  It looks like the driver for the touchpad stopped working.
  I have no idea why, but I recommend that you install the driver once more.

  Visit the page of the Toshiba UE driver.
  Select your notebook series and download the touchpad driver.
  Then unzip the driver package and install the driver.
  Reboot the laptop and test again.

  Select your product > select your model > Option 2: go directly to the result software and driver > driver-keyboard, mouse and input devices > Synaptics TouchPad Driver

  You should be able to download and reinstall the driver.

  ·        What happens when you click the Yes button in the error message?

  ·        You are able to use the mouse on the system?

  I suggest you uninstall the software from programs and features and then try to open the properties of the mouse and check if you are able to open the mouse properties then I would you recommend to uninstall the drivers that are installed on the system in the Device Manager and then download the drivers from the link below and check if the problem is resolved.

  I'm having a problem with my pointing devices. Both touchpad and battery Point ceases work sometimes for no apparent reason, then him come on again once. I tried to reisntall drivers but not help. I have to use the USB mouse now to for use. Everything seems fine and the system gives no error or so. Says the device works very well. Have used the wizard by default as well, but he just does'nt work. No errors etc...

  I think it might be the button wireless hp as my wireless button / stop does not work.  Fortunately, the wireless is on.  If I push it offshore, the light changes from white to orange, but it's still on.

  I downloaded the driver from sp71707.exe but it seems to have done nothing... the power button / stop wireless still not working and still unknown poster peripheral device manager is missing a driver.

  Can someone tell me which driver I need?   Thank you.

  It happened countless times now, I rolled back driver, Scrybe uninstalled, reinstalled the driver update, nothing works. I can't get in touch with the support of Synaptics. I thought that maybe that's a hardware problem, but the touchpad improvements and xtra work properly in my part of Linux. Anyone else having this trouble, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

  My synaptics touchpad is not working properly my mouse works very well but does not work in every corner of the touchpad for special functions.

  I tried to set it up again but it had no result, also I downloaded a new driver, but it had no results to. My buttons multimedia keys like play/pause or stop are not no longer works.
