom)

My question is; So what if I record the video NTSC or PAL? They will be be plug the USB directly on their televisions to watch the video.

I know that I would need to record in PAL if I was burning to DVD to play on a British DVD player / TVs, but no matter if it is played from a USB?

I plan on using NTSC, 1080 p, 30 frames per second.

    Thanks in advance!

    Paul

I had no problem reading video PAL from my media server, so my inclination is to say that it won't matter to you either.

That said, you won't know until what test you.  Download a short excerpt NTSC to a site for them to download file sharing.  Do this before that learn you what either.

  • Assistance for necessary video playback in Captivate 8 bar

Can someone help me solve a problem with the video PlayBar in 8 Captivate?   I have several 'Video event' slides in a project.  I can't seem to get the players to slide to match, and some won't let me select options I want such as Play, Stop, Pause, rewind, and FForward (selections are grayed out).  In addition, if a fast person sends the video, it does not automatically move to the next slide when it ends (that I selected in the Actions Panel in properties... it looks like the slide waiting for the duration of the video.

Can someone help me understand how to create a framework that will make each slide player 'Video of the event' alike?  And can you tell me how to use parameters before someone can move a video around so it takes more than the duration of the video, but always advances when the video is finished?

Would be very happy to help - have spent days trying to figure this out.

    Hi Cross-Media 7.

Playing videos in Adobe Captivate has always been frustrating and really has not improved that much since version 4.  When I need to make an intensive video, I chose another tool like Camtasia Studio since it is video based based slide vs.

There are ways to minimize the pain.  For example, if you import your videos into a service like Vimeo, you can use a Web Captivate object to embed the video using the Vimeo player.  This frees you to have to use video of 'skin' Captivate limited players.  In addition, Vimeo has a JavaScript API that allows you to raise an event when the video is done playing... which allows you to run some JavaScript to automatically switch to the next slide.

Vimeo isn't the only video service that offers this, there are many others... Wistia comes to mind.  In any case, I think that Adobe can do better in this area.  The limited number of Player skins and the question of the FFing video causing the slide sent to fail are gross oversights.  Fortunately, there are workarounds.

    Best,

    Jim Leichliter

  • Problems with audio/video playback and the Source window

I have some videos that I try to import into my sequence. Whenever I have open the video in my source window (or drag it to the timeline), the sound goes crazy. He starts to jump and identified himself. When I open the movie file in Quicktime format on my computer, it opens and plays very well. In addition, I don't know if it is not connected, but sometimes, when I open a video in the window of my Source, there is no audio. I can drag to the sequence and double-click on it to put the video of the sequence in the Source window and it plays very well.

The video that I have problems with is a .mov, filmed from an iPad (not sure what model of iPad). It is filmed in Portrait mode, do not know if it matters. Please let me know what other information would be necessary to solve this problem.

    Hello
I'm trying to change the speed of audio/video playback, so I could play faster, but I did not find any solution.
It must be changed dynamicaly - there is no possibility of normal production, quick read of file.
