Stylus pen ball

Can I use a stylus (i.e., a stylus with a point, although plastic, rather than a rounded end rubber) on an envy Touchsmart all-in-one running Windows 8?

If so, what are my best results to use?

Thank you very much

frrw - cordially, the OP mentioned in a similar thread that it has key 10 points on his new AiO ENVY. So I guess it's actually a capacitive touchscreen, not one with IR sensors as on older models of TouchSmart. I don't think there is a way to use a capacitive touchscreen without coming into physical contact with the screen, either with a stylus, fingers, etc.

    Hello

No, the 500 Yoga does not support an active stylus. You can use those passive (the black feathers or Jot Pro Mini of same Adonit - I a) fine.

Manually enable the experience of ink in a right click on the taskbar and by checking the button 'show WIndows ink Workspace. " It will appear next to the button on the keyboard like a pen with a line - tap here and you will have the sketches and used with a finger or a capacitive stylus reminder options.

I just bought the spectrum of the 360 HP (15-inch screen) with 16 GB and I7 process. I bought the assets assets stylus pen. Indications that you simply put the pen on the screen tap or tap and it will start working. Well, he didn't. I googled all, the driver is installed, I calibrated the screen. My finger is working to write, but the pen does nothing.

  • R7 - 572 is screen pen stylus scratches-resistant?

I am considering buying the R7-572 mainly for its pen functionality.

I can't find any information on the type of medium used on his screen. I have a very old laptop that I used for years with a wacom pen. Its screen is heavily scratched and marred years of using the pen.

R7-572 uses gorilla glass or similar to protect its screen? I fear that the use of heavy pen will damage or scratch the surface of the screen. I also read that the use of a screen protector will reduce the sensitivity of the pen, which would be a huge negative for me.

It's been more than a month that I use my R7 - 572 for drawing, so I thought to come back and share my thoughts on the screen.

I am pleased to announce that extensive drawing (I'm a professional artist) on the screen has not yet resulted in scratches. I should also mention that I don't use screen on my R7 screen protectors as those would not interfere with my drawing.

So my experience so far is that the R7' in-572 screen is durable and do not scratch with a wide use of the Acer stylus pen.

If anyone has any questions on this subject, or anything related to the use of the R7 for artistic creation, please do not hesitate to ask!

  • Spectrum of HP x 360: Dell active pens for HP spectrum x 360 range

    Hello dear friends of HP!

I had a spectrum HP x 360 for a while now and wanted to get an active pen for her, because I would use it for the University. So I took to the internet to find out what active pen that works better for the spectrum x 360.
I've seen the videos and the recommendations of the active stylus Dell, so I chose to buy it.
Unfortunately, when I try to install the driver for the active stylus for Dell, it says that the driver does not work with my camera...
    What should I do?
    Help, please!

    Thank you

  • Acer Aspire R7 - 572 stylus starting from 11/04/16?

    Hello

I have an acer r7 - 572 I bought about 2 years ago. I had brought the original stylus for the laptop at the time, but currently he lost. I had to buy a new one, but this model of pen designed especially for this model is no longer registered on the site of the store or on amazon!

I accidentally bought a 'active Stylus II' thinking that it was for this model, but it is for the other R7, not mine.

Are there places to buy the respective pen for this notebook (or a driver to install for the II which would allow me to use it) or I'm going penless?

Thank you very much for the help!

It seems that the previous thread was deleted. One of the links I had was too bad.

    Here are the most valid

If you have a Microsoft Store in your area, walk and pick up a pen Surface Pro 3 or 4 Surface Pro.

Note: No driver will make R13 pen you bought the work, as the laptop uses a completely different digitizer.

The digitizer on your R7 is initially made by N-Trig, N-Trig has been used on many different laptops, including the Surface Pro microsft. Microsoft recently bought N-Trig, so that they are now the official manufacturer of the digitizer and pens.

  • Acer Aspire R7-571 and Pen support?

Hello, I recently bought an Acer Aspire R7-571 and I wonder if it supports any kind of pen or stylus for the touch screen? I ask this because if that's the case I intend to buy one, but if it isn't... Well, I don't want to waste money and prefer not to buy one only to find out that it doesn't work.

