• Reference Dell place 11 Pro shipping disappointment

  I am writing this primarily to express my frustrations and I hope that someone at Dell will take notice because I think to complain to someone on the phone at Dell will fall on the deaf ears and will be a waste of time.  It seems that we, the consumers are at the mercy of Dell and for me, this is unacceptable.

  A bit of history.  I ordered a Dell coming Pro 11 the day where he was available to order (11/8).  I had a few changes, I had to make to the order, remove their extended maintenance guarantee and remove the stylus and the keyboard - no change in reality have been made to the tablet itself.  This has been done on 11/11.  I never received a confirmation email from Dell telling me when should I expect my 'New' order, but I have received an order number of the person that I spoke, which was the only way I could follow the command.  The 'new' had a date of expected delivery of 12 to 18.  It seemed reasonable to me and I was happy to wait and excited.

  In the meantime, I started to order accessories - screen protector and a 64 GB MicroSD in preparation for the arrival of my tablet.  18 I still had not received my being shipped order notifications and Dell sent an email about why, or when I would expect it.  I had received SEVERAL phone calls indicating that the order was in production and should be here 12/18.  I think that on the 18th or 19th I checked the Dell order support site to see that the issue had been delayed until 02/01/2014.  I was shocked... and spoke to the person who asked me the prescription being in production about why it had not been shipped.

  The 2nd came and went, and still, only, I received a phone call from the rep of Dell indicating the order had been pushed back to 9, then on the 9th, declaring that it had been postponed until the 16th.  This morning I checked the Dell support site to be notified that the scheduled delivery date is 01 23, 2014.

  I canceled the order this morning because I don't think I, or someone else should wait indefinitely for their order to arrive once his promised summer unnecessarily.  The "estimated delivery date" is a joke and does not reflect exactly any time in which the order could actually ship.

  Looking on the Dell website, you can order a Tablet Dell place 11 Pro with the 16/01/2014 estimated shipping date all the way until 06/02/2014 depending on the type of Tablet that you choose.  I know I'm not the only one who had this problem and I hope that more people shut up someone at Dell reviews and change the way they do business.

  I work in the COMPUTER industry and I am highly disappointed by Dell.  For now I'll only order Dell hardware for the company I work for. However, we will have to reassess these orders as well.

  I actually found a way how to solve this problem. Tried above all, disconnect battery, registry fixes and etc... In all cases at some point touchpad become unresponsible. But what I found accidentally - while the touchpad is not respond to gestures and does not move a cursor - function click on the touchpad still works. in any case, this close to me do not have a solution.

  As always, the solution is just magic - all you need to do to restore a bloody thing - is to run SynaUtilitySfx.exe, while the Tablet is connected to the keyboard. The utility will fail saying that the touchscreen device not found - but this will allow touchscreen and a touchpad. Despite I'm an IT professional - I can't explain what is happening, but this method has worked for me.

  I disconnected the keyboard shelf and set the keyboard on the charge, which immediately ruined the touchpad when I connected the keyboard for Tablet. I ran new SynaUtilitySfx.exe - all work. A few times to prove: it does not fix the bloody thing!

  You can get SynaUtilitySfx.exe stuff from the dell Web site, they call it Panel Touch Firmware on Dell place 11 Pro 5130.

• Lost power 'high performance' profile on the meeting place 8 pro

  I only see the option 'Balanced '. I remember when I had first tablet, I had two options... one for balanced and another for performance.

  How can I return these options? At the very least, that someone can point out their profile for their meeting places 8 pro settings?

  Also, I see no popup 'low battery'... the tablet will shut down without any warning when the battery is low.

  That has something to do with the sleep settings connected / configuration Dell made on these units. It is the same for versions place 11 MS Pro. units of vPro are different because no standby connected supports.
  If you turn off the connected Eve all Windows power plans are displayed and all the advanced features of power are available.

  Use the command Regedit and change the following:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power
  Change the value for the key CsEnabled from 1 to 0 and reboot.

  1 means connected off standby active and 0.
  Try it and see if it solves your problem.

  BTW: by disabling the connected standby battery also will show the time remaining not only the percentage of battery life. :-)

  Easy breezy. > Settings. Laptop settings | PCs and devices. Devices | Record of the default locations 'Save music, photos, and videos on a removable drive by default' > 'Setup', 'select what types of media that you want to save on the storage device card Secure Digital (D) by default. We will create a folder for each type that you select, but we don't spend any of your existing files. "[option to possibly check boxes] - music - photos - videos so in your case, check the boxes for 'photos' and 'videos' and you're ready.

• Manual for Dell place 8 Pro 750-LT. Stylus?

  So I just got the 'new' pen and it works fine. It seems that all the bugs people are complaining were crushed. However, it might work even better if it had some actual instructions. I searched and returned empty. Any ideas?

  Look in the user's manual system - there is a brief section on the stylus.   If there is something that would be useful, let me know and we might be able to improve the manual.   Looks like the manual is currently away for the 5130 (pending some other updates), but the content is also in the manual for 7130.

• Windows 10 place 8 Pro (5830) Orientation, driver, Boot and camera problems

  I've had problems with camera for a while now. When I try to open the camera application, I get a message that the camera is not connected. I tried to solve this problem through different methods, none of which work, and all of a sudden, I start getting a problem of Orientation.

  A few days earlier, I tried to start, and the machine would only start in Portrait mode. Tilt, rotation, etc. would not alter orientation. I went into the settings and was able to make the meeting place in the landscape, and he should stay there until the next time I started. It always starts in a Portrait, a direction that I rarely use.

  I thought that my problem was perhaps a pilot and I checked the Device Manager. All seemed well. Then, I went to the Dell Support and ran the driver verifier. They told me that I needed to update the Chipset Intel Atom Z3000 Series driver, so I started the download. The download is finished and the machine began to install it. Almost immediately, I got the error that the "Installation failed." I tried again and again, failed.

  Then I looked in the Device Manager to see if I could find where this driver fits, thinking that I could remove the driver in the machine and it would be automatically installed. After carefully by the Device Manager, I found the driver.

  Either incidentally... at some point earlier today, I might not even the machine to start. It froze on the screen, you get before the login screen. About 15 restart attempts finally worked and the machine will start up again.

  I then tried to reset the Tablet and received an other error message that it could not be done.

  I'm in a world of pain, here. Any suggestions?

  OK, no responses, so here is my solution...

  I've broken down and decided to follow the hard way... to the format of the drive, then reinstall Windows 10 and all software. It's a great job. The first thing is to gather all the material needed to make this work.

  Necessary material:

  1. an adapter Dell to allow the power supply and USB connection full size at once. I have a Dell for $20.

  2. a USB Hub with a minimum of 4 entry slots.

  3. USB keyboard

  4. USB mouse

  5 USB Wireless Network adapt

  6 USB Windows 10 32-bit Installer

  7. a lot of Patience.

  Connect the USB Hub to the Dell adapter (1) and insert line electric adapter Dell, attach it to the tablet in the mini (or is this microphone?) USB port.

  Hold the switch and the Volume until you pass at the same time until the Tablet starts in the BIOS. Change the boot order using the Volume button upwards so that the tablet will boot from USB Windows 10 Setup and follow the instructions.

  Once win 10 installed, make sure that you have a wireless connection, and go to the Dell Support to download and install the Driver.Your Chipset coming 8 Pro should now allow touch screen and Orientation. Download and install no matter what other drivers you need and all your software. Set up and you're back in business.

  I read how to do a complete reset location of Dell pro 11 7130 must make recovery usb disk, then use it to reinstall. But when I do that there is no partition backing up I can see and the USB key will eventually be 256 MB and my system is 4-5 GB in size.   I managed to attach the shelf to my phone and made the system detect and update drivers. I doubt the file corruption, but I guess that maybe... I looked at the log file and it said it couldn't detect the language of Windows and so he stopped from what I see. Very strange. Which could point to the bad programming if it was working properly I guess.

