Support cpu HP 630 A1E63EA #BED

HP 630 A1E63EA #BED Hi I own this laptop now with i3 370 m and I want to upgrade, if I want to be 100% sure, I can buy another processor, I have in mind perhaps i5 480 m. thanks for anser

You are the very welcome.

Well, you have the latest version of the BIOS that is good, and as I have already said, the chipset you have certainly supports the i5 - 480 M.

In theory, processor i5 - 480 M socket 988 (SLC27) should work.

But unfortunately, I can't confirm for you that it is 100% guaranteed.

It's because you know that your BIOS vF.38 contains the firmware to support the i5 - 480 M.

If this processor was not offered in your model by HP, it is possible that it does not work.

And that, I don't know.

    CPU replacement

Hello!  I replace the CPU in my HP P6310F.  According to this literature, http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01949155 , I have an AMD Phenom II X 4 Quad-Core 9xx/9xxe/8xx (Deneb).  My understanding has always been that "9xx" means any phenom II in the class of the 900 series.

I bought a retail Phenom II X 4 965 Black Edition, part HDZ965FBGMBOX number, installed and get the error message: CPU support is not installed message.  After searching and reading about the error message and other messages, it seems it might be due to the 'black edition' and/or because it is 125 watts.  It was the answer to a few others in the same situation as me.

Can you please tell me why this CPU is not compatible and please help me with a list of compatible CPU?

This is also in the 9xx series, but is it at 125W

    HDZ955FBK4DGM AMD Phenom II X processor 4 955 - Quad Core, 6 MB of Cache L3, 2 MB L2 Cache, 3.20 GHz, Socket AM3, 125W, fanless, OEM

This lies in the 9xx series and is 95W

AMD HDX945WFGIBOX Phenom II X 4 945 Quad Core Processor - 3.00 GHz, 6 MB of Cache, bus front to 2000 MHz (4000 MT/s), retail, Socket AM3, processor with fan

The stock processor is an AMD Athlon II X 4 630, 95W

I can provide any other information you may need, thank you very much!

There is no AMD Black Edition CPU that are compatible with any PC HP desktop.

That's what the problem is related to. Black Edition CPU are special processors who have discovered the multipliers for amateur quality motherboards. You could not access the multipliers to overclock the CPU with the motherboard you have installed it anyway.

Even if you choose, buy and install one of the microprocessors in maintenance & service Guide there is no guarantee HP which will be exploited.

You should also be aware that installing a different CPU than your office has been delivered with the warranty.

    Sorry to bear bad news.

The good news is that the processors listed in the maintenance department & guide reputable reports of upgrade in discussions in the forum, to run.

    Best regards
    ERICO

  • Support CPU Tecra M1

Hi all fans of Toshiba and the users of the forum.

I would like to get to know what are the processors supported for the Tecra M1 laptop computer product? Given that or what version of bios is required etc. It is a pity that the BIOS download page provides no further information on this subject.
I would be happy to receive all responses,

    Sincerely yours

    Jens

Basically, the upgrade of the processor is very limited. If you are installing a processor that does not recognize the BIOS, the CPU cannot operate at full speed or it does not start, or it may cause damage or overheating.
Your best option would be to look at other Tecra M1 models and determine that we have the fastest CPU. That the exact CPU should work in your M1 with the latest version of the BIOS.

In addition, I found this page on the Toshiba site, explaining the upgrades: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/FAQ7A01ZW0007R01.htm

  • Presario CQ5320F: upgrade the processor 'not supported CPU.

I was looking to upgrade the CPU on my Presario CQ5320F, for most popular processors in the list on the HP site for my computer. Thank you for giving me the answer. I guess it's time to look for a new motherboard now.

No doubt, it would be nice if someone let HP know this, so people like me would not try to use this processor with the motherboard.

Like chris said there is no way to upgrade CPU. You can upgrade the RAM. The maximum memory for your laptop model is 512 MB.

  • Satellite A500-1GH - what this laptop supports CPU load

    Hello everyone.

Does anyone know which processor is supported for this laptop?
I mean the exact models because I know what Intel I5 installed.

Or maybe if you know the best processor that can be installed in this laptop.
Are there documents for this laptop because I can not find the drivers in the toshiba site?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    The laptop supports the * Intel (R) Core i5-430 M * processor
All details can be found on the page of Intel:
    http://www.Intel.com/consumer/products/processors/Corei5-specs.htm

    > Or maybe if you know the best processor that can be installed in this laptop.
    > Here are all the documents for this laptop because I can not find the drivers in the toshiba site?

Usually the CPU upgrade not is not supported by Toshiba... but if you use the CPU of the same family of CPU (i5 - 520 M, i5 - 540 M), then you should have a good chance that the laptop would be compatible with this CPU... but I would not recommend these updates.

    Why?
    (1) you will not see any performance gain
    (2) you will lose the warranty

  • Support CPU LAHF/SAHF in Long Mode

    Hi guys,.

I try to install esxi on a HP DL380 G4 5 (I know its probably not supported, but it's just for learning). When I run through the installation program, the message I get is:

the system has found a problem on your machine and cannot continue. VMware ESXi cannot run this processor. VMware ESXi requires a 64-bit processor with support for LAHF/SAHF in long Mode.

So I tried to install ESX 4 on this machine that I was sure there 64 Bit CPU. ESX 4 successfully installed which means the processor is capable of 64-bit.

