  Hey, there.  It is the GPS indicator.  If you see just the "cross" as you describe, it means that your phone is on E911 only, which means, GPS makes only a call to 911.  If you go to Options, Advanced Options, GPS, you can set it to place on, and the GPS signal will remain active.  After doing this, you will notice that the icon has now three 'waves signal' coming out of it.  You must activate your GPS location on if you want to use applications like Verizon Navigator for turn-by-turn directions, etc.

  I have several slideshows in my animated document, and I have three buttons at the top of the document that a user can click. Each button calls some slide shows (which are symbols) and brings them to animate using sym.getComposition () .getStage ().getSymbol("mySymbol").play. It works fine, but as soon as I click a different button, the symbols that the other button activated keep animating.

  I know that I can reset the timelines for symbols referencing each slide show by name individually, but y at - it an easier way? I have so many symbols!

  You can also use getChildSymbols(), which gives you a table of references of the symbols of your scene.  Here is a brief sample, which uses the same code of sample of the API to animate:

  This code would be a bit more generic and would not involve to maintain a list of objects.  Please note that this applies only to symbols that are currently on your scene, dynamically declared or not.

  Hi all

  I tried to gather the right info to use javascript to create a shape to bring in particularsymbols of the symbol library based on the variables of the form. I took pieces of various examples of scripts and tried to make this work, but my problem is when I try to use conditional statements.

  This is a limited version of what I want to do, but just to get the message.

  1. I want to select a script that has various dropdowns. I want the first dropdown to give me 3 options: 10, 13, 18

  2. I would also like another drop-down list that gives me three options: needle single, double needle and knife-blade.

  3. I wish that it have an "ok" button and the button "Cancel".

  4. from there when I click the ok button, a symbol is presented library according to what parameters have been given to the form.

  ex. If I selected 10 the first descent to the bottom and double needle in the second, I would like to "SYMBOL" be pulled from the library and centered on the artboard.

  ex. If I have selected 13 the first descent to the bottom and double needle in the second, I would like to 'SYMBOL B' to be pulled from the library and centered on the artboard.

  I got the user interface is displayed and it works as expected, as well as to bring it into a symbol, my problem comes when I try to integrate functions and conditional statements.

  MyFillSelection = myDropdown.selection is outside the service, so it will always read '13', anything to change value.

  Place this line in your service and add the text property... MyFillSelection = myDropdown.selection.text;

  then do your if comparisons, that will do.

  What symbols you're wanting to insert in your text?  If they are accentuated letters, all you have to do is hold down this button and a menu will appear.  Press the number that corresponds to the accented letter you need.  If they are other symbols or emoticons in general, press command + control + space to show the visualizer of characters.

  The first icon is "pinned" to the Windows 7 taskbar in an earlier version? Could you try unpinning and repinning Firefox and see if that helps?
