Synchronization and Vista 64-bit

I have a Palm TX and Vista 64-bit and having synchronization problems (do not recognize the device when I try to synchronize).  I couldn't install the original/old version of the software (v 4.1.2 I think) and downloaded v 6.2.  Installed, it cannot synchronize.  I tried what you said worked for you by opening the Palm as an administrator, but that made no difference to me.  If anyone knows other alternatives, it would be appreciated.

How you try to synchronize?  Via USB?  It can be done this way, as mentioned in dozens of discussions here...

You have a wireless network set up in your home?  I wrote a file "how to sync a Tx via Wifi with Vista64" above it "sticky" gray display at the top of this section of the forum.   I use this method with my Vista 64 bit laptop easily!

I have partitions installed correctly then they arnt the problem. Hello

Have you installed the right graphics card driver?
The Sat A300-1GN belongs to the PSAGCE series.
    I checked the page of the Toshiba driver and there are two pilots;
I think that you should choose the ATI driver 8.477 display because this driver supports the Mobility Radeon HD 34xx/36xx chips.

Other base system devices could be Bridge Media slot (for SD cards), touchpad, HDMI Control Manager.

I didn't find these drivers 64-bit on Toshiba page. Maybe you should choose some drivers for Vista 32 bit

I have a 200-215 x is the processor, T7500, capable of running Vista 64 bit and it is worth just for Windows Vista to recognize 4 GB of memory, I installed.
    Thank you

    Hello

I think your laptop could support 4 GB of RAM.
If you are unsure, consult your user manual. It should there have mentioned what memory modules are compatible.

But note; that can of OS 64-bit Vista uses the full 4 GB of RAM. The other 32 bit OS can see only 3.2 GB.

If you want to use 4 GB of RAM, you must make sure that the Chipset, BIOS and operating system offers support for 4 GB.

The first is the touch panel works do not at all and the second finger printing system...

It is not easy to say what the problem is here, but I assume that you forgot to install something or you have installed something in the order of poor facilities. If you need the right one let us know.
I can see on Toshiba download page fingerprint software and touchpad drivers are available. If touchpad doesn t work not at all may be turned off. Check with the FN + F9 key combination.

What touchpad driver, you have installed?
Software fingerprint AuthenTec is installed too? can you start and save your fingerprint?

  • Problem with Satellite A300 and Vista 64 bit

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite A300-1CO model: PSAJ4E-03R015PT, which came with an impressive 4 GB of ram device.
I knew with Vista 32-bit, only 3 GB would be available, but since I got a license of Vista 64 bit I care, came home and installed it.
When I looked up the drivers on the toshiba site, no drivers for Vista 64 bit drivers were available!
I have now 4 GB or RAM available and I also have problems with face recognition software, microfone, sound card, card reader and a few other things.

I searched the websites manufactors drivers and I managed to get some of these things barely usable, I don't think that it is a SD solution.
Other laptop brands are made available long drivers for vista 64 bit some of them even for XP 64 bit!

I would like to know how long take to Toshiba do official drivers available for vista 64 bit on their Web site.

    Best regards, Pedro P.

I was looking for 64-bit drivers for my laptop, but since this is a new model, the drivers were not yet available. I checked a few weeks later and they were no longer available.

Just wait awhile, they should be available soon.

  • Satellite A350 - Question about RAM and Vista 32 bit - 64 bit

I bought a Satellite A350 Tiger Direct. He moved with Windows Vista 32 bit.
It is capable in my view up to 8 GB of Ram. Vista 32 bit does support 3.

All reviews on this laptop online say that it came with 64-bit and 400 GB of memory.
Mine came with only 230 GB of memory and 32 bit vista. I ran Belarc advisor, and he tells me that my computer is 64-bit ready.

Is this true? Why is - this me came not with Vista 64 bit?
I want to upgrade my ram but with 32 bits, which is not possible and according to Microsoft you cannot update 32-bit to 64-bit.
So should I buy Vista 64-bit upgrade? (for around 300 euros!). Is this in any way about this?

What are my options? I want 4 GB of Ram or more really bad...

What Satellite A350 do you have exactly?

