Support of size moniter

Hello

I have Compaq Presario SR1030IL Intel 845 graphics controller have desktop PCs.

Recently my monitor (17 '' Compaq 7500 CRT) began to malfunction, and the dealer told me to change, so I think to get a new screen, prefrebly wide LCD TFT screen.

I wanted to know up to what size monitor my PC can support, I think that there will be limitations in size due to the former graphics controller (Intel 845).

What may be potential if I'm bad monitor size or oversized problems?

Please help me to choose the right size moniter.

Thnaks and regards.

Bigger monitor means higher resolution more details/viewing area. It affects images / second when play games making gpu intensive tasks such watch content high definition.

In my opinion, from a 17 "LCD (1280 x 1024) to a 19" (1440 x 900) must run on the same performance wise. Depends on what the pc is used for. For use daily/normal/off base shouldn't you have any problems.

You can use customized with the 7510 paper sizes, but you must use another driver to do it. Follow the steps in the post below the link for your operating system. With the help of the other driver should get the custom print size to work. Hope that helps.

Is there a maximum size of disk HARD internally for a Satellite Pro A120?
I tried a 320 HDD int Tosh and had problems with continuous boot.

I have the BIOS update (March 08)

    > Is there a maximum size of disk HARD internally for a Satellite Pro A120
    Yes, I think so.
The BIOS doesn't support all sizes of HARD drive!

In my opinion, teething problems are associated with the large size of HARD drive and advise to use a smaller HARD drive.

  • What is a maximum size of HDD for Satellite Pro 2100?

I want to improve my aging Satellite Pro 2100 (PS210E-00C3G-GR) with a new hard drive. The BIOS supports more than 120 GB drives?
    Thanks in advance!

Hmm. 120 GB HARD DRIVE? I don t think so. But this is only my personal opinion.
To my knowledge, the Pro 2100 was equipped with 30 GB HARD drive.

I think that the 60GB is a realistic size and could be seen by the BIOS.

In any case, I didn't find any official Toshiba information support max sizes of HARD drive and I imagine that you must test the HARD drive.

  • Duplex printing legal size paper Officejet Pro 7680

I need to print the duplex of legal-size Publisher document.  I understand that my printer duplex setting doesn't support legal size paper... y at - there a way to change this, or a product that made HP or another printer that would be recommended?  I have to print several copies once a week if you need something automatic rather than printing on one side and then manually feeding to the next part.  Thank you.

Thank you for your response and the sharing of this information and/or document, which confirms the legal paper size cannot be used for printing with the auto duplexer.

I'm sorry, but it will take maybe use the manual duplex option or go to another product tailored to your needs.

  • OfficeJet 100: Officejet 100 print legal size paper?

    Hello

I hope that there could be a solution for this. Several users here have a problem with their printers Officejet 100 legal-size paper printing. Below is part of an email I received about this which explains it better that I could.

«Apparently some of the reps there have problems printing their contracts of legal size on their mobile printers HP Officejet 100.» It's happened for quite a while. The printer recognizes the document as the legal document, but printing is disabled: it begins printing in the middle of the image.

VRP have found a solution: they must go to the printer properties and choose explicitly legal paper in the drop size. It is already selected by default, but if they select manually it will print correctly. The problem is that: 1) it is a manual workaround, they must do so for EACH print, and 2) they frequently forget and have to reprint. »

They have already tried to install latest print drivers, but that has not helped. Printers seem to operate normally except for this. What could be the cause of this?

    Thank you.

    Hi @chris_hansen,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I noticed that you can not print on legal paper with your HP Officejet 100 on Windows 7. I'm happy to help you!

Hey @Patbrew, welcome to the Forums of HP! I'd love to help you with the paper size of your client

Please follow the following steps and let me know the results of your efforts.

Step 1: Create the new custom paper size

To set the new custom paper size, create the new size of the printer software.