Any ideas how I can get this to work?

    Thank you

    DrYv

DL380/DL360 G4 models have XEON 64-bit processors. However, these processors do not support Intel VT as well as other features of the new generations of processors. Also, I have some of these models in my lab and run ESXi 4.1 on them (with guests from 32-bit only). Looks like that ESXi 5 requirements that cannot be met by these XEON Processors however. BTW. the last supported version of ESX (i) for G4 models was ESX (i) 3.5

  • FT on the non supported CPU

Is it possible to activate CVS on a host in a cluster has no a taken CPU supported by changing masks CPU? This is a laboratory, not a production system. All hosts are the exact same processor brand/model/no no, but CVS does not illuminate because it correctly detects the CPU. The custom mask CPU thing works for CVS?

VCA is not related to FT.

Both methods require certain characteristics of the processor, but they are different.

VCA is only for VMotion 'friendly' on the model of different processor (but in the same family Intel or AMD).

If your hardware does not support CVS, you can always do it manually using CPUID mask on each virtual machine (see VMware KB).

FT is to have a virtual machine in waiting that is synchronized with a computer master virtual and ready to run if the ESX hosts the primary fails.

    My questions:

What is the support policy for the series CPU?

It will support "AMD Opteron 2380' who of the same series as"Quad - core AMD Opteron 2384 "?

    Thank you

As long as processors are in the same series, which you seem to be (series 23xx), they will be compatible VMotion.  And, as I said before, if you use at least 2 update, you can use CVS to ensure that they are compatible, by setting the CVS for AMD processors.

Just noticed that you ask if you can use the 2380 place the 2384.  This should not be a problem.

  • Portege 7010CT: max capacity HARD disk support + CPU

    Hello
Since I am a student I can't afford a new laptop (unfortunately) so I have to use my old 7010... That's why I think a small update... a bigger HARD drive (used)... But I cannot find anywhere the maximum size HARD drive for the 7010 - everyone knows, or experience with the largest drives that small 4.3?

Also - is it possible to change the CPU with a faster mobile P2?

    Any help would be GREAT

    Hello

I put really t exactly know the limit of the capacity of the HARD drive used on Portege 7010but, I'm sure you can use hard drives up to 10 or even 20 GB with no problems. Unfortunately only service partner or a buyer of HARD drive have precise information on this subject. They are specialized for the hardware upgrade and jut, they can give you a guarantee that the HARD drive is recognized properly by the BIOS.

With CPU is the problem because most of them cannot be changed at all.

    Good bye

  • Supported CPU upgrade BIOS

Hello... we have an approx. 5 years dv6 - 1253cl laptop that I updated to 8 GB of memory, new SDS, new card USB 3.0. then what I would do is replace the stock Intel P7550 processor with the Intel T9xxx or a series of P9xxx Intel.  The repair, the Board of Directors of system/chipset will support until the T9900 @ TDP = 35W and P8800 @ TDP = 25W.  My question is: can I go beyond the P8xxx P9xxx (e.g., P9700) even if this series is not specifically referred in the manual?  Others have successfully swapped P7xxx for T9xxx processors on this particular model, but I tend to keep close to the TDP stock Plug and P-series.  Is this possible?  Thanks in advance for all advice.

The motherboard used in the P7xxx (i.e. your motherboard) is the same as the motherboard used in these models with the T9900. I understand you want to keep the current absorbed as low as possible, but HP means generally what it says when it contains a list of compatible processors. I frankly never saw a case where someone shows the installation of a series of different processor rather than just a slightly faster processor in the same series. The T9900 is a beast and I am pretty sure that it will work for you. You lose a battery life but will gain some performance. Your Service Manual:

  • error mess. No supported cpu and the computer turns off

I have a hp p6210y.  I took my computer and looked at herself, and the guy told me that my motherboard was likely bad.  He told m that the motherboard of the computer are bad and he advised to do not to buy a new one because it will go as bad.  My motherboard is a pegatron m2n78 - la.  It has an AMD athlon ii 620 quad-core. Well, I found one on ebay for about $100.  After that I put the new one where said pegatron m2n78 - la on it like that old one does.  I did put in the new processor.  The only different thing I noticed was as soon as I put on it instead of hp compaq said.  I'm a noob to all this.  The first I guys I listened to said that it was the hard drive and it has not fixed this is why I had in the type of computer and started to do myself.  Its been a learning experience for me if I look at the positive side of everything.  But now I have an extra hard drive new (seagate sv35.5 500 GB) sitting on my desk. Do I have to get a power cord with it also. I have the sata cable or whatever.  or I can run 2 hard drive at the same time.  Thank you very much

FYI... simply because the replacement motherboard has "M2N78 - LA" printed on it, does not mean that it is the same as your original plate. HP has a least 4 different motherboards all models "M2N78 - LA" but named Viola, Violet, Violet3 and Violet6. These motherboards can support different processors, socket, extension and ports of i/o slots back.

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion p6210y and its M2N78-(purple) motherboard. Please make sure that the motherboard is good. Given that HP sells computers under the names of the HP and Compaq, you may see Compaq or HP screens 'splash' at the start of the brand. Although this should not affect the operation of the computer, the lack of good 'tattoo' can prevent you from using your recovery disks.

    Please send Bravo
