• Windows 10 is not compatible with genie, someone has ACTUALLY a solution?

  I just updated my computer laptop microsoft Windows 10 because I was stuck with 8.1 for so long, super happy until I went to redownload genius because it deleted a little after the update, and now it is not even freaking work with windows 10. The new SUCKS update because it is not compatible with the latest technology for windows... is there actual patches? I went through the discussion after discussion and nothing really works or it is not found. Help!

  We apologize for the inconvenience, as the cause of the problem has been just recently discovered. Rest assured, we are working on a fix for future updates. Have you tried the temporary work around? If this isn't the case, you can follow the steps below.

  1. install the latest version of NETGEAR genius. You can use the below download link.

  2. Once you have successfully installed the program, go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \NETGEAR Genie\bin

  3. remove the drivers folder.

  4 download the drivers from the previous version of NETGEAR engineering using the below download link.

  5 unzip the file to your favorite place (Office would be easy to locate). It will contain the drivers folder.

  6 copy the drivers folder you have just unpacked and navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \NETGEAR Genie\bin

  7 paste the folder drivers.

  8 restart the genius of NETGEAR program

• Firefox, now sucks but was great before the update.

  I updated Firefox a few days ago and now everything is slow, suspended and notchy & a bit of sucking. There is no problem whatsoever before the update. I want to go back. I don't want to spend 6 hours to try this and and the other thing. Just zap the 'upgrade' and take me back so that I can work on all the other BS "updates" from other sites such as the FU * ING IDIOTS to Yahoo that has made my email life a nightmare.

  Clean reinstall it

  (3) to rename the existing Firefox program folder, either:

  (Windows 64-bit folder names)

  C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

  (Windows 32-bit folder names)

  C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
  

  TO

  C:\Program Files\OldFirefox
  

  (4) run the installer you downloaded in the #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.

  Note: Some plugins can only exist in this OldFirefox file. If it is missing something essential, present in these files:

  • \OldFirefox\Plugins
  • \OldFirefox\browser\plugins

  If you select the download updates but let me choose... option, no update will install without your approval. Suppose an update will require a reboot and does not approve the installation of an update until & unless you are ready to restart.

  You can change the AU for the "updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" setting. Once you have done this, you will need to approve the updates are downloaded, the updates are installed and where they are installed.

  I prefer "check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" setting.

• Lag at the opening of new Cat. Also this update sucks it.

  Apart from the obvious; so I was upgrade by force the new Skype (DESPITE HAVING AUTOMATIC updates. TURNED OFF SKYPE THANKS FOR THE INVASION, ASSHOLES.) everytime I open a new chat window, the program hangs for like 15 to 25 seconds before I can actually use it.

  It's annoying as all hell!

  So, how to downgrade this garbage, or operate just.

  I'd say version 6.21. It is known to work and doesn't have issues, that make new versions.

  Unfortunately I have updated my BIOS even though it was working fine. Now, the CPU never goes in turbo mode and rarely even tops out at he rated speed. Programs are slower to load and every thing has been pushed in performance. I know that this laptop is known to run hot but the mine ran quite hot but fast. I want that back. How to get back on an update of the BIOS. Help, please

  1 immediately after turn on hold, tap, the ESC key.

  2. when the menu is displayed, press F2 for System Diagnostics.

  3. in the list of questions will be BIOS Management.Use the arrow key to move to the bottom & highlight. Press the Enter key.

  4. you should now have an option to restore the BIOS. Use the arrow key again to highlight and press the Enter key.

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  CC 2015.5 pretend is actually CC 2016. It is a new version with its own folder structure. If you leave the CC application remove your old versions when you updated, you should always have your records there and you can copy your stuff on the new version. If you prefer to work in the old version, you can if you want to reinstall.

• Muse 2014.3 update absolutely sucks

  Everything worked well until the update. I've never had one of these problems. Don't tell me it would have happened on the old version either, because I've never had one of these problems on the latest version. Just have your shit update and let us know when you are going to fix.

• How to revert to the previous version. Last update makes the new windows appear less of a complete new window should appear.

  I have my system tell me when a new update is available. Happened today. I downloaded the latest update. My Firefox now sits at 38.0.1.

  I use no legs. I want a new separate window for all that I opened. Since the upgrade this morning... when I open a new window, it is fine. But when I click on something in that window when a new opens up and it doesn't seem to be an entirely new window. There is no tool bar and it doesn't seem to be a way to have displayed toolbars. So I have no control over this new window except to reduce to a minimum or nearby. That's all. It does not appear as a tab either.

  It sucks! This was?

  How to return to the previous version before upgrading this morning? Otherwise I'll have to find another application to use other than Firefox, because I don't like it at all.

  Another solution is to modify some hidden settings related to windows dialog style. Should not you make changes to the way you use Firefox, but sometimes you need to enlarge some small pop-up windows that have been sized for a window with no toolbar displayed.

  Here are the steps:

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste feat and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) for each preference that begins with dom.disable_window_open_feature. , if it is not 'true', double-click it to true.

  You may find that you prefer this anyway, given that sites can band is more these pop-up windows features.

• 12.4.1.6 update library went. !!

  has gotten sucked into updating iTunes to win... worm 12.4.1.6. big mistake...

  during the opening of library is empty... so I did the shift + open to select the file library... then my library file

  but when I open iTunes it shows all files, its still empty...  I have a drop down list of 'this computer' and the name of my NAS storage where my library is maintained, if I select that I have to wait while the library of my NAS 'CHARGES'... It's ridiculous...

  There must be something put in place incorrectly...

  and none of my podcasts, movies or TV shows also see the... {EDIT and my playlists are empty too}

  I tried to revert to a previous version that worked very well, but I get a message saying a "newer version" and it will not continue...

  This new update absolutely sucks. No single click to get the bookmarks bar. No button reload of the toolbar. Can't add empty spaces in the toolbar. A huge step backwards.

  In restaurateur for the classic theme options, check the box "hide obtained reload button. This will remove the button reload tiny and annoying to the address bar and you can add an appropriate size reload button to the left the same way, you move around buttons using firefox customize function.

  You've become as bad as google, update and change without valid reason, in a race down with yourself.

  I started using Firefox the whole reason is because it worked now after thousands of installs and convincing users to ditch IE, you become just as bad.

  I now restart Firefox a dozens of times per day on 3 machines I use on a daily basis. The memory requirements are staggering and FF is now SLOW.

  The first thing you say out of the box "you have too many Add ons", sorry, I only use one, noscript, and not even that on 2 of the three machines.

  Three tabs open and almost 600 000 K and using 1 to 12% CPU just to type this text.

  You don't have to bother with an answer, just clean up your mess. In the alternative, we all wait someone come and eat your lunch. Give me a browser that WORKS and I'll forget that Firefox ever existed.
