SX20 without dual display capable to share the presentation?

Hello

I would just clear my doubt

SX20 is without option of dual display capable to share the presentation.

If I understand correctly the SX20 installation sheet

http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/quick-set-SX20/installation_guide/sx20_quick_set_installation_sheet_for_web.PDF

Connect your main display on the HDMI color blue.

With the dual display option, connect the second screen to the other HDMI output.

It means that I can still share presentation even without dual display option

Best regards

Titebiket

Hello

Yes, you need not dual display of the presentation.

  • SX20 dual display - how to view the presentation on monitor 1

    Hello

We have a SX20 (TC7.0.2) and two monitors connected as follows: -.

    Monitor 1 - projector

    2 - TV LCD monitor

If we have a video call with a remote party, we want the remote side to display on the monitor 1 (projector) and free view on the monitor 2 (TV).  This works well.

If we begin to share a presentation, we want the presentation to display on the monitor 1 (projector) and the video of the remote to move to the screen 2 side (TV). Is this possible?.  In our tests, the presentation always appears on Monitor 2 (TV LDC - which is smaller and harder to see the presentation on).

We tried switching constantly monitors for the presentation to appear on the projector and the remote on the TV and part that works OK for a presentation share the call, but when you make a normal video with no introduction the remote party call is then always on TV and free view is on the projector more great if it's not good.

We are really looking for an option of local available that displays the video of the remote party on monitor 1 and then when a presentation is shared poster presentation on monitor 1 and moves the video of the remote party to monitor 2.

Y at - it a setting option that I missed or y at - it a way to create a custom layout to do this?

    Thanks and greetings

    David Vieritz

    DD option is installed.

I don't think this is possible, because I think that monitor 1 always displays the remote site, while the 2 monitor shows usually content presentation. It's not a way to return automatically without entering the codec configuration each time to reverse the monitors.

The SX20 has not the ability to create custom models, only the integrating codecs can, as the C60/90 and SX80.

  • Dual display capability

I own several PC Slimline box office 400-314. Supposedly, they are able to dual display. Can I just connect 2 monitors to integrated video connectors (one VGA and one DVI) motherboard and re - configure the OS Setup ' display? If so, I'll be able to expand the office and 2 browser windows open?... .or will the office be duplicated?

  • SX20 with dual - can output duplicate / clone

    Hello

    I have a SX20 with dual display running s/w version TC7.3.3.

Two monitors are connected and I put the configuration as below

    Setup > video > monitors = double

I get the far - end and discovered on the first monitor and the second will be content presentation

    On change

    Setup > video > monitors = Single

I get everything - Far end, near end and the presentation on the same screen

    and then the changes below

Setup > video > SelfviewDefault modepleinecran > on

Setup > video > SelfviewDefault OnMonitorRole > second

    Setup > video > output > HDMI 1 > MonitorRole = 1

    Setup > video > output > HDMI 2 > MonitorRole = 1

But the situation is still the same

Please help me to find a solution, I need to clone screens.

    Concerning

    Boily

Well, I think I understand what you want now.

If the monitors are the unique value you will see end, selfview and presentation all shared on the same screen.  However, if the monitors are set to dual, you see end on a screen with selfview and presentation on another.  There is now way to just see the far - end on both screens without possibility of selfview or presentation, screen share or taking a whole screen for itself, if one is active.

  • Cisco EX90: Unable to see the presentation of the end

    Hi all

We have currently enrolled in CUCM EX90.

    Question:

    Scenario of

1 when the EX90 will launch to share the presentation, from the other side, they were able to see the presentation that we shared.

but in the far endpoint if they will start to share the presentation we can see their presentation and this is the only time wherever they are able to see our shared presentation.

Conclusion: before we able to share the presentation at the other end, firstly they must commit to share their presentation we before they can see our presentation.

Already checked the NaturalPresenter but according to audit it is already built in the EX90.

My question is why the presentation works after end first start sharing their screen for us. But if we will undertake the first, they can't see our split screen.

    Receive your answer. Thank you!

