  What version of operating system you have on your device, is it OS5 or OS6, you need to uninstall some applications if you're under OS6 for Bold 9700 doesn't have enough memory to run the OS 6. Also have you activated Memory Cleaner on your device?  Check Options > Security > Memory Cleaner, if it is enabled then disable it, because it also cause freezing and clock.

  Hello, I had my blackberry for about 2 months and last week, a symbol appeared on my home screen, and I don't know what it is or how to get rid of!   It's a push browser message.

  Open your main messages folder > Menu > view folders > look in the browser or Wap push files, push to find and delete the message.

  Hi, this may have already prepared before, but...

  I have a white envelope with what looks like a blackberry symbol on it and a red number 1 in the top right corner it. I looked on my blackberry messages and SMS, emails and nothing appears and it has not disappeared.

  If no one comes with the answer, go to your Messages folder, click on the menu button (the BB button to the left of the trackpad), and then select the display folder.  One by one, select each folder until you come to the one with the message in it.

  That could take a while... you might want to wait until someone tells you it is.

  It's a push browser message if it is blue.
  If it's yellow, it's a WAP push message.

  1. open your main message folder.
  2. press the Menu button (on the left of the trackball).
  3. click on view files.
  4. click on browser Push (or WAP Push Messages) messages.
  5. read or remove the messsage.

  This problem usually comes from the flattening of contacts tiny keyboard metal inside or corrosion from moisture. It is probably time to replace the unit.

  Hey, there.  It is the GPS indicator.  If you see just the "cross" as you describe, it means that your phone is on E911 only, which means, GPS makes only a call to 911.  If you go to Options, Advanced Options, GPS, you can set it to place on, and the GPS signal will remain active.  After doing this, you will notice that the icon has now three 'waves signal' coming out of it.  You must activate your GPS location on if you want to use applications like Verizon Navigator for turn-by-turn directions, etc.

  When I click on the symbol for the letter to get into my e-mail... all my mail is listed... but the bar very high to the left of the time is a number 1 with a black circle, the circle has an arrow white, staged in the Southwest... and a small red circle at the top.

  The notice says you have an application that you previously downloaded or purchased in App World > My World, which is ready for an upgrade on your device. Look there for the upgrade.

  To clear the notification on the screen, find the alert message in your main folder, read or delete it.

  Hi all.  I need help as soon as possible please. I have searched, but probably did not use the right conditions to refine what I was looking for.  But I need someone who can help as soon as possible.

  I have a client with a Bold 9700, I've updated since a curve 8230-, but had similar questions.  In any case, the customer has several folders and rules in Outlook 2007 to move the items in those folders.

  The problem: when I navigate to Options > e-mail settings > Folder Redirection - shows desktop only and it is not extensible.   If I choose to view the folders, I see that browser and nothing related to Outlook folders.  We use the synchronization for ALL wireless and DM is not available for the Office of the customer. (yes I know...)

  What I tried:

  Activation of a new device.

  Remove CMIME and sending Service books.

  Updated the encryption key

  I checked the BES (5.02) to display the parameters of Redirection of customers, I can see the folders and that they are selected, but not on camera.

  Please... Please... Help!

  Follow these steps to recover the files on the BlackBerry:

  1 wipe the BlackBerry smartphone. Options > Security Options > wipe handheld

  2 remove from the BlackBerry Enterprise Server BlackBerry smartphone user account

  3. When you are prompted to delete the information form that is associated with the mailbox, select Yes

  4. Add users of BlackBerry smartphone on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server

  5. set a new password for activation

  6. do a new Enterprise Activation.

  Once activation is complete, you should see once more records.  Let me know if you encounter any problems.

  Hi all. I've recently upgraded to a Q10. My carrier is EA in the United Kingdom (2G, 3G and 4G). The BlackBerry symbol continues to disappear from my Q10. When this happens BBM stops working. I called EE five times. Whenever they refresh the settings on their network. I reboot the Q10 and all is well for a few hours. BlackBerry then disapperars again and BBM symbol no longer works. EA says now there is a problem with the network BlackBerry and EA can not help. Personally I don't think anyone EE understand the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions please?   With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should translate a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait message "registration" happen

  2) restart

  • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. IF this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If no, then climb you with your mobile service provider... they have access to a path of degenerate formally to BlackBerry if they cannot solve your problems. Consider... you pay 100% of your services, making them responsible for 100% of your official support, regardless of whether the problem is BB or EE EE.

  There are two methods for recovering for you to try:

  One:

  • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
  • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
  • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.
  • If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.

  Second:
