• Problem with switch ports linksys 5 (EZXs55w)

  As you have changed your ISP from DSL to cable, this option will not work with the cable ISP. Buy a router (wired or wireless router) to do your multiple computers to go online with your cable ISP.

  How can I configure two ports on an ASA5510 (version 8.4 (5)) or with 2 different inside networks out interface or two inside and two on the inside outside routing to an outside and inside another for the rest outdoors?

  Specifically, I had all three interfaces with dhcp and basic configuration of all, I got one (10.1.0.0) inside out successfully from the internet (208.83.73.193 for example), but I'm not sure of the second internal interface (192.168.1.0) out to the internet.

  I tried to configure nat for the guest network the same way that I have it set to the 10.1.0.0 network and also nat static and that it did not work (maybe I did wrong).

  two inside networks to one outside is no different to a demilitarized zone and inside outwards. Both come from a security level higher and go to a lower level of security. In your case, there is the second inside network for guest users, I would use a lower level of security as the guest network is probably not as trustworthy as the internal network.

  The second requirement (two inside and two outside) would need a form of routing that the ASA does not support the way in which you want to use based on policy (there are some hacks with NAT, but it's really horrible). That you could use for this are security contexts. A context with inside1/outside1, the other context with inside2/outside2. Here, you can easily route traffic inside2 to outside2 and inside1 to outside1.

  As we all know the switches use according to criteria of application PLEASE:

  (1) to root the lowest BID

  (2) a low-cost path to the bridge root

  (3) OFFERED the lowest sender

  (4) minimum port priority

  (5) the lowest port id.

  So in your senario until number 4 allvalues will be equal and there will be a match tie. So for port breakage id will be used and the port with the higher port number will be blocked and low port id will be in a State of fwding.

  Example:

  If you've been through e1/1 and e1/2 cable on the same switch then 1/1 b in condition of fwding all-in-1/2 will b in the blocking state.

  You must add a static route for that to happen.

  a root is a designated port (if shipping port) on a non-root bridgewhich a path root the lowest cost to the root bridge. So there is nothing unusual here, and your kernel needs to be done to root bridge if you run STP between distribution and kernel as you apparently.

  I am setting up our lab to test fault tolerance. I plan to use a vSwitch sperate isolated FT and separate FT VLAN. Are there specific indications for siwthc trial paramΦtres I can give to my network group. I want to just make sure that the physical ports are configured before idelly I start testing.

  I didn't know that your plan was to use vSwitch dedicated only for FT traffic and nothing else.

  So, I recommended that you use the "load-driven" (new feature in 4.1) for a better distribution of traffic between natachasery on vswitch but also for network IO contol to partition the link between the different types of traffic. But you are right, as long as the vswitch is dedicated for FT, no need to use it.

  The extent of the Cisco switch port config, if you run the two natachasery to the same switch, you can use etherchannel, although the single link 1 Gbit/s is more than enough for traffic FT. Also, I recommend to enable portfast on ports involved to avoid any interruption when other devices added to the network, triggering the spanning tree protocol recalucations.

  I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more who struggled to properly perform the analyses of the ADF.  It seems that is happening WITH PDF FILES.  The ADF will get out the paper at different speeds, creating the effect below.  When it goes faster (you can hear it speed up), you get the lines; When he finds the right speed, you get what is digitization of bottom-good copy.  It seems to work correctly in photo mode, etc. - ONLY WITH PDFS.  Sometimes, it can properly analyze dozens of pages (and did very well in the past), and now he has started to do this.

  I cleaned the rollers, but appear not to be the problem if it happens only with PDFs.  I cleaned the glass of 1 inch Strip, but would not be the problem either if the bottom of the page (or top or wherever it happens to go faster) has NO scratches on it).  I have looked at post after post and cannot understand it.  What could be wrong! ???

  I'll give you a link which deals with topics of the ADF.  Click here  This will show you all the ADF areas that need to be cleaned.  A wet coffee filter is a good tool for the cleaning of the rollers.  Alcohol friction broken residue sliding in this situation, but for a regular cleaning, I would recommend distilled, filtered or bottled water.  Nice day!

  So that each vNIC VM goes to a VLAN. Now I want to create a trunk between my vSwitch and my physical switch.

  I set up the trunk of the physical switch port but I have not found how to set up the trunk on the vSwitch0.

• Ports high speed USB Equium A100

  I installed a webcam Advent (before exchanging it for a better creative). Part of the installation process involves installing a Microsoft's USB controller. (OS is Windows XP Home Edition). I uninstalled the ADVENT software when I got back to the webcam.

  Since then, I started getting messages every time I plug a USB device, on a device high-speed, requiring a port high speed.

  When I look in Device Manager, I have two sets of Bus USB controllers:

  One includes 2 standard OpenHCD USB host controllers, 2 USB, 1 support 2 USB hubs and USB printing composite devices. Their drivers are dated 2001.

  The other includes 1 class PCI USB 2.0 enhanced host controller and USB Root Hub Device 1. Their drivers are dated 2006.

  I have 4 USB ports and all seem to be using the first series of USB controllers. If I disable one of the controllers, then various USB devices stop working.

  As my laptop is only 18 months old, I would have thought that all USB ports are 2.0 version?

  How can I 'forcing' the laptop to use the second set of controllers?

  I think that the biggest problem, it is you would waste more time to fix such a driver related issue then just entering the recovery CD and performing a recovery of your entire system.

  Perhaps the fastest way to put little life back to your ports USB 2.0 high-speed. Otherwise, I had suggested to remove all ports from the Device Manager and let windows after a restart re-install all the drivers, but before perform the reboot it would be better to manually remove all THE drivers installed previously.

  Maybe it helps, but if not he would have definitely better to perform the recustomization...

  We have switches to access ~ 150 in our society and have put in place security of 802. 1 x on ports.
  I would like to know if there are tools, ISE commands or switch commands that I can use to get an inventory on which switch ports have authentication enabled on them.
  Currently I have to connect individually to each switch and start looking at the configuration per interface. I guess that there is an easier way to do this?

  Also, is there some recommended tools to use to get reports on the State of the ISE? The ISE Group on the node of the Admin is entirely too slow and clumsy.

I discovered that it is accessible via defaultPortConfig, stretching from VMwareDVSPortSetting where securityPolicy is a property of VMwareDVSPortSetting.