It will depend on the version of the software you; "re running on the EX90.

Before TC7.0 EX90 Admin Guide says that, for a call SIP and the 5170-5177 5070-5077 UDP ports are used to connect BFCP (channel of submission).  From TC7.0 onwards, the BFCP port and the active control prefer to use dynamically ports the RTP port range.

If a firewall blocks these ports, channel of submission will not be established and the presentation can be sent in the channel video main, which is probably why it seems to work when you call a bridge.

Note: It is strongly recommended that you upgrade your version of software on your EX90 to TC7.3.6 to address many security vulnerabilities in earlier software releases.

    Hello, everyone.

I have Cisco and C20 SX20 endpoints. Both with dual display of the license.

    1. when the C20 is inactive, monitor 1 and 2 show the local video. If I connect a PC to the content source and then the monitor 2 shows.

2 - when the SX20 is idle, just monitor 1 local video shows. If I connect a PC to the content source and then the monitor 2 shows.

    3. when the C20 is a call, 1 shows the remote video monitor and monitor 2 local video. While content sharing monitor 1 video shows distance and PIP local video, monitor 2 displays the content.

4 while the SX20 is a call, monitor 1 video shows distance and PIP local video, monitor 2 gray yet. While content sharing monitor 1 video shows distance and PIP local video, monitor 2 displays the content.

At the end are 2 pictures that show the problem.

I want to watch the video video in separate screens where the content is not sharing (SX20) remote and local. How can I do?

    The xconfiguration endpoint is attached.

I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance

    Hello Sharong-

Change the following two parameters on your codec, and this should help you to what you want.  When TC6 came out and Cisco introduces new options of selfview, it changed how the codec have behaved and treated the selfview when using dual display.

Video SelfviewDefault FullscreenMode: OnVideo SelfviewDefault OnMonitorRole: Second

When content is sent, it will display on your secondary display selfview becomes a GLITCH on the first view  OnMonitorRole will on your second screen selfview when content is not displayed, and modepleinecran make selfview display full-screen when it is on the second screen instead of a PIP.

  • HP 15-ac098tu: how to share the screen of the laptop as a dual monitor?

    Hi guys,.

I was wondering if it is possible to share the screens of the two laptops that I, as a laptop as main screen and the screen on the other laptop as a second monitor? But everything wireless since don't have a cable VGA or HDMI cable with me at the moment. The two laptops are running on Windows 7 pro OS. One is 32-bit and the other a 64-bit. If possible could someone here tell me how to get there?

    VOID:

    (1) need to use monitors of the laptop at hand, Wireless.

    2) are two laptops running on Windows 7 OS.

    Thank you

OK, the only way to make it wireless is having a "Server and a client host" of course. Now I did not understand how sharing the screen, but basically what I wanted to do is use the same keyboard and mouse for two laptops. It's easier this way than to have to switch the keyboard and the mouse of the two laptops if you're working on laptops at the side.

    Solution:

    (1) install synergy in both computers laptops regardless of type of OS or version and set it up.

    (2) in this way I can use same keyboard and mouse for two laptops at the same time.

    (3) I don't have to worry about files and stuff stored in different computers laptop cuz its shared via Wi - Fi network. If I can access them in two laptop computers whenever I wanted. It's perfect.

I hope this helps those who were eager to do the same.

    See you soon!

  • 7 merger, El Capitan, dual display: Windows now refuses to use the second screen

    Fusion 7.1.2

    End 2012 27 "iMac (2560 x 1440, 2.9GHz i5, 24GO RAM) with a 24 '' Dell Ultrasharp (1920 x 1200) connected by a Thunderbolt-HDMI connector cable.

Guest operating system Windows 7 (and a couple of VM Ubuntu, not relevant here).

Before, I would start merging and Windows 7 would start automatically, as it has to do. He will start in his own space and use two screens, with the windows desktop 'main' (with the taskbar on the screen of the Mac) and the Dell used to extend space office (just like OSX).

