  • List of function not supported in Android

    Hello

Is there a complete list and Update of features not supported on Android devices?

Just did a rendition of 'test' for Android 10' of the iPad articles and, as expected, not all of the features and tricks work. I knew that would happen... I was wondering if there is a guide "do not do" for Android.

    Thank you!

  • problem with support in android market

    Hi, I have a question.

My TPT in the Android Market does not support several applications, for example, 9 mm, Asphalt6, NFS... is this normal? Because it works at least performance machines. And when I tried to play 9mm, so it worked.

    Papousek,

This is due to the game developers do not support TPT.

  • Support for Android Smartphone

    Hello

    With regard to this documentation:

Digital Publishing Suite help | Implementation of "renditions" to viewers Android native

in the configuration section of your application for improved "rendition":

"If you don't support the phone, for example, publish a special report that tells users that the application is not available on this type of device.

From a UX perspective, this isn't a great workaround, the user sees the app on Google game, download, provided that the content is in the application, download the folio (for which an editor is charged 21 c probably) gets disappointed and potentially leave a bad review such as "downloaded on my Samsung Galaxy S5, no content. etc etc.

Is not a better way to set the support enforcement at the level of the game of Google by unchecking the smartphone devices that appear in the list?

And if so, does anyone have a list of smartphone devices in this list?

    Screen Shot 2014-07-24 at 11.40.53 am.png

There are almost 5 000 devices in this list. Try to uncheck all the ones Smartphone is a losing battle

The subject of support for advanced rendering covers a case of use very, very, narrow where a handful of people don't want their content visible on a phone. The reality is that the native Android Viewer is quite capable of folios of Tablet size display on phones. The content will scale down and with our pinch and zoom support readers can zoom in to read the content. This is not an unusual experience for phone users, there are in many other applications as well.

For the vast majority of our customers, the correct approach (if you don't want a custom picture size phone) is to publish a folio for the Android tablets which is then displayed on the tablets and phones and ignore the advanced feature of rendering completely.

  • Android phone/tablet support

    Hello

I still see a lot a questions in the forum about the lack of support for the Capture of the Android (Dec 4/2015 version) on many Android devices. I also fall into this category; two of the aircraft recently, I've tried are not supported. Both are older devices but support Android 4.4 +: Samsung Galaxy S2 (phone) and Samsung Galaxy Tab TM320 (tablet - released Jan/2014). I waited for the Capture of Android since see the Applet version (apps and coll. of form and color, to the previous address), including since watching demonstrations of JKost at Photoshop World. Finally, this application is available on Android, but unfortunately the support appears to be quite limited. In addition, there seems to be none * list * of the supported devices. Other than buying one of the last flagship of Samsung phones it seems no possible to determine initially if a particular phone/tablet is actually supported - unless we're actually trying to install the app from the store to play directly on the device in question.

Where can I find a complete list of supported Android devices for the latest version of Adobe Capture CC?

    Thank you.

    Hi ColdForest,

Capture is not yet supported on Android tablets and even if Capture is supported on devices from Samsung, I think that the problem with your Samsung phone, is that the device is older (an engineer is check on this for me).

Unfortunately, we do not have a list of devices anywhere; because there is so much, I also have to check every time someone asks a question about a I'm not familiar with.

I know that this response is not super helpful, but we focus on having Android tablet support mid-2016.

    Sue.

  • How serious is the lack of AIR to the x 86 Android devices support?

I want to know if I understand this right, and what are the implications.

I understand that some Android devices, especially those with x 86 processors (like Samsung Tab 3) cannot run applications built with air, or at least extremely slowly run them to the point of being useless.

    First, is it true?

Second, what are the implications? If a segment of users in the Google game cannot correctly run applications, we build for Android, it's almost an argument to not build Android apps at all, given that these users will give very bad reviews - and in all cases, we will end up with a percentage of users Android being extremely unhappy about the app and complain.

Can someone tell me if I understand the situation, and what is the current assessment of the seriousness of the problem?

Amazing news! x 86 supported devices!
