Reset your network settings.
Settings - general - reset - reset the network settings
Reset your device. This will not erase your data stored on the phone.
- Press and hold the sleep/wake button
- Press and hold the Home button
- Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.
Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings
If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.
Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.
As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo of iTunes on the screen of your device. After that on your computer, you should see the iTunes window saying that your device needs to be restored to factory settings. Click Restore.

iPad does not turn on/just the Apple logo and then turn off again
I have an iPad, 4th generation, 64 GB with WiFi and cell phone, it is only 3 years and suddenly I can't turn on the iPad. When he started to act up it would freeze upwards with no icons or the button "home" in response, still on the screen, that he was freezing. I was able to restart it with the top button and it would work for 10-15 minutes and freeze no icons or the button being sensitive at home. I could do a hard reboot and when I rebooted, it would work again for 5-15 minutes and freeze once more. This was during a week and now it does not restart. When I try to turn on with the button at the top of the Apple logo appears, remains on the screen for about 3-5 minutes (no progress bar) and turns off again with no other screen appearing. I tried to find a solution online without success. Anyone have any suggestions for a fix for the iPad? I would appreciate any ideas that anyone could have.
If the unit starts to turn back on the wide, then it seems that if you have a hardware problem. If the unit is charged and a reset will produce only a short period of service, then it is a hardware error or an error in battery, which would be also considered to be material. You can try to restore the device to factory and test without adding any additional content. If it still fails, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar watching him.

I just ran the last update for my iPad and now it just continuously reboots to the black screen with the Apple Logo. I left plugged in all night and still no change. Hard restarting does not help, neither do not connect the unit to aMacBookPro. When I do this, iTunes complains that it can not connect because the iPad 'expires '. Now it is disconnected, but I can't turn it off. Even close the lid will not extinguish it. Any ideas?
Try the following. It seems yo may have to let the battery drain is completely:
- iOS: do not respond or does not light
-Also try DFU mode recovery mode post-test
How to put iPod touch / iPhone in DFU "Karthik doodles."
-If failed and that you cannot completely turn completely the iOS device, leave the battery to drain completely. After loading a hour repeat the foregoing.
-Try a different cable
-Try on another computer
S ' there is still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at an Apple store Genius Bar is in order.

Suddenly icloud calendar does not load on my Lenovo PC. Has worked for months; iCloud contacts and photos both continue to operate. Any suggestions?
Hi scschwind,
I understand that you are having problems with your iCloud calendar on your Windows computer. Here is an article for you that will help you solve this problem:
Microsoft Windows (Microsoft Outlook)
After each step, check to see if the problem persists.
Check the system requirements
Make sure that your PC meets the system iCloud.
Check your Internet connection
- Try to go to www.apple.com. If you are unable to connect to the Internet, your iCloud calendars and events does not update in Outlook. Get help with your Internet connection.
- Try to open a secure Web site to your PC to see if you can access the ports 80 and 443. If the site does not open, you do not have access. Contact your ISP for help. Safari requires access to port 443 to push updates between iCloud and your devices.
Check your settings
ICloud opened for Windows and make sure that you are connected to the same iCloud account that you use on your other supported devices.
Update Outlook
If you have recently made changes in Outlook that are not updated on your other devices (or vice versa), click the Refresh button on Outlook.
Turn off iCloud calendar and turn it back on
- Close Outlook.
- ICloud opened for Windows.
- Uncheck the Mail, Contacts, calendars, & tasks and click on apply.
- Wait a few seconds. Select Mail, Contacts, calendars, & tasks and click on apply.
- Open Outlook.
Make sure that the Outlook Add-in iCloud is enabled in Outlook
In Outlook 2010 and later:
- Click on the file menu.
- Click Options in the left panel.
- Click on add-ins in the left panel of the window Options in Outlook.
- Look at the list of add-ins in the section Active Application Add-Ins.
- Select the Outlook Add-in iCloud.
In Outlook 2007:
- On the Tools menu, select Management Center.
- Select Add-ins in the left column.
- Look at the list of add-ins in the section Active Application Add-Ins.
- Select the Outlook Add-in iCloud.
Make sure that iCloud is not your default account in Outlook
- In Outlook 2010 and later, select file > Info > Account Settings > data files. If iCloud is listed as default account in the comments column, select another account and click on set as default.
- In Outlook 2007, select file > data file management > data files. If iCloud is listed as default account in the comments column, select another account and click on set as default.
Restart your computer
After you restart your computer, see if you solved the problem.
Find your calendar in Microsoft Outlook
- Make sure that the calendar is enabled in iCloud for Windows.
- Locate your data in the iCloud folder in Outlook. You can also view your data in deleted items in your Outlook folder list.
If you find your calendar data in the deleted items folder, it is not because iCloud deleted your data. When you turn on Mail, Contacts, calendars, & tasks in iCloud for Windows, iCloud copy your calendar for the default Outlook .pst file data in iCloud. Then iCloud removes the calendar of the .pst file data by placing it in the folder deleted in Outlook items. Calendar data then moves to the iCloud data set in Outlook so that iCloud can push data to and from Outlook.

When I woke up yesterday morning after charging my ipad I just couldn't turn my ipad until I plugged in the laptop... worked well
Yet once, I woke up this morning it's the same thing, but now all I see is a dim apple logo and it will turn back not... do not update AFAIK.
Does that mean and what should I do?
Try a forced reboot and see if that fixes it. Hold on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

by clicking on the apple logo, menus and check boxes do not work on the first click
Strange behavior from El Capitan OS X 10.11.1.
When I click on the Apple Logo, menus, and check boxes, the action does not stick.
To open the Apple Logo, the menu appears quickly but then folds upwards, as if I had not clicked. Pretty well, click on the third, the menu opens.
In the Finder, when I click on a menu like file, edit, or display, the menu appears, and then restores upward. Again, after three clicks in opens.
In Safari, on a page Web, clicking on a checkbox does not stick. I need to click three times. I when in Safari settings to clear the cache, I also checked the box to request the site "don't follow me." And even in the actual application of Safari, the box wouldn't fit. I clicked it three times before the box stuck.
Installation program:
iMac 24 - early 2008
4 GB
El Capitan 10.11.1
I changed the mouse, and this has solved the problem.
