    Ideas anyone?

    Hello

It is not easy to explain why this happened. In my opinion, you should try with a different external mouse. Also try disabling the internal mouse while using an external.

Also check the BIOS settings. There is an option called pointing device or something like that. Try to change the automatic selection at the same time.

  • The best mouse pad fabric of sidewinder x 8?

My sidewinder x 8 tends to jump on my black fabric xtrac ripper. is there a specific fabric mouse pad that works best with the 8 x or mouse hate cloth?

    Hello

I would like to know a good point too,

I'm so frustrated with the feet is not sliding on a decent surface. I tried every color feet and there is certainly a difference, the mouse works under par on a lot of surfaces, the worst of any mouse I've ever owned. Pretend that it works (decently) on all surfaces is just crazy.

Let me be clear, the sensor of the mouse takes and works very well, you just can't move (drag) the mouse reasonably on these surfaces (perhaps due to the "foot" configuration?)

    THE FIX

I had all sorts of things around the House to see what was the best surface. Hey presto, the magical surface for this cushion is, you guessed it, plastic clean and smooth, I use a thindisposable plastic Board my wife bought at Aldi (in a package). The mouse works brilliantly on it.

Among the surfaces that were terrible, we, (Incidentally, even my old microsoft intellimouse mouse works fine on all these)

fabric mouse pad (cheap generic freebee)

    glass

    Vinyl office

    Office wood

    sofa

I would however really buy a mouse is appropriate, so if someone could answer post from gonintendos that has a good point for this mouse , they are happy with it please don't.

Also, having said the above, the mouse is great now I have the correct surface (10/10 better than my old logitec G7 that says something)

  • pavillion g6 laptop mouse pad

    Hello

My son has had a brand new, one for Christmas and all was going well until he started today and the mouse pad is totally insensitive. Can anyone help?

    @lisabling,

    Try the following.

Shut down the laptop. Tap here to f8 start you toward the top access to the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select "Safe Mode with network" and press ENTER.  Let windows fully load in this mode and see if the Touchpad works in this mode.

If this is the case, download the latest installer Synaptics driver on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp54001-54500/sp54040.exe

Then, open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the entry "Synaptics Pointing Device Driver" and choose uninstall.

Once done, restart the computer and Windows restarts normally - check the Touchpad still works.

If this is the case, open your downloads folder, right-click on the setup of Synaptics and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once done, restart the laptop.

    Kind regards

  • Satellite NB10T-A-101 - mouse pad does not work

I have a touch screen for Toshiba Satellite NB10T-A-101, the touch screen works very well but I use mostly the mouse pad I find using the slider easier.

But recently my guarded cursor freezing for a second or two and then to spend once again, but now the mouse pad seems not working with the left and right click buttons work but not the touchpad.

I made sure the touchpad is enabled in the mouse settings, so I don't really know what to do now.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
    Thank you

    Hello

Have Hmm you also checked the FN + F5 key combination?
This would enable and disable the touchpad as well.

But from my point of view, it would be possible that the touchpad module is malfunctioning.
I m thinking about the hardware malfunction because the touchpad buttons work and just touch the touch work area module doesn't correctly.

Usually, if the touchpad would be handicapped by any software, both; as well as the touch buttons does not work.

  • How can I disable the mouse pad when you use a mouse plug-and-play?

How can I disable the mouse pad when you use a mouse plug-and-play? I tried to disable the driver, and nothing works.

    Hello

Check with support of the manufacturer system, documentation online or forums that there is probably
Shortcut keys that enable and disable the touchpad functions.

Parameters for TouchPad located in the control panel - mouse (there may be several tabs with TouchPad entered)
and some come with a utility that loads in the Notification area next to the clock in the bottom right.

    ==========================================

If necessary: (make sure that you have restarted at least once, if the above did not work)

Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touchpad - the driver tab-
Click on update driver (it comes may not do anything like MS is far behind the drivers of certification), now right CLICK
    on the TouchPad and UNINSTALL.

Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in). RESET

This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB. This does not prevent the touchpad from working.

The similar procedure on XP, Windows 7 and Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific device if present.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310575

Then go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest touchpad drivers.

Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-click on - RUN AS ADMIN.

    I hope this helps.

  • Parameters for the turning off the mouse pad

I have a Pavilion laptop dv7 (P/N VZ500PA #ABG) running Windows 7 and I want to use a mouse with it. I'm not entirely sure what the thing is in front of the keyboard is called (the one used when you do not have a mouse), but I want to know how to change the settings on my computer so that when I turn off the mouse pad thing, it REMAINS off the next time I turn on my computer. I know that it is possible to change the settings to do this, because it allows to do this before you change a lot of settings. It's really annoying that I have to press the button whenever I connect to Windows (if I did, then I find myself accidentally pressing the button as I type and accidentally he then clicks on things).

If anyone can help me I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

I contacted HP support by phone, and even if my laptop is out of warranty, they helped me!

  • How can I activate the scroll function on my laptop mouse pad?

    Hello

My laptop mouse pad is no longer scroll in FireFox or MS Word (or any other program I've tried) since switching from Vista to Windows 7. In the Windows Help section, it suggests that there should be a tab "Scrolling" in the mouse properties window, however, when I opened the window just 4 tabs are "Buttons," "Pointers," "Pointer Options" and "hardware". How can I switch on / activate the scrolling feature?

A few months ago my mousepad stopped working for no. (obviously there must be one) reason. I noticed it after that I started to share music with other computers on our network. At first, I thought that the red light was something to do with it, then I discovered that the little symbol underneath was a mouse pad.

My laptop no button on it that turn the pad on and apart, and properties of the Synaptics said that it works well and is connected to the right channel.
