  You should be able to change your laptop HARD drive without using an ESD wrist strap. It is worth "land" yourself in any case to make sure that you don't carry a lot of static accumulation, but a wrist strap is really required only when working close to RAM or graphics or advice chips.

  I don't know exactly where the HARD drive is on your laptop, but if there is no immediately obvious on the bottom access panel and the edges of the device, it can be accessed in the optical drive (the A30 Satellite for this), under the keyboard, or under the battery.

  Don't gorget you need to transfer the caddy Assembly to the new drive and remove/replace the drive with caution to avoid damaging the pins.

  You have that gave a lot of thought...   I'm running a sequence in the sequence editor (single-pass) with active follow-up.  I find that when I get a section in my sequence loop, the displayed State of stage starts in white, is preparing for the first passage through each step of the loop, and the steps are displayed to this status, unless / until modified in a loop later.  I would prefer that the status of step back empty at the beginning of each iteration of the loop and then get / displayed when the step is completed (yet) in order to better show the progress through the wrist strap.  Is there a way to do this?

  Several weeks ago, I updated level of Windows Vista Ultimate, Windows 7 Ultimate. My computer worked fine with Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade, until a message screen said that I have a low battery.

  I had replaced the battery (CR2032) three years ago, so I switched off the power and unplug all the cables from the computer. I put on my wrist strap gloves and anti-static dirt and replaced with care the new (CR2032) as I had before.

  When I turned the computer back on, it will not start. I have a message on the screen, indicating:

  Floppy drive seek failure

  Strike F1 key to continue, F2 to run the Setup utility

  Missing operating systems.

  The computer will not respond to the use of each of the keys.

  Could someone please help?
