  Hello once more I saw to face another question that I hope that Flash guru will be able to answer.

  I have a function that checks the two arrays and returns a Boolean value based on whether they match or not, then I have a conditional that maintains Boolean values. My problem is that if a solution is not in first position of my conditional table will cross and hit first the else statement so that it is not the right solution, at that time he treats like a no match. I need to find a way for her to go through the table first, find if something is found, then struck the conditional statements, not really sure how I can do this, any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

  Well okay, I got it working. Just change the flow of events to return another Boolean value, similar to my checkIfArraysMatch function and now it seems to work ok.

• How to get if THEN ELSE another condition table

  Hi eveybody,.
  I have a situation and I need your advice guys.
  I apply if THEN ELSE condition in PL/SQL from another table. I do the merger in tableA that will run IF Column1 in tableC = Y.
  Ex: Tablec has three columns: source, dest, condition. Condition IF = Y in tableC, then merge into tableA use (Sql query in table C source selection) B.
  
  Please let me know how to get the condition = Y of table C.
  Condition IF = Y for each source in C, then fusion will happen for this source.

The user is able to select an entry in the list and must insert it into the database. My problem is that because of the loop line, all values are inserted, even if they already exist.
  
  Do you know of a way I can find the value of each line before you perform the insertion. If the values of f05 and f03 exist jump the line and move forward?

• How take the sum of middle iteration last iteration?

  Hello! PLS, can anyone help, I have six variables and you want to take the sum of each of the variables separately from the middle of the iteration to the last iteration (i.e. iteration 6 iteration 12). Attached are the vi file and data entry.

  I won't mess with your design of control thingy... but here is the simple and direct way to the sum of the average in last interation.  I use random numbers here, but you can enter your own values once you get out your straigthend formula.

  Basically, it works like this: feed values into a tunnel of indexation.  Which will make each set of values in an array whose length N where N is the number of iterations.

  Find the array size and divide by 2.  Remember that arrays start at index zero, so 12 iterations will give you 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11.

  You want the second half, so it's 6,7,8,9,10 and 11.  Subset of the table to select 6 elements, starting with element 6... Then take the sum of table.

  I find that my table of conditions or re-rendering completely every time some specific controls are changed in the area of "info", for example checking a box or clicking on a calendar control (without picking up a date) in the area of information will cause the state table again, but change a text of entry in the region of information does not cause a new rendering.
  
  * I'm not aware of any reference to the user interface between the two regions, beyond the fact that they are all two contents on the same page. Specifically, I have a partialTrigger on the table, but it refers only to the other controls in its own region.
  * "new record" here means that, after making a few changes, my condition table will be redesigned with no line and a large size, then after a second or two drawn again with all these lines, designed for the actual number of lines. I don't know if it's the entire region, or only the table, redrawn.
  * All controls on the form 'info' have autoSubmit = true
  * The table 'products' is not visibly rerendered, it seems fine.
  
  Can someone point me to documentation describing which will cause a part of a page to be redrawn when the controls on other parts are changed, or technical to follow the rendering of debugging process?

  check the iterator binding in the PageDef file. If the iterator has its changeEventPolicy value 'ppr' then this is why the table updated.

• Question about the design of conditional text

  Posted in the wrong forum, post again here.

  I have a relatively important book (230 pages) with dozens of tables and 100 graphics. I need 4 versions of this book. One for each grade level (3) and the other if happy for all 3 grades is sold as a "master class".  Other than the implementation of conditional text, the book is ready to go. I tried two different ways to approach the tables under certain conditions (some of which are within blocks of text, some just anchored to a page) but I do not quite understand.  Application of conditional text tags (with different colors and markers for each) seems to crash (i.e. almost duplicatable unlike the grave 'normal' down 3-4 I feel daily last month that are just randomly). Sidenote: I was very happy to see that they will solve the crash of book printing...

  Reference markers are involved in these conditional sections, and I have my suspicions that they are guilty of the root of my other problems of crash, but then FM crashed when applying conditional text to a section that * don't * have a x - ref, so I don't know what to think.

  I need to get out Monday. So my question is, if I need 4 tables in one page (one for each version) I better just do 4 copies of the book and the compilation of this way? I sold the customer on FM mainly due to the ability to compile several book of basic documents... so, I really hate to have 4 copies when I give the source. I know that you can select rows in a table for a version (so I could do a very large table for 3 versions and simply choose different lines), but this is one thing that seems almost certain to make it crash as well.  And the paintings of masters have an extra column, but also a line so I still need 2 tables by doc so I could get the conditional statements to stop crashing. Is there a better way to 'design', which could suggest an experienced FMer? Some custom utility which works even if it isn't free?

  Well, it didn't crashed this morning when I put the x back references in the conditional table. Sent to fmerror with the steps for dupe.

  But on the mif wash. I've done it "manually" once a week now for the last two weeks. Can't say if it is to help, but it is always recommended, so I do. However, I was wondering if anyone had a recursive script that would do this automagically...

  Search mif washing (and variants) and nothing gets on the Adobe site. I figured out through a vague reference to an old thread where to find it and thought that I note for new users: If there is...

  Book MIF Wash is that a utility provided by Adobe that recursively traverses all the files in your book, opens, writes the .mif file then re-recorded this file to your FM - washing apparently file everything watered in your FM file. Manually, this process takes forever. And even if you see frequent references to: did you do a mifwash yet? "when someone has a problem, there is no documentation on what I found.

  It is a "sample" allowing Adobe script.

  Go whenever you have installed FrameMaker and navigate to the BookMIFWash folder or browse to the file BookComponentMIFWash.dll, which in my case was to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker11\Samples\ScriptsAndUtilities\BookMIFWash.

  Copy the file BookComponentMIFWash.dll in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\AdobeFrameMaker11\fminit.

  Restart the console.

  Then you will see that nothing has changed.  ;-)

  You must select the book with your mouse in the Document window, and then the menu item utilities book "dynamically" appears. Down there, you will find some MIF Wash book.

  I always pay attention to the warning to make sure that I have a copy of the entire project before running it. :-)

  Is it possibe to do a conditional table - or part of a table under condition, for example a line under condition or a column?

  I was a bit shocked when I read anchored objects obey conditional text (and spent some time contemplatin' wild ideas of how to (ab) use this trick). But the cells and rows in the table are another species of beastie as plain text.

  If you really positively need conditional rows in the table, divide the table into its separate parts, a table each: a vertex shared lines, a new table containing the lines of Condition 1, another Condition 2 lines, and one for shared background lines.

  With a little imagination, you could do the same for columns, but that becomes progressively more complicated, then I let you just understand that one out yourself

  It's perhaps easier (and certainly safer!) to stick to the lines and columns you have and condition all the text inside the cell.

  the above example works for probably most uses, but be aware that this will not create good number-format or date cell in Excel format.
  If you need to do more transactions in your data in Excel (example: PivotTables, sorting by date, adds,...) then it will probably not work for you.

  In this case, you should have a look at the Apache POI libraries.

  I have a .vi I try to write in Labview for a project that really caught me. Basically what I want to be able
  to do this is to calculate the distance using Pythagoras, receives a user ID selected dimensions (up to 20). This means rather

  Currently I'm at the stage where I can send an array of integers, where each represents what dimension use

  LabVIEW will make the primitive operations on tables.  For example, if you connect two one-dimensional arrays in add it primitive, it returns an array that contains and adding item by item entries.  This makes your pretty easy problem.  Instead of index individual points, index vectors of any situation and you want to know the distance between two points.  Subtract one from the other to get the differences.  Square vector resulting.  Use the sum of table to summarize, and then take the square root.  This approach dimensionnera with however many dimensions you want.

  I understand that the problem is 2 times. You will need to do a factorization of a number and then summarize these factors to see if adds the number of original, right?

  Therefore a loop, to quote and assistance from rest to build a table of factors (the input value must be staggered and recalculated when you find a factor), then do a sum of table and compare it to the value of the moose. Sounds fair? The perfect numbers should ofc build a picture of themselves, which is easily done in the external/next loop.

  For any number, just do an outer loop around the whole shebang and feed it with the meter of the loop. If the internal test is true, adds to the table and you will have a table with all perfect numbers.

  % ROWCOUNT SQL returns you the number of lines that returns the query "SELECT count (*) in v_count PRODUCT WHERE LOC = v_oldloc;

  In fact, the query returns a row with the value 0. This is why SQL ROWCOUNT % gives you 1 as output.

  Of course v_count is 0 because it is what is the result of the query.

  Both are expected results in your case.

  Hi all

  I have an existing map where I load data flatfile Hyperion Essbase 11.

  This is achieved in the 2 interfaces.

  1. 1 flat file, 1 table Oracle to Oracle (staging)

  2. oracle (Staging) to Hyperion Essbase

  I am currently working on interface 1 that has 2 sources: a flat file and an oracle with a join condition table and an oracle target. The change is the addition of 2 new columns. I added 2 new columns in the flat file. I added these 2 columns to the target oracle table also. I changed all the MILES that are:

  1. oracle to SQL file

  2. LKM SQL for Oracle

  3 control of the IKM SQL add - Mindstream - DataQuality - tests

  Diff of the target staging area is not checked.

  Data are not be fulfilled to target oracle table. I get the following error.

  Error: ODI-1228: data_V2 load TXT_ORA 7B (integration) task fails on the target of ORACLE ORA_HYPTEST connection.

  Caused by: java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00936: lack of expression

  I tested the connection in the scheme physical and is very well. I am able to see the structure of the table also under the mapping tab with which I think that I am connected to the target.

  Can you please open the step failed ODi operator and goto code tab and copy and paste the code into the SQl command prompt and run manually and see the same error message comes or not, if there is error coming on yesy interface map.
