Surface RT, push email, as shipments arrive

I have trouble getting my Exchange ActiveSync to work e-mail account works fine on my RT Surface. basically I want to get emails as shipments arrive instead of pull on a set schedule. I have this same e-mail account setup on my laptop Windows 8 and I have the possibility of having the next email 'as shipments arrive. Why I don't receive this option on my RT Surface?

To make things even more confusing, the Surface RT gets emails "as items arrive" for my gmail and outlook.com account, but not for my Exchange ActiveSync work e-mail account.

Thank you

Chris

Hello Chris,

You can set the mail app to download e-mail "as items arrive" to three accounts. If you have added more than three accounts that you will need to change one of your other accounts to download e-mail every two minutes before you will be able to get the option for your exchange account.

    Hello

I would be interested to know if someone else gets suspicious of ActiveSync findings when it is configured for Push / 'as shipments arrive.

I tend to find that when the surface is in mode 'sleep' emails will work either or don't download unless I choose to re-sync.

We use a connection to Exchange 2010 SP2.

    Thank you

I think that there is a limit to the number of accounts that can be put to "as items arrive", if you have more than one e-mail account set up try it spend 15 min, then check if your other account now has access to "as items arrive"?

  • Question of blackBerry Smartphones Push Email

    Hello world

I just got my first blackberry 9700 2 days and I have a few questions about the push email. In fact, I have 3 email accounts and I only created 1 e-mail account on my blackberry.

    The first problem is that:

    1. the push email sometimes receives the e-mail immediately, but when he gets 5-7 emails at a time. I think that push email on blackberry receives e-mail messages instantly when they arrive, isn't she?

    2. is it a problem to use only 1 email for multiple accounts on blackberry? I mean my Facebook, MSN messenger, ebay and other accounts. should I set up my account facebook and MSN messenger to have an individual email for each?  So, in this case 1 email doesn't work a lot on my blackberry.

    3. as what it is provided on e-mail setting blackberry. It can affect the accounts of different e-mail such as hotmail, yahoo, etc..  I put a hotmail on my blackberry, but not @hotmail.com instead of hotmail.co.uk. Is this a problem?

    and one last question is:

    4. I tried to download paid themes, but when I then sent the link to my blackberry there is a link to download the theme. I just clicked on the link to download, but there is no button to download the theme. Is the country where I am were not taken in charge the service? I think that all countries should be able to download the application. In fact, I'm in Australia.

The Australia has supported the service to download a paid app?

    I'd appreciate your answers.

    Thank you

    1. According to your e-mail server type, thrust can be instantaneous or on a cycle. IMAP servers (Gmail, Yahoo, GoDaddy accounts) are almost instantaneous. (AOL and many others) POP accounts are on a cycle of 15 minutes the server checks for new messages and two minutes later until a period, it is up to 15 minutes until that new messages are again found.

    2. is not serious, this is your preference. It's not like you're going to "on the job" an e-mail account. The only thing that you might be aware of the size of e-mail server limits is important, but has nothing to do with the BlackBerry.

    3. use all the e-mail account name, if your e-mail address is [email protected], use it.

If your e-mail address is [email protected], then this is the address.

I don't really understand this question.

4 blackBerry AppWorld is currently available in Australia for free apps, not for applications and commercial themes (paid).

    Good luck.

  • push email

    Hi all

I've done quite some research, but I'm still a little confused.

Is push email is supported on the Palm Pre now? What email provider?

My definition of 'push e-mail': almost instant notification (without extraction affecting a minute ;-)

    Thank you!

    Sapag

    AOL, GMAIL

I use both, and delivery time is approximately 3-5 seconds behind behind the desk top.

  • BlackBerry Push email on BB10 10

I was very excited to launch the device BB10 and Z10 and couldn't wait to buy it when it is available in India. But just had some news on the internet indicating that BB10 not BIS therefore will not push email. I'm not worried for specifically GMAIL or Yahoo or Hotmail Outlook but in general, any type of push notifications and services by e-mail. Up to OS 7 I have never had to worry about Push Email. I never bothered to check if my business email provider has facilities of push, BIS who managed everything for me.

If BB10 does not offer this service more then there is no need to buy Z10 or any other product OS10, in fact I think leave BB forever. I really hate this car dérirez in 15 minutes or refresh. I'd rather go to iPhone or Android, if this feature is not there.

Can anyone confirm if this is true? I'm really upset because I read about it.

    Thanks in advance...

I was a little dissapoointed when heard no BIS with BB10. But now I think it's still doable. Also there are tons of new features in BB10.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Push email/electronic control without BIS?

    Hey

Is it possible to use push email (or use the built-in email client) without a BIS data plan?

Long story short - the only carrier that I can has plans of standard data for phones, but no BB data plans.

I was wondering if I get a "BOLD", if I can still use my email (which is what I need for more than the net), or if it will be a paperweight.

    Someone use push email?

    Thank you

    Med

There are a few ways to use the features of the BB without the BB data plan, but most of them does not give you a good experience of the phone.

You can use Tiggitmail that downloads IMAP/POP without BB data plan.

Also the GMail Mobile client can be used without a mobile BB plan.

Regarding the navigation - when under Wifi coverage, you can use the browser integrated into the BB Hotspot, and where you have UMTS/HSDPA coverage only, you can use Opera Mini.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Push Email advice for Newbie BB & Orange News item

I'm about to buy a Blackberry "BOLD" running on Orange UK (my first BB) I will be en route to Australia for a month, little time and I wonder if the push email constantly running is likely to run on the high costs of data. Can not get good advice from the supplier on the subject but wonder if it is possible to temporarily disconnect the pressure and only turn to the occasionally.

