  I've been everywhere on the internet, find the answer to my problem. I have a site in which I have two Flash animations that I need to play. We're working very well. I bought a model flash, edited, published, no problem. The other, I have a photo gallery template I customized, but it will not play on the internet, not even with the generated html file.   This is the HTML generated by Flash 8. I noted that the publication of Flash 8 settings are set to 'Default' and the other Flash file that works is set to "Flash CS4 Settings."   Thank you. I've decided to basically start from scratch on this model. It works now. As you say, must have been the unfinished function.

  I use swf files to show the views in 360 degrees of my products.  All swf files worked very well until version 11.1.102.55 is out.  Now just a white spot is shown where the image is supposed to be.  Here is an example: http://www.downunderweb.com/store/MI_SAD235.html

  I tried to view my site on multiple computers and browsers with the same results - nothing shows up in 11.1.102.55, but swf files work fine on older versions of flash.  I spoke with other web owners who have the same problem.  The new version of flash not backward compatible with some SWF files?
  

  Thank you, ralphk.  I don't use windows 64 bit so it wouldn't be a problem.  I recompiled now all my images with the latest version of Object2vr swf and files now display correctly in all browsers.

  I need help. I created several SWFs for the new my business site and 3 of 4 play without any problems at all. One is a bit more complicated (for my minimal knowledge of Flash) and will not run and I just can't understand it. Help, please! Other (assessment, how it works and console) pages with swf files load very well.

• Flash (swf) files will not play LOCALLY

  For a few years now, I've been making Flash demos embedded in an HTML page for viewing online. The same exact pages also work offline, IE. from a CD, USB, or another PC of evil by car.
  
  Suddenly, which just stopped working! I've done all the troubleshooting and elimination of bug I can do - there is no reason I could find why pages that provide fine on my PC and creating work perfectly when it is online, does more when the same location of this directory is taken to another PC.

  I THOUGHT ABOUT IT! The AC_RunActiveContent.js script treated him not properly pathed to Dreamweaver, even when new pages have been made.   Open the directory where you published your flash files.  in this directory, you will see the skin swf.  Download the swf on your server in the same directory of your other flash files server.

  Suddenly my music wma files will not play in WMP11. I have tried everything I know and read, nothing helps. So far I tried to convert the MP3 files is not working even in these programs (v3.0 have all Audio Recorder being one of them); I tried to delete the ID3 and all the other codes (HeadStrong ID3Kill v1.4), all what has been clear all my songs the album/song. etc - HUGE mistake! • File will not play

  I added a MP4 of GoPro file to a new project of first elements 11.  Then I made.  Then I click the Play triangle, and absolutely nothing happens.  I can drag the CTI autour, and the picture moves with the indicator.  But the file will not play its own.

  I'm working on a Thinkpad laptop, which I know is not enough; powerful but I could play and edit GoPro videos on this computer later this morning.

  Your browser is being updated? In your browser, does it help to go to Options/advanced/network and clear the contents of the Web Cache?

• After making like MOV, file will not play in Quicktime format.

  When I make files MOV or MP4s, the files will not play in Quicktime or VLC. Opening to QuickTime, a "Conversion" window... "appears. After waiting for a long time, an error message appears.

  It's nothing to do with the Adobe software. This is because Apple has removed many of the most recent version of QuickTime codecs and requires a conversion of these codecs during playback in the newer versions of QuickTime Player.

• Dvd player MediaSmart not working - when a Blu - ray Disc I'm invited to be updated, but even with the update it will not play.

  I have laptop HP Pavilion dv7-1260.  When I put in a blu - ray disc I'm propmted to get an update.  Even with the update, it will not play a blu ray.