  I noticed that despite a number of improvements with the last firmware panel touch (the rare involuntary repetition of letters) and still a problem of firmware (no more wifi from the A13 firmware problem) device always on my 11 venue Pro model i3: during sleep sessions connected excessive battery drain.

  What happens is that, after leaving the appliance for 8 hours (overnight) connected standby battery has already drained almost 50%, which, as far as I understand, is much higher than that should be the case, while often after the awakening of the device, I found that another application may have open or some kind of parasite entries occurred.

  For now I've worked around the issue by disabling connected standby mode of the registry, which has the additional advantage of allowing hybernation in the stop menu. This, however, is a suboptimal solution because it seems necessary to either press the Windows logo on the chassis of tablets and THEN press the power button for a good second to wake up the unit, or with the keyboard connected, it is necessary to close the Tablet and re - open, followed by the same press the power button.

  Given that I seem to not be the only one with this problem and the lack of software updates for the device-specific over the past months, I would ask Dell if these issues of connected intelligence are still studied on the 7130 with a possible solution to come in the form of firmware updates or otherwise , or if attention was completely shifted to the model with processor Broadwell followed 7140.

• Cannot start place 8 Pro

  I have updated Avast Anti Virus on my place of 8 and there was a problem, so I need to do a clean uninstall and reinstall. Avast has a utility for this purpose. It should run in safe mode. During his run, he asks if you want to start in safe mode and I replied in the affirmative. Once in safe mode I can not select anything utility clean because it appears that the touchscreen does not work in safe mode. If you try to restart it immediately goes to the cleanup utility.

  As Jeff mentioned rightly Leites, coming 8 Pro tablet comes with a single micro-USB 2.0 port, which is a load and connect the port of combined device.  MIC USB OTG (On The Go) cable is required to connect all USB devices to the Tablet, including the mouse, keyboard or storage for data transfer device.  Here is a link to an example of the OTG cable: http://dell.to/1lCvTGS

  NOTE: I copied on the steps of resolution here as well in case anyone wants to see it.

  When sometimes, I had this problem, a deep discharge set: with power supply not connected, press the button of the Tablet for 30 or 60 seconds, including after the Tablet died;  Let the Tablet turned off for 2 minutes; and restart.  Have been informed by Support technique Dell that the cause is a buildup of static electricity, which avoids deep discharge.

  Hello world!. I bought an unlocked device Dell place pro from ebay, so far, it has been a great phone, but it came in English and I speak Spanish mainly. I read somewhere that all wp7 devices come with some languages by default factory, including Spanish, but some carriers are limited to English language and that, if a hard reset is performed, the languages become selectable. so, here is my question:

  If I do a hard reset to my place of unlocked dell pro, it locks again? and I'll be unable to use a foreign sim card that I use at the moment?

  Please, if you can help me, I'm very happy, I'm terrified to do it and reset my phone in a State of brick. get an another Unlock code is almost impossible according to other post I read here.

  Well, I finally did a hard reset on the phone and it is always open, updates are still there but the new language options were nowhere to be seen.

  In addition, some Dell help would have been very nice.

  I have the coming Pro 11 with the processor i5-4300y, 8 GB of RAM & 256 GB HDD

  The problem I have is when it is not locked, the keyboard on board does not appear when I touch in a text field, such as the field of password on the login page.

  Basically, if I boot the Tablet, désamarrée, I can't connect to it.

  My company has 4 of them with the same question. I opened a folder yesterday regarding the same issue. If you have rooted place and do a ctrl-alt-del and lock the computer, remove the dock and then tap the password field, then move the keyboard to the screen. It's the only way I've ever seen the keypad show on this screen. After this first keyboard pop up, you now will get the keyboard then in the field of research under the charms, etc. Weird behavior. I'm surprised they missed this engineering. It is a professional series. Most if not all users would be invited for the credentials of domain password field...

  I just bought a Dell Tablet 11 pro place I was hoping to use for the job. I am able to download photoshop cs6 to it? I tried to download just the free trial Adobe photoshop, but for some reason after that I installed creative cloud and try to download photoshop it starts the download then when he reached 82%, that it fails to download.
