I got this message that SXUPTP. Kext is not compatible and contact the developer.
1. I don't know who is the developer or the program that uses this extension.
2 is it something to worry about security wise?
3. If it is something that is potentially a risk to security, what should I do about it and how?
It is a driver for the router Linksys or Belkin or other material. See here: Extension of the system "SXUPTP.kext"

I'm not a developer so I am just grasp at straws in my diagnosis, but does anyone know what exactly that might be related to the?
For the record, I tried to remove RAM 3 rd-party and disconnect all devices. I have not been able to identify specific behavior that triggers the panic, and it may happen even when the computer is not used. I tried the Safe Mode for short periods of time without incident, but who can tell me only so much. I have an own account which has not yet experienced the problem, but I can't run in very long and get real work done. I'm open to other ideas for troubleshooting. I really do not have to recreate my account from scratch.
The first class kext is can be the last load one - that is not necessarily the one that is choking on the Mac.
If you want to help spread the output in full panic. Frankly, I don't have the ability to diagnose for you, all I know is that you give us your own diagnosis when the symptoms detailed is really required to help.

error - VboxDrv.kext not getting is not compatible
I installed MacOs Sierra. At the end of installation, I got an error "this system extension"VboxDrv.kext "is is not compatible with this version of Mac OS X and cannot be used.
I own macbook 13 inch, middle of model year 2010.
No idea how to solve this problem. Could this problem be impacting my work somehow.

Deleted file under ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.kext

I own a MacBookPro to mid-2011 currently being updated to El Capitan 10.11.3. Recently, I started having the common decision-making process kernel_task more than 100% of the CPU usage problem. For this problem, I followed the solution to remove the MacBookPro8_2.plist file under /System/Library/Extensions/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ACP_SMC _PlatformPlugin.kext/Contents/Resources/.
After doing this, the problem has been resolved and the process of kernel_task is now normal and my computer is more responsive. However, I'm concerned by the subsequent consequences to delete that file. Although I made a backup of the file, I don't know what features important equipment may be affected in deleting the file, like the fan control when the laptop overheating for example.
My question is: would there be any side effects after what I did? or is it completely safe to leave it like that?
The problem of kernel_task originated after I had my battery replaced.

I'm getting kernel panic errors that occur after I have my Macbook 15 "walk or have closed up to sleep. When I come back, it is said it is restarted or I have to hard reboot with the power button. This seems to have started after the update.

You turn off your AV software before you do the upgrade? I suggest that to get rid of because you do not really need. Here are a few things you can try:
- Reset the PRAM
- Reset the controller (SMC) system management
- Start the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart your computer again normally. It's slower than a standard home.
- Restart the computer. After the chime hold COMMAND and R until the Utility Menu appears. Disk utility and click on the button continue. Disk utility charges and select layouts withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) volume entry of the list to one side. Click first aid button in the toolbar. Wait for the done button to appear. Disk utility and return in the Utility Menu.
- Restart the computer from the Apple Menu.
- Download OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 Combo update. Reinstall Combo update.

MonitorControl_drv.kext has been successfully installed and can not be used.
I get this dialog box popping up. I ran Malwarebytes and Bitdefender, reinstalled the operating system. Any way to install this file "correctly"?
It does not appear to have an impact on the system, but I really want to do the sorting.

Help! Cannot empty "VBoxDrv.kext".
I reinstalled ElCapitan 3 times and after that each process is finished, I get a message that "the version of VBoxDrv.kext is not compatible with your version of Mac OS x. contact the developer for updates." (which is paraphrased, with the exception of the VBoxDrv.kext. I tried VBoxDrv.kext with the search at the top right of the screen tool, and he said: 'no result '. I know that it refers to "virtual box" but no matter how I search, I get empty. (vbox, virtual box, etc, etc..)
How can I get rid of this pain in the thigh.

FredIt's a remnant (or as he points out, incompatible) driver for VirtualBox - a free software virtual machine similar to VMware and Parallels. Curiously, there is no uninstall instructions on their site.

I recently updated my laptop HP from Windows Vista to Windows 7. Since the change, I get the message "the file SXUPTP driver" not found when the computer starts. I have no idea what this driver is attached to. After searching online, I saw that it is supposed to relate to the Belkin USB hubs, but I do not use any. Even when I tried to download the 3.1.5.0 SXUPTP driver, but then it just says that I do not have the latest driver and it installs this entire program to control USB hubs that I don't want on my computer. Can anyone help?

Try the steps and check them off below if it helps:
1 delete the startup item. Steps to follow:
i. Click Start
II. Select all programs
III. Select startup in the list
IV. delete all the startup item
v. restart the computer and check if the problem persists
2 turn off the system configuration startup item
i. Click Start, in the search box, type in msconfig.exe
II system configuration window. Open
III. click the Startup tab
IV. click on disable all the
v. restart the computer and check if the problem persists

HP Officejet Pro 8600 e: 8600e printer driver a bad installation of hp_io_enabler_compound.kext
I recently did a clean install of Yosemite. I write under "OS unknown because the drop down menu stops at OS 10.8 so I couldn't choose Yosemite.
I have a printer HP 8600e.
There is a recurring message that says "the hp_io_enabler_compound.kext of the Extension of the system has been successfully installed and can not be used. This happens constantly, regardless of case I try to print.
I followed the suggestions of other threads to uninstall the software, reset the printer drivers in the system preferences.
Download the software from the HP site, install, problem persists
I tried to repair fsck - fy in secure safe.
I tried to delete the file, but when restarted, it is replaced, and returns the message.
This condidion is currently doing anything on the boring computer because it is constantly interrupted by this message.
Need help. Please suggest not all the things I've done.

In the error message, you will see that the exact path got the hp_io_enabler_compound.kext.
Go to this place and set "hp_io_enabler_compound.kext" to the trash, then empty the trash, and then reinstall the software below:

Anyone else does? If someone has the time to support can submit you this mine has expired and I don't want to pay for the mistake here. Which seems at this stage that it is. I reinstalled it. Fixed permissions uninstalled reinstalled and still the same problem.

If this pop-up has recently started to appear on my screen. When I was connected to wifi, this has come up a few times (think it is related to the update of itunes?) Read this in another discussion, don't really know), but no problem seems to arise. I just close the window. However, I just bought a modem, and every time I install the software required to use the pop up shows. The problem occurs when I try to connect to the internet via the modem; The connection from the menu button is just gray.
The name of the driver pretty much says it all; It is important in the use of modems but does not work. Any suggestions to solve this? All entries are greatly appreciated.

From a little over a month (I think), Safari started freezing regularly whenever I want to open new tabs or switch between tabs. I found myself to leave the program several times per day / hour. I can't identify any specific common cause (other than my MacBook being old) or any new software or updates that might have initiated the question. At first I thought he might have many tabs, I tried to open, but recently it happens even with only a few tabs open.
I worked through the steps I found in this forum and others: empty the cache, start in safe mode, etc nothing works.
Based on the previous suggestions, I have downloaded and run EntreReport which I included below. The note and maybe just a distraction, but EntreReport has crashed three times tonight, before he was able to produce the sub report. I ran the report after restarting my system with no other programs running.
Suggestions are welcome at this stage because I want to start using Chrome or Firefox because I like the transfer procedure between my devices.

My MBP early 2008 has suddenly become very slow; I get the ball spinning for a long amount of time. I have not installed a new software or hardware. I know that the machine is old, but until recently it always played beautifully. In addition, when the MBP "wake up" from sleep, I have to restart to reconnect to the network.
