  First of all, you should try to remove the old driver for touchpad and after you have downloaded the latest version of the driver for touchpad of Toshiba European page driver try to reinstall!

• HP dv6-1355dx Entertainment NB: windows 10 Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad Driver

  I was not able to find a solution to my problem.  Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

  I am currently using a Synaptics V6.5.  My parchment will not work on any program or any request pertaining to Windows 10.  It works on other applications.

  Is there a solution to my problem?  If Yes can you direct me on where to go or advise me on what should be my next step.

  I m do not know what problem describe you exactly.
  Do you mean that your notebook computer touchpad no longer works, or did you mean the USB mouse?

  If you mean touchpad, so you should try to reinstall the driver for the touchpad.
  The European driver Toshiba page provides Synaptics touchpad drivers series Pro U300 for Win XP and Vista.
  But generally the operating system should automatically recognize the touchpad and touchpad should work even using the common internal Windows driver.

  During Microsoft updates on August 14, 2010, I received this error on my HP Pavilion tx2510us Entertainment Notebook PC.

  Do the following and it will be resolved the problem and the error.

  This problem may occur because of incompatible or corrupted touchpad drivers. I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the drivers and see if it helps.

  To uninstall the device drivers, follow these steps:

  a. drag the mouse down to the left and right click on the Start icon.

  b. Select Device Manager.

  c. right-click on the device driver, and then click Uninstall.

  Maybe is your disabled touchpad (FN + F9)? Have you checked the properties of the mouse?

  Please see the following about the Code 24:

  Code 24

  This device is not present, is not working properly or is not all its drivers installed. (Code 24)

  Cause

  The unit is installed incorrectly. The problem may be a hardware failure or a new driver might be needed.

  Devices to stay in this State if they have been prepared for removal. After you remove the device, this error disappears.

  You may need to update your drivers for the touchpad.

  Try to roll back the driver in Device Manager.

  And do not use windows update for drivers if that's what you were doing

  It is not necessary to answer this question, I have managed to sort it out - apparently I had disabled this device and I found the right screen to turn it back on.
