Sudden appearance of yellow arrows of swirly overlay icons in the Explorer of Windows 7
Today, almost all of my files and folders have a yellow swirly arrow overlay icon. I can't find this target icon anywhere online. In addition, almost all of my files and folders are moved to the 'in read only.' I changed them all back, but the rest yellow arrow icon so it doesn't seem to be linked.
You have installed a program such as Norton or Webroot backup?
These icons are generally indicators of the State of the files.

How to stop messages from Skype that suddenly appears on my screen when other people use my computer? using windows 8, but I can't control these messages (sometimes very) distracting to appear?
Hello
If you are allowing others to use the computer, set up a new account for each user. They would then not be able to display your desktop or Skype messages.

Re: Equium A200-15I - crack suddenly appeared on the screen
Hello
I bought a Toshiba Equium A200-15I laptop about 15 months ago, and I'm not sure that this is under any kind of warranty or not.
A few weeks ago I tried to turn on the laptop but a crack suddenly appeared on the screen and the screen has been damaged. It seems as if the crack is internal, because I can't feel anything on the surface of the screen.
I wonder how it is possible to know if the laptop is under warranty or not, and if not, if it is possible to fix the problem.
Thank you very much
KenHello
This guy s shame
I fear that this issue is not could be covered by warranty m.
These cracks may not appear without reason
I think that something touched the screen and led to this crackIn any case, you could simply ask a technician ASP in your country for details and the manipulation of the Fryer, but I doubt that the warranty would cover replacement.
Welcome them

So, what are these two arrows that appear on some files, such as page files in the Finder? I kinda afraid to hit one of them for fear that they're going to mess with the file.
Could you post a screen so that we know what you're talking about!

Sudden appearance of a number of records - look like some registry entries
In Windows Explorer/OS(C:), il est soudainement apparu sur 30 à 40 dossiers avec deles de noms de dossiers qui ressemblent à deles de entrées de registre.) Each of them up to 36 random characters (letters and numbers). Each folder is empty.
What do these? How are they here? How can I get rid of them?
These types of records are usually a remnant of the Windows Update process and can be deleted safely. (It is sometimes necessary to change the permissions). However, it is unusual to see so many many "suddenly appear."

Control bar of the unknown Volume suddenly appearing on desktop Dual-Boot computers.
Original title: 'Mystery' Volume Control Bar sudden appearance on desktop Dual-Boot computers.
Good day, community:
I'll do my best to make the question as concise as possible. This is a real new for me.
I dual-boot Windows 7 Pro & Windows 8.1 Pro on a 64-bit computer. Each operating system is on another HDD (mechanical). Yesterday, a control Volume unsourced bar began to appear on each of the separate workstations. On the DT of Win7, this bar is displayed in the lower right region and hovers over the SysTray speaker icon. On the DT 8.1 Win, it appears in the box to the upper left, similar to where the real system volume control appears when it is called. Each of these 'mystery ' control bars will appear - and then disappear for a period of time. Each control bar is flooded-out for the volume level of 100% and stays there. Right click shows no drop-down menu to display the properties. The control rods cannot be manipulated to adjust the volume levels. When I view the actual systems Volume mixer and attempt to manipulate the volume level bar will adjust briefly but then floods automatically save the level of 100%. I ran my anti-virus - full system scan - all readers - update Avast for free - and malware kit & root scan - MalwareBytes - but nothing does.
The following may provide a clue. The last program I have installed under the two O/S has been steam 'The Orange Box'. All components have been updated. I disabled the Steam Client to bootloader program in each operating system using msconfig/startup and restarted. The 'mystery ' Volume control bar continues to appear in the same areas described above. I intend to describe the same question on the steam Forum community. Thank you all for your time. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

New icon named "Office" suddenly appeared on my desk after update 13 Aug
Right now (August 13, 2014) after monthly automatic refresh of today, a new icon called simply 'Office' appeared on my desk. It wasn't a link to something else, but a text file that I hesitate to remove from the hand. The content of the file was/is:
[. ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21769
IconResource=%SystemRoot%\system32\imageres.dll,-183That is - what, why do I have it cluttering up my desktop? What happens if I delete just the thing?
Thank you.
Desktop.ini is one of these files which stores the information of software. I havebelieve the content of this file go to the place where, if the desktop folderIt appears in a window of the Explorer, it would have the desktop icon. (Ido not mean a shortcut, I want to say the icon of Windows 7, which represents thedesktop computer.)This file, marked as 'hidden' and 'system', is considered in several filesand is used to store settings file, like the one I described above. He has beendesigned to be used with Windows Explorer, then you probably would not seetoo often than other technical users.Your office is managed by Windows Explorer. It is clear from the Windows Explorerparameters and above your file management application settings areindependent, why you were probably confused about the part .ini.I think an update done probably a kind of maintenance thatnoticed something was a little off (in this case, the 'missing'Desktop.ini file) and thought he was doing the right thing by puttingit there, as I saw these files desktop.ini apparently randomly reappearfrom time to time (at least at times, when I had the hidden system files + showing). However, as I said above, I too ask how it happened all of a sudden there.
