supports matshita dvd - ram uj-850 s NOT recognized, Mats_run.dvd cancel installation of PowerShell

Updates in security plague devices on my Toshiba Satellite? Matshita dvd - ram uj-850 s can notrecognize the media .  I tried to run Mats_run.dvd.exe and it cancels the installation of PowerShell and said run again later.  I checked the registry for PowerShell and he's not here.

Updates are downloaded automatically but are installed manually. Microsoft.NET Framework 3.0 is installed.  There are 2 hard drives usb, e and h. The internal hard drive is c and the dvd drive is d.

I downloaded PowerShell for English x 86, and it also cancels the installation.  This facility will write on e drive unless the e reader is currently offline.  It seems to me that installation should go in one of the program files. No matter what.

I heard Japanese factories to boost productivity by having models of foremen (also known under the name of straw bosses) in the break for whacking room. MicroSoft is expected to provide a game that allows you to the storm of MicroSoft when you feel frustrated. Laugh for everyone.

I tried the registry filter entries delete and it does not correct.

The drive reads some DVD.  The one I use is readable on other computers and was burned at the origin of it. This drive is able to read the DVD right here.

DVD with files on them are not read.

I cleaned the drive with a DVD-rom cleaner.

Audio_TS, Video_TS structure is recognized on a DVD so that the reader is able to read the DVD.  It seems to be a Windows problem.

Combustion works very well.

Hey, Arch.

I suggest uninstalling the drive in Device Manager and restart the computer.

If this does not help, you can try to uninstall all your computer disc burning software, if you have the means to reinstall, and then reinstall the drive.

The Powershell do not install cannot be bound.

I suggest to run a full system scan after you have updated the antivirus definitions.

  • Logical disk partition not recognized in the New Installation of Windows

Hello.  I would appreciate someone to give me any advice.  I don't know if the problem I encounter is an oversight on my part, but it was not something that I anticipated.

To give a bit of background, until last week, I was running a Windows 7 system on my computer which included three hard drives (4 TB, 2 TB, and a smaller disk).  The 4 TB drive included my boot drive with Windows on a partition of 2 TB and then the unallocated space has been transformed into a new partition in disk management, received the drive letter G and was used for long term backup of data.

Since then, I built a new computer and installed a new version of Windows 7 on a small SSD.  During this process, I have not all disks connected to the machine (except the DVD player) so that there is no possibility of installation of Windows, do something for these readers I didn't (I got burned by this time long ago when you reinstall Windows 95, which makes me just feel old).  After the whole installation process was performed and the new version of Windows has been working well, I opened the machine and plugged the drive 4 TB and 2 TB, assuming that Windows did not recognize them when I started.

When I started in Windows, Windows does indeed recognize the two drives and assign drive letters.  But in the case of the car of 4 TB, he acknowledges that the partition containing my old boot drive.  No drive letter is assigned to the secondary partition.  When I go to disk management, it shows all of the remaining spaces as unallocated space, but seems not yet quite recognize space completely in the way he would if I'd created directly.  For example, if I right click in that box, I don't get the normal options to create a new Simple Volume.  Everything on this menu is grayed out except properties and help.

So I guess I have two questions.  (Leaving aside the possibility of a hardware problem), was I wrong to assume that a hard drive divided into two partitions could be transferred from a Windows machine to another?  I honestly thought that no matter where no matter what Windows 7 machine would recognize the two drives, but maybe I'm missing something fundamental.

Two and more important still, there advice for access to the data on this drive?

    Hello

A problem that could happen is that the disk partition has security setting so that the profile of the user that created it would be able to access it, and seeing that you are trying to access from a new profile may not not allow you to access

To access these files, you can try to boot from the old hard drive manually to change the setting of the partition or simply manually move the files and delete the partition.

To start from the old disk hard restart have the hard drive is plugged in, restart the computer and while it is booting F12 key to select the boot device, after that, select the old hard disk and access them normally.

    hope this has helped.

my laptop has a MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-850 s ATA Device. but it does not open a cd/dvd. Why?

    Hello

1 recently, you did changes to the computer?

Method 1. Uninstall and reinstall the cd - dvd drive.

If the drive is not listed, remove and reinstall the existing drivers.
To do this, follow these steps:
    a. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
    b. click System and Maintenance, click System and then click on Device Manager.
Note that if control panel is in Classic view, double-click System and then click on Device Manager.
    c. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
    d. in Device Manager, expand CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives, right click on the device CD and DVD and then click on uninstall.
    e. When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK and restart the computer.
After the computer restarts, the drivers will be installed automatically.

Method 2. The firmware was updated.
I would also recommend updating the firmware of the CD - DVD drive.
You may need to contact the manufacturer for it.

    I hope this helps.

  • This device cannot start. (Code 10). Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-850 s ATA device not found.

