  I have always used "Microsoft Picture It" to print my photos, however all of a sudden my printer (HPPhotosmart 7510) tells me I have the wrong size inside paper any size I have loaded in the printer.

  Thanks for the responses...  To correct the problem I deleted the program then recharged it and it works fine now.

  In the past, I was able to print with cartridge black new xl size, although all colors are empty city black photo.

  I have upgraded to OS to win 10 and my printer does not print with black ink only.  I ran a test and black ink appears here.  I print a few things ok in black only before having to make a reset in progress and had to reinstall a ton of programs and software.  No matter what I do with the properties, it will not be printed on the page and try to use colorful tanks that are empty.  It was never a problem before using win 7.  Please help ASAP!

  There are a few things to check:

  • Make sure the paper type is set to plain paper.  If Auto is selected and is confused with the Photo paper paper or photo paper is selected only the color and photo cartridges will be used.  (The pigmented black ink cartridge is not compatible with photo paper).
  • Define advanced settings for printing in grayscale, black ink only.  Otherwise, the printer may by default using inks from color for chart areas, since this offers a better print quality due to the smaller droplets of ink color.

• HP 4480 print with the color cartridge only.

  The all-in-one Deskjet printer copied a page and printed it happened to be all black text, and I did the copy without using the computer.  When I tried to do the same thing with the second page, only a small symbol of color in this page appeared on the paper.  I tried a new black cartridge, without result; the alignment sheet was only the blue rectangles and an arrow pink.  I tried to clean the printer heads and saw only the colored rectangles, not blacks, on the test page.

  There are a few spots on a page where the ink is gray instead of black, but everything is readable.  Maybe I soaked too long cartridge.

  Here I'd say work items on the colors bleeding into one another and any material to help get this resolved related.

  Typically, this can be solved by cleaning the print heads and contacts within the printer. Be careful when you perform these steps well and I would say following the guide carefully.

• 5510 - photos print in black/grayscale only

  Photosmart 5510 model B111A, product #CQ176A - photos do not print in color, everything else done.

  Print pictures of the net or other documents in color, prints hardships are good color.

  Off in grayscale, uninstalled and reinstalled driver, used doctor print but no color photo.

  Material works very well and of good quality.  There must be a switch/something selection part I don't see.

  I've attached another laptop to the printer, install the driver of all print and 5510 finest kind.

  Then of course, within parameters of Windows device something was wrong on the original PC.

  Found it changed the default values for color, photo, quality, paper, etc. to "custom" even after being selected and applied.

  Went to the top with color management, WCS and Gamut device must have been corrupted by the installation of some programs or a people person.  Managed to return to the default system and works perfectly.

  I still want to know what caused this in the coming days.

  Go to devices and printers and right click on printer properties then go to device settings and go almost all the way down to the type of device a color change and save the changes then go in the printer preferences and in the color tab, make sure that in its unaudited grayscale printing option

  I saw your post and I would like to offer my suggestion for the problem you are having with printing photos in color or black and white.

  First of all, to perform all the updates of Windows, select those optional too:

  Windows Update - ' do I need to check the updates?

  Try printing now, if the problem persists, try:

  1. uninstalling the printer software

  2. restart your PC

  3. Reinstall in 2 ways:

  (a) HP printer install wizard for Windows

  (b) HP Officejet Full Feature software and driver

  I made a photo album with full-colur and b & w photos for Offset print. I want to be for the b & w grayscale avoid the hues of colors possible. It seems that InDesign does not support the shades of gray, how images become dark. Even with export without any conversion of color or the destination and/or including profiles of original colors, the images are exported to obscurity as a PDF to grayscale.

  Yes, Photoshop & ID CMYK working spaces are the same

  This can become difficult because 3 programs manage proofing differently.

  Work spaces don't matter, document profiles that handle the preview. So here's the same image in grayscale, placed in the ID on the top and PS on the bottom. I put my info in Photoshop to display the profile of doc in the lower left corner. I can see the profile of my InDesign CMYK Document in my test format (CMYK work is different and is not used). The two profiles are actually the same coated FOGRA39 (Black Ink FOGRA in the case of the PS).

  But the previews do not match because I disabled, so the preview InDesign is Gamma 2.2 or a "screen" media preview overprinting.