    1. Go to the control panel and open devices and printers, printers or printers and faxes.

    2. Click on your printer icon, and then click Properties in the print server.

Figure: Location of the print server properties

      NOTE:

If the properties of the print server does not appear, right click on an empty area in the Printers window, select run as administrator from the menu drop-down, then selectServer properties.

    3. If the user account control window opens, click on continue.

    4. On the Forms tab, select Create a new form check box, and then type a name for the new format of paper in the name of the form.

Figure: Forms tab in the properties of the print server

      1. Create a new form

      2. Name of the form

    5. Select metric or English, and then type the dimensions for your custom paper in the width and height text boxes.

Figure: Forms tab in the properties of the print server

      1. Metric or English

      2. Width and height

      NOTE:

Let the printer area margins set at 0.00.

    6. Click on save the form, and then click OK or close.

    NOTE:

Supported paper sizes vary depending on the printer. If you enter the dimensions custom that your printer does not support, the new custom paper size does not appear when you try to print. Check the specifications of the printer for your printer for more information on supported paper sizes.

Step 2: Select the new format of custom in the printer software paper

To begin to print on custom paper size, select the new size of the printer software.

    1. In the printers and devices window that you opened in the previous step, right-click on your printer icon, then selectPrinting preferences.

    2. On the paper/quality tab, click Advanced.

    3. In paper size, select the name of the new custom paper size.

Figure: Paper size with the new selected custom paper size

    4. Click OK.

The custom paper size is now default paper for all printing on your computer. You can change the default paper size back to the printing options and selecting the desired size.

  • HP Laserjet M401A: HP Laserjet M401A not will mark the different paper size and tray on the printer properties

    Hello all.

I have a custom paper size in question and the plateau in the properties of this printer.

I would like to implement three different printers on the same port, to print directly on a specific tray (without going into the properties of the printer and select the appropriate tray and size).

I have this printer with the additional third tray.

I implemented the A4 in the Tray 1 (bypass), a custom size in tray 2 and 3 on the printer.

When I enter the printer PROPERTIES I want to set up the paper size in tray 2 and 3 value. No question.

The only sizes I see is 13 x 8, a4, a5, letter, legal and so on (there are choices may 7).

    So, I choose NON SPECIFIC.

When I go to printer PREFERENCES, I can set up my custom paper size.

But when I choose my custom paper size, tray 2 and 3 go away and I can choose only bypass or Tray 1.

If I attributed to A5 (for example) the tray 2 and 3 re - appear.

How is that possible? where I'm wrong?

Thank you very much, any help would be appreciated.

    See you soon,.

    Luca.

    Hi Luca,

That is expected, custom paper sizes are supported only on tray 1.

Tray 2 and 3 are supported specific sizes of paper.

You my find graphics of the following as a reference, it lists a paaper supported size for each tray:

  • Printer HP Officejet Pro 8100 & custom paper sizes

Found all useful instructions on creating new formats of paper custom in Windows 7. But am complete novice & need to buy a printer for a charity. Installs on this model because of good reviews, but more work will be 1 document of custom paper size. Need to know if the instructions are foolproof! (Before spending their money.)

    Hello invqn,

After some detailed research, as well as installing the Pro 8100 (and other products) on a Windows 7 system, we determined the 8100 Pro does not support custom sizes: this is by design and intent.

Note that one of our engineers proposes to use a different set of drivers (from an older device) as a possible workaround, but it is not proven and could be used to limit your overall functionality of the device.

However, we have confirmed that a newer device which is currently, the HP Officejet Pro 8610 (8620 or 8630) e-all-in-one, supports the formats customized; Here is the multifunctional printers.

By following the instructions in the link you sent, you can create new forms with custom formats and it will be displayed in the properties of the printer to get a job / select. It supports custom formats of 3,00 x 8.50 x 14.00 5.00 in. in.

Our intention is only to provide information about what we know; you could take a moment and perhaps see if a representative Marketing HP might be able to give you more information, but that's what we have.

    We hope this helps...