    AFAIK the most recent series of Toshiba laptop pre-installed a dual operating system;
In this case, you can choose between Vista 32-bit or 64-bit.

To obtain the 64-bit, you will need to restart the laptop and have to press F8.
Here you must choose the option to fix my computer. Then select Toshiba HDD recovery and finally, you should see the option which would be you can toggle between the 32 and 64 bit.

Usually the Vista 32 bit supports 3.2 GB RAM.
Only the 64-bit Vista will be able to recognize 4 GB and more.

  • Question about Satellite L40 and Vista 32 bit

Hey all, I have the following problem.
I have Satellite L40 series 2 PC and tried to install vista ultimate 32 bit, and they freeze only on the process of "complete installation."
I read in some other forums and found it is not only my problem. I tried with 64 bit ultimate, it's all OK. It may be, the main problem is that it is not possible to install VISTA 32 bit.
I only ultimate now, so my question is if anyone knows or installed to another type of Vista 32 bit on these series?

    Thanks before

As far as I know that all new models of Toshiba laptops come with Vista 32 bit. Satellite L40 is offered in three different models, and each one also comes with 32-bit operating system. If you have the recovery DVDs with your laptop is Vista 32 - bit OS. I assume it must be the Home Premium version.

I don't have a model L, but my model works well on Vista Ultimate.

  • Web Cam and Vista 64-bit

My pc running Vista 64 bit does not start until the sex cam plugged USB is unplugged. Once Vista is running that I plug the webcam, the driver is loaded and everything works OK. I agree that it is without great effort by unplugging the web cam, but anyone have an idea as to the reason? I used this webcam on Vista 32 bit with no problems.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. Now I gave up my quest. I accept the fact that my web cam can be connected until after the pc has been started. Is there something in the bios that seems to only detect cam and webcam sex and decided to stop. I tried all the tips suggested without success. I think that the customer service at HP guys can know more they say. When the problem has been given to them they responded immediately by blaming Vista 64-bit. The impression I got was that it was, for them, a common problem. I have Windows 7 on a second HD on my pc and the same problem exists. The common factor is the bios on the pc.

  • Sharing a Kodak printer between win 7 64 bit and vista 32 bit

I have a kodak esp 3 printer connected to a vista 32 bit desktop pc. I share this printer on a wireless network in my house. I try to print from a laptop 64-bit windows 7, but failed to add this network printer to the computer windows 7. I think all I need are the x 64 drivers and add them via the systems vista printer properties.

We now print by saving the document in the "Shared Documents" folder of mobile access and then print from the vista machine.

After three long chat, phone and e-mail conversations with the technical support of kodak, what they say is this printer can't print wireless.

They do not understand, it is a shared network printer, and I'm not trying to print directly to the printer via wi - fi, because I know that that does not support this printer.

Any help, advice or where I could get a kodak 64 bit print driver would thank you very much

Hi, I had not checked on this for a while, I couldn't get anywhere with x 64 drivers for Kodak for us would simply send documents on the Vista desktop, and then print them. So finally last night I upgraded the Office to Win 7, the upgrade price on Amazon is great-now $89, all problems are solved, put in place a homegroup print, share files and listen to music and video. Big difference in the performance of old desktop of 3 years. I should have done this 6 months he is a. sorry I have no solution to the original problem. Thanks - Matt

  • OfficeJet 4315 and vista 64-bit

I'm transferring my officejet 4315 from a computer windows xp on a computer on windows vista (64-bit).  I find the drive on the HP site, however, once the download is complete, the file disappears from the download window. A search of the computer does not find the file either.  HP Total care is incapable of solving the problem and it's not even a cd for the driver.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can use this printer with my new computer.  Thank you - Olivia

I just added an hp F4135 to a vista hp 9552f 64 bytes, use the original installation disk of the printer and follow the intructions, when the computer tells you to stop DO NOT remove the disc from the drive.  There are approximately 8 steps that will make the model.  Even thoughj you get msg saying printer is ready.  Wal until all steps have been completed. etc. (estimated time of completion about 30-45 min.)   the pilot is not for download.  How ever it should be included under the printer in Control Panel.      Good luck

  • Tecra M3 and Vista 32 - bit hibernate white screen

    Hello:

I have the Tecra M3 running great of Vista Enterprise 32-bit.