The operating system does not detect the Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-850 s ATA device on my Toshiba Satellite. I tried Microsoft Auto difficulty and it didn't fix it. The CD player worked last week when I installed ITunes software. Now, the driver cannot be detected. Known corrections or suggestions?

You must uninstall, then reboot and let the program installation is the device when it restarts. If the correct drivers are found, it will install. In case of failure, it's probably because Search Setup default is files of the user and not the C:\windows\inf or directories c:\windows\system32\drivers\, which you can specify by choosing to install from a list or specific location, and then by typing or by going to the it. If this fails, check the bios settings.  But most likely your original driver was silently replaced, by a program system file or a third-party application. If need be, you can try a system restore to return the parameters of your system to a point in time where everything worked. I would try one more point to restore and not a newer version, preferably a restore point launched machine, not one caused by installing or removing a program or a driver. • Matshita DVD RAM UJ850s ATA optical drive will not read burned media, running Vista

    * original title - CD/DVD unit read not "burned" cd *.

Hi, there are about 6 weeks, I had to do a recovery because a virus in my PC, the problem is that now the optical unit reads no CD, it reads 'original' CD, DVD (original and burned) but not burned CD specially those who have programs on them, could be a driver problem, but so far I have not been able to solve the problem , and I m not sure the original driver are in Sony's site, or any other Web site.

PS the thing Burns CD and they can be read after that that they were "closed".

I have a VAIO VGN-N330FH, running Vista Home Basic 32 bit (Spanish), the model is a Matshita DVD RAM UJ850s ATA Device.

    Hello

You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
    correctly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

Brand of the CD or DVD drive can also be the problem. Low quality (cheap brands) are always problematic.

CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the edge outside these discs
tolerances. They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

    ===========================================

This troubleshooting could not help if there is alignment and/or wear issues however it
    a shot.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

  • Equium A200-1V0: DVD-RAM UJ-850 s does not read data discs

My laptop seems to have decided to stop reading data disks.
However, there is no problem with the audio CD, but when I insert a data disc such as the software considers the disk is empty and try to format the drive.
I searched internet day for solutions and tried without success to the following:

Removed the UpperFilters and LowerFilters in the registry.
    Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers.
    Bought DriverWhiz (waste of money!)
Tried to access disc command prompt that generated the message "incorrect function".
Tried to use the enforcement function and access an exe file that I know is on the disk, but it comes up saying I need to format the drive
    Uninstall service packs
I even thought it might be something to do with the MagicVirtual drive I had installed so I uninstalled completely which
    I uninstalled real player

I'm about 3 minutes to destroy my laptop so any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

I have a Satellite L30-105 (PSL33E) with windows Vista. Windows Vista does not recognize the DVD - ram. BIOS recognize DVD-ram. I tried to download the drivers for the DVD-ram, but they are not on the side of Toshiba.

Who can help me to get the right driver or learn more? Problems with the carpet * a DVD-ram uj-850 s ATA device and windows Vista.

    Hello

The CD/DVD drive needs no special drivers!
Vista includes a Microsoft driver that works with all CURIOUS s (CD/DVD drives)

Simply said, the Vista should recognize the drive without any problems.

A few questions; did you get any error messages? What is the status of Device Manager? Do you see yellow exclamation points?

There is an old way to correct a similar drive problem. It worked on XP then try it on Vista OS.
It of necessary to update the registry entry
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    1. click on the start menu.
    2. If it is a Vista machine in the search box type regedit without quotes.
    3. look for the registry key mentioned above.
    4. in the right panel you'll see something along the lines of UpperFilter and UpperFilter you want to click on each key filter and tap on delete. Click Yes when asked to confirm if you want to delete the key.
    5. restart Windows.
6 let me know if it works.

  • Satellite A100-011 with Vista: DVD-ram UJ-850 s can not burn DVDs dual layer

    Hello

cannot find answers to my problem, so start a new topic.
    Having Satellite A100-011 with Vista preinstalled and Mat * a DVD - RAM UJ-850 s (firmware 1.10).

Recently installed Nero 7.5.9 and you want to burn DVD (6, 5 GB) media dual layer (Immation - Ritek).

First time Nero stopped with information: could not perform start of Disc At Once (without damaging the media).
After that, run Nero as Windows XP - SP2 program and burn half the disc (first layer), but when to start to burn the second layer (I guess), stop once again with the same error information (could not perform start of DAO).

Simple disc burning layer without problem.

Anyone any idea how to solve this problem?
    Thank you
    Luci

    Hello

tried to record double-layer of a different brand? Maybe you should try it, because sometimes certain brands are not really taken in charge or not very well. And check the toshiba (or google) pilot site for new drivers or firmware for this drive, sometimes that it really helps.

I think that the media are not really compatible, I ve read some similar problems in the roxio forum and they solved by using another brand.

Would be nice if you give some information on this case... :)