I just upgraded to OSX to El Capitan and now it's borked:

1 Windows 7 starts automatically with Fusion (despite still be configured for this purpose). It is a minor annoyance but nothing more.

    2. that's the real problem:

Windows displays the "BIOS" screen, and then the graphic screen "starting windows", then goes black. In preview VM library, I can see the login screen, but in the space of Windows, nothing. Just black.

When it happened first, I disconnected the monitor Dell, rebooted, logged on to Windows on one screen, then plugged the Dell back in and it worked. However, reconnected the external monitor on each startup of the machine is not my idea of fun or "just work".

I changed the display settings of VM Win7 molten (changed "use full resolution for the retina display" section, "Scaled high resolution" 'Unity only' drop-down to "all display modes" and now I can see the Windows login screen in half the width and height of the main screen.) If I log in I get two desktops to a Windows display value, crammed into the width, and half of the height of the 27 "display, with nothing on the external monitor. No amount of reconnected does not change this.

I restarted the VM and OSX more than once since upgrading to El Capitan, so a simple reboot won't be the solution.

    Help!

He drives me crazy, any suggestions?

I had another couple of VM Ware support calls and there is a solution (which works for me) and a fix promised in the next version of Fusion 8 (I presume it comes to version 8.0.2) which should be days (rather than weeks) away.

The fix may or may not be folded in to Fusion 7.

The workaround is: parameters of OSX--> Mission control--> check "screens have a separate space.

The downside is that when dragging between spaces, you often have to swipe the two screens, top menu bars have more two screens in OSX, but I can cope with it for a few days.

    Hello

The requirement is to display the report run date/time in the result. (Report is developed using Excel template)

Following syntax would give me time of the server where BI Publisher is installed.

Any help on this is much appreciated.

What is values of $_XDOLOCALE and $_XDOTIMEZONE, then you run the report with or without the user preferences?

can you please check and share the result

Add these variables to test the output of the report and please post on its values

so, if the values of the variables are picked from the user's preferences, you can simply use

If the values are the values of server beep then, as of ideas,

-some additional report parameters (can be hidden) dynamic picking local / zone by other additional tables as user/local/zone schedule

(intermediate table to store the preferences of users - custom extension)

so, you for certain user values in this table, then you can set their default values for the parameters and pass to the generation of reports

If missed - use beep server settings

    - or post SR to take over the team, already can be a useful way is existed

  • How photoshop round of dual display, each with a different profile?

I am looking to buy the dual display for photo editing and would like to have each calibrated and profiled differently - 1 for web output and one for the print output. I use Mac OS and I understand that ICC (Photoshop and Lightroom) compatible applications use the system default profile to display the colors regardless of the operating system. I'm curious to know if photoshop is capable of managing 2 display profiles stored on the system to match each display? I am concerned that 1 only one profile can be defined by default and that he will use this profile for both screens.

Yes, it uses a different profile for each monitor.

But your thinking is dead wrong.  You do not calibrate and profile a monitor 'to print' or 'Web'.

You calibrate and profile a monitor to display the colors better, more precise and natural, it can handle.

The output is considered through Proofing (menu items "test" and "test colors" in the display menu of Photoshop), a topic on which you need to do a lot of reading.  Start with the help files in Photoshop.

  • Cannot share the SD as usb drive

I'm under 1.1 on a fire of Alcatel filed. I enabled two options to share the sd card (which works fine) as a usb drive, but it does not recognize my computer (Debian). When I connect the phone, it creates an sdb entry in / dev, but without partition (sdb1).

So far, the only way to achieve this is by issuing the command described here (http://yorik.uncreated.net/guestblog.php?2014=15), "Adding access usb to SD card" > step 5. I do whenever I plug in the phone, of course.

    Additional information:
-The sd card works fine. I can use it on the computer with a microsd card.
-The sd card works fine on the phone too.
-J' have enabled usb drive and shared the sd card in the phone.
-The page I linked indicates the partition should appear when I unlock the home screen, I have tried that but it still does not work.

This has been resolved for me in rev version 1.1.0.0 01020.
