Support for Firefox browser
Hi all
When I publish and run my classes, they work fine in Firefox, but I get this message saying that the Firefox browser is not supported:
I noticed a few people here report the same thing, but I can't find an answer - is there a way to hide this message of warning to users, as it seems to be redundant?
See you soon,.
Kevin
If you Captivate 8, Firefox, version at the time of release not supported. If it works for you, great! Captivate 9 supports Firefox.

Abandoned Downlaods and support for Firefox 4.0 - 5.0. Why?
Why Mozilla interrupted downloads and support for latest versions prior to 8.0? Imagine my surprise when 8.0 was automatically installed, and found out that not only the Google toolbar was disabled, but other plug-ins and extensions were more consistent. To restore my previous settings of the browser, I had to downgrade way back to 3.6.24 version - and then also had to find compatible themes prior to use! You people really know how to throw the users in free fall! I didn't even know there was a new version. And how can I disable the automatic updates?
You can actually return to the 7.0.1 version (which I assume you had). I know many users who have done and is happier with Firefox 7. However, because Firefox 8 took care of some safety and security vulnerabilities, compared to its predecessor, they recommend to have later.
Personally, I've been happier with Firefox 7 so, but I'm still using Firefox 8 so I can try to resolve some problems and to report. My main problem with Firefox 8 is that it is slower on many sites, including my Hotmail email.
In any case, fear I digress from the subject, I compiled a list of old versions of Firefox official on this Review of Firefox web page allowing you to download Firefox 7.0.1.

What is the date of end of support for Firefox version 19?
I wish to confirm the date of end of support for version 19, February 2013?
Security updates support ends when the next version of Firefox is released, so while Firefox 20 was released 6 weeks ago and 21 Firefox will be available Tuesday, May 14, that means that Firefox 19 is is no longer officially supported.
I see that you are still running Firefox 17.
Is there a special reason why you don't have not updated to the current version?
The version of Firefox Firefox 17 that you are currently running is no longer compatible with security updates
Please upgrade to the latest version of Firefox 20.0.x.

Access to the website was OK until I upgraded to Firefox 8 which works well with other sites I visit regularly.
Thank you. It is a financial institution. I can contact them to check on the plans in support of version 8. In the meantime, I use IE on this site. Of course liked the look and feel of FF better V3.

EBook-EB720 supports a Firefox browser?
bought the above ebook reader. you want to read some Articles with a browser. Research through Mozilla I don't see that there is a browser of the foregoing. Are there?
The RK27xx I know has been used more for PMP players (not to mention than chipsets SC9800/SC8600/F16) before the craze of smart PMP (4.3 - 5.0 "form PMP with Android but no wifi) and tablets was born and has pushed the PMP production far.
Even if not, there is Android 2.1. + I would say he wouldn't the mobile Firefox because is is not a type of cpu ARMv7.

Updated Firefox 22 to 23 Firefox and now I Bing as my browser. I want Google as my browser. How to set Google as my browser on Firefox start page.
I'm back and I solved the problem myself. That's what you have to do... (1) type in the search "topic: config ' and click 'ok' when warning is displayed; (type 2) to the research "browsers.search.selectedEngine" 3) now right-click on "browers.search.selectedEngine" and choose in the menu 'new' and now, choose "string" and just write 'Google' and click on 'ok '. She and your done. Now I have my trusty Google back as well as you. I was a little afraid at the beginning because I know if I make a mistake I would have maybe reinstall Firefox but everything worked very well and is very easy to do. Just make sure that you re - check before you click on 'ok '.

Hello
I bought a new laptop dv7 HP Envy with Windows 8. Problem I have is also about Firefox. I actually use SeaMonkey and the problems first noticed. Firefox and SeaMonkey are the latest versions (and I've tried both in safe mode - disable all add-ons) and the problem is that both are interminably slow.
Loading www.google.co.uk doesn't take any time at all the
Loading UK.Yahoo.com takes at least 12 seconds
Loading www.bbc.co.uk takes at least 180 minutes and many pages who loved also take more than 3 minutes to load. In the meantime, my laptop is practically unusable.
Has anyone encountered this?
I used Opera, Safari and IE and they work as expected, but the two FF and SeaMonkey hang. I posted this on a forum of Mozilla as well. But I use SeaMonkey on a new Samsung laptop, running W8 so think it must be a specific problem of HP.
It is closed but don't know how it was resolved. I had to do a reinstall factory as I had no access to internet, no software AV etc so a clean W8 and a clean install of Firefox and SeaMonkey and all installation is running.

To work around this problem, you can also try using the User Agent Switcher add-on to give the impression that you are using IE on the site.
You can contact the site owner to inform them of their poor support for Firefox.
Alternatively, you can report a broken help site.