Also just read the expeditions suspension tie Orange about BB makes bold because of software problems. Should I be concerned? I'm going through Carphone Warehouse.

    http://blog.wired.com/gadgets/2008/10/BlackBerry-bold.html

Thanks a lot for any advice.

The way it works is that you create an BIS on Oranges BIS page account on your PC browser, which is tied up your BB PIN code and this is where you can add (integrate) emial accounts. Now you can log into your BIS account and enable or disable the redirection of your BIS account and you can even turn off the data service on your device.

  • Ask the synchronization of Contacts and calendar via USB while using VersaMail with Exchange ActiveSync push email

East of the request to add a new feature in VersaMail in a future version. A Palm support Rep suggested I post this here.

I came across Palm Article ID: 42600 which States "once you set up an Exchange ActiveSync account in VersaMail, you will be able to synchronize the calendar, Contacts or by e-mail via the USB HotSync cable. Would be nice if this was not the case when the synchronization of Contacts and calendar are turned off. A call to technical support confirmed there is no way to do it with the current version of the product.

I found a competing product, RoadSync from DataViz allows me to synchronize ONLY e-mail with ActiveSync, so it would appear to be technically possible.  The problem with RoadSync is is not a true push email on the Treo 680 and it seems a bit expensive with less features than VersaMail.

Please consider publishes a new version or a patch to allow synchronization of Contacts and calendar via USB when you use Exchange ActiveSync push email.

I can certainly present this as a feature request.

  • Push email suddenly does not work?

    Hello

I had very few problems with the pre previously (except battery life, but I'm learning how to keep), but from around 10:00 this morning, I stopped to push email.  I upgraded 1.0.3 Friday, things worked just fine over the weekend, but for some reason, today, that it is to stop auto email recovery.  Everytime I open a mailbox (I have a pop account, a gmail account and my work EAS account) then it synchronizes very well and all my pop emails through, but I have to draw all the way on this specific Inbox to be able to synchronize.

I put it to recover the last 7 days of messages on a 15 minute interval.

    Help?

I don't know what caused it, but I decided to try and fix it with a power Cycle, and now I'm getting the push email again!

While gives an Opticrealm, I hope it will solve it for you as well.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones true Push email

    Hi all.

Can someone help me because I am new to Blackberry. This is my first phone Blackberry (8520). I'm going to push e-mail to hard to understand. When I get an email on my Blackberry email account it happens instantly, but this isn't the case with my Gmail and Hotmail accounts. On the Hotmail account, it takes up to 15 to 20 minutes for an email to arrive and although Gmail messages arrive faster than Hotmail, they are still much slower than the Blackberry mail. I did not implement these accounts correctly?. I disabled the POP on the gmail account and compatible IMAP which seems to have made a small difference, but it is still much slower than my Blackberry email.

I would be very grateful for any help.

    Thank you.

    Thank you.

  • push email notifications - hotmail

I updated my iPhone 5 c for iPhone 6 the other day and put in place with my 2 email accounts (for spam, 1 for 1 working station, both are hotmail addresses). On the 5 c I was receiving push notifications for my workstation. On the iPhone 6 there is no push, only Fetch and manual option. Both perform the same IOS then why is there no push option and how do I get my work emails pushed?

Go to Settings/Mail, Contacts, calendars and tap fetch new data. Tap the account of work and you should see 3 options; Push, Fetch and manual. If you do not see push you haven't configured it in an Exchange account.

  • Smartphones blackBerry push email/off switching voltage

I just got an 8120 pearl with orange

Don't have the bolt e-mail push on (too tight to pay£ 7.50) but managed to associate my e-mail address of the phone.

Also, I connected the phone to my home WiFi.

I wanted to get my e-mails via wi - fi, so if I work without my cell phone I can find a wi - fi hotspot and get all the urgent emails.

I thought I passed I was getting all my emails home

However on a drive to the House, Lancashire, Birmingham I picked up about 10 emails so that I receive them probably not through the wi - fi connection.

My concern is to get about 20 spam e-mails a day about viagra that I don't want to pay a lot of money getting these annoying messages it seems.

Can I turn off the ease to push and turn to if I need

My email on my laptop at home is not synchronized with the enamel on my RT. surface. Please notify.

MSN mail, I believe, was supposed to have been passed to Outlook.com.  Go to http://www.outlook.com and open a session with your MSN account and you can find all your emails it with your contacts.  If they are, on your Surface RT use IE10 to record on Outlook.com and "pin" in your START screen.

If you do, and it works, the two machines will look at the same exact account and all the emails you receive will be there.

Microsoft has eliminated Hotmail and I just watched on the MSN home page and the E-mail link is no longer there, so MSN e-mail accounts may have been moved as well.  If they did not move the account, everything is supposed to have been transferred, and you always use your same login and e-mail as before.

Your contacts on Outlook.com are found by clicking on the arrow down beside the title "Outlook" and click on the application of 'People '.

  • It seems like a lot, a lot more junk emails since his arrival at Thunderbird, why?

I just get a lot more junk emails than I ever did with Windows Live. I do not answer e-mails, I don't know, but there are 5-10 new junk emails every day

Thunderbird does not recognize the many unwanted emails, even if its controls are configured correctly. I have two accounts (on 12) where Thunderbird does not delete messages identified as junk e-mail. The Thunderbird mail filter is buggy and doesn't always work.