Also what leads me to believe that it may in fact take supported a pen/stylus, is to do for the parameters in under hardware and sound control panel, where it says Pen and Touch. So yes maybe a stupid question, but I figure it does not hurt to ask.

    Thank you for your time

You can use the same pens and stylii with your Acer R7-571 as with most Android devices or iPhone/iPad: capacitive standard pens. I use with my R7-571. In General, how to identify the price will be: they should all be less than $20! (In fact, $ 2 mine!)

R7-572 has an active digitizer under the screen, and so should be an active stylus/pen for her. They start usually from $30.

More information here. But not much more!

  • pen on dell xps 12?

Why dell does not give customers a decent answer?

I am a graphic designer and I need to know if I can use a stylus pen 12 active and this Dell xps?

    Hi nfl91,

The 12 XPS does not use an active stylus. It will not accept a piece of rubber capacitive, because of the coating on the Corning Gorilla glass.

  • Can we get along and the skinny on Dell's Active pens?

So I just bought a Dell Pro 11 Dell taking place.  Screaming deal - $513 after shipping and taxes for a tablet of class business with a TPM, a good BIOS/UEFI (suck it, Surface) and accessible (including batteries!) internal material as well as delicious cherries on top like the WiDi, NFC, Miracast, etc.  The Haswell with the latest Intel Core i5, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB SATA SSD (slime) are pretty Ballin ', too.  I'm very excited about it, and I thank you, Dell, for the design of this piece of engineering magnificence and to make accessible to a cheapskate like me for about 500 dollars to panic.

There is ONE thing, however, that frustrate me.

I received an email this morning from Aishwarya J Manay informing me that the active stylus Dell #750 - LT. I had selected in my order was no longer available, but that he could order me the replacement unit - the Dell #750 - AAGN active stylus.  Interesting.

First of all, accessories for e-mail client (in this case me) to ask what they want!  It's good customer service!

On the flipside, I SCOURED internet for more information on the differences between them, and I've found NO official information about it.  I'm flying blind, relying on hearsay and message forum.  While useful, it would be nice to have a breakdown of the differences between these pens directly from the horse's mouth.  I read that the first version of the active stylus Dell was somewhat full of bugs related to the precision and responsiveness - flaws that would be dealbreakers for me.  If I wanted a Tablet only generic without a stylus and a digitizer, I have set for the Atom-based sites or go with another brand altogether... but I wanted a tablet which had a GOOD pen and a GOOD scanner with GOOD responsiveness for digital take notes, sketch and art.

So with my research, it SEEMS to me that #750 - AAGN is the new active stylus Dell... but my own reading, it seems that it might actually be the THIRD and last revision?  But I honestly don't know--maybe it's the first, and you guys are just trying to pawn off the coast of some old stock on some dumb * who don't know any better (shakes fist with anger).

I don't know, but it would be nice to hear official word on this subject from you guys...

    Sincerely,

-Anyone who is considering buying a Dell coming Pro.

I think your interpretation is correct: the stylus you will receive, with a barrel that is half silver, half black (all previous versions/revisions were all black), is the last refinement (let's call it a revision or a new version) unhappy stylus pen active Dell, Dell has worked to eliminate earlier, problems.  I usually heard for most of the positive things about it, and that Dell "finally got right."

You can read much more on its subject (the active stylus for Dell, all the versions/revisions) from the perspective of the consumer in the various threads on the forum Dell tabletpcreview.com.   http://Forum.TabletPCReview.com/forums/Dell.1032/ and here is the direct link to the most recent thread, discussing the latest version.  http://Forum.TabletPCReview.com/threads/new-Dell-stylus-11-3-14.64415/

    Hello

By this article, http://www.eweek.com/mobile/fujitsu-stylistic-q702-features-duosense-technology/, your device uses the n-trig technology.  We have confirmed that our application works with detection of n-trig technology, namely the stylus input.

What we have noticed is that when you use a n-trig pen, some hardware implementations require to press a lot harder than you would expect that our application makes use of the sensitivity to pressure that provides n-trig.

We do nothing to specifically support one device over another.  Everything we do in our code base is to check if the drivers for your input device support the pressure and we behave as such.  On some devices using n-trig, the pressure sensitivity works more as you would expect you should be on other hardware devices.

    I hope this helps.