However, when the Tecra goes into hibernation in Vista, I can't go out there the hibernation mode. By pressing the power button, any key, space bar, move the mouse, click the mouse or CTRL-ALT-DEL does not work.

I can only get out of hibernation by pressing and holding down the power button for 5-15 seconds to restart the Tecra.

I have all the latest drivers installed on Toshiba site including the NVIDIA Display Driver Version 7.15.11.5663 for Windows Vistadriver_display_nvidia_os2007303a.

I read recently that, if this problem occurs, you must perform a BIOS update.

    Go here: http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com

And check if you have installed the latest version of the BIOS. If this is not the case, the update.

  • browsers (IE8, Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera) 32-bit and Vista 64-bit

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion dv2842se. I've had a little more than a year. IE 7 was originally installed with a version 32-bit and 64-bit. Not long after that I got it, the 32-bit version stops working. More specifically, as soon as I open the program it would be closed and completely unusable. I couldn't understand the question, so I installed Mozilla Firefox 32 bit and just used that. When the update of IE 8 came out, I downloaded and still had the same problem, so I continued to use Firefox.

With the help of Mozilla has worked for me until about two weeks ago, when Mozilla started to become more and more reliable and now completely unusable. Assuming that it was a specific problem of Mozilla, I downloaded the 32-bit versions of Chrome and Opera and finished with all versions of four 32-bit navigation programs are the same.

I realize that I can simply use the 64 bit version of IE8, as I did since I have no choice. However, there is a big problem with this. IE8 does not support Adobe Flash Player, which is required to run virtually all Web sites - including on the main site I use for my college classes. As the main reason that I bought this computer was for College, my computer as a whole is pretty useless to me without a functional browser that supports Adobe Flash Player.

By the statement of HP, I tried to disable all add-ons, reset all internet settings and uninstall then reinstall Adobe Flash Player. I even on my own I've tried a system restore and scanned for viruses, spyware and software malware. Nothing has worked.

Please, please, please if there is absolutely everything I can do to restore my browsers 32 bit in a usable state, please help me. I really do not have the money to buy a new computer, and 64-bit operating systems are almost now - standard, so there is no saying that if I bought a new computer for the same thing does not happen everywhere.

Thanks for any help you can provide! It is much appreciated!

    Hi guys,.

Paul - try to uninstall IE8 and run a startup repair.  If the Startup Repair cannot take care of the problem, try to do a repair on the System Installation.

    1 uninstall Adobe Flash Player:

If you have a Windows Vista installation disc:

    1. Insert the installation disc.

    2. restart your computer.

Click the Start button, click the arrow next to the button lock and then click on restart.

    3. If you are prompted, press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.

If you do not have the Windows Vista DVD and have only the recovery media, you know someone who has the exact same Version of Vista like you who has the Vista DVD?  If so, borrow their DVD but do "not" to use their product key, use your if requested a product key.  If you don't have or can't get a Vista DVD, the following steps will not work with the recovery media and you may be forced to do a clean install.

    Repair facility:

You can reinstall your copy of Vista while keeping your files, settings and programs by performing a repair install or an upgrade on the spot with the following steps: (Note: this does not always solve all the problems, especially if the corruption was caused by a 3rd party program or service, you may need to do a clean install) If this is not successful)

  • Classic question: SSL VPN Client and Vista 64 - bit OS

Material: 64-bit software architecture: Windows Vista Home Cisco Hardware (64-bit): 871w router Cisco Software: base of 12.4 T having a challenge with Windows Vista (64) using the SSL VPN. Use of IE, I can navigate to the url, both using the DNS name and IP address. I do not have a signed certificate, so I get the standard warning screen where you will need to click on the red x to continue. At this point, the progress bar moves for a fraction of a second and it's there. For troubleshooting I tried: - clearing cookies, cache, etc. - add url and IP to the Zone of confidence - reset areas rest default - disabled options window popup and phisher IE7 - off all 3rd party Manager BHO - withdrawal of MacAfee software suite - disable User Control that allowed me to make the sign in page, but after the signature - I had a blank white screen. Then, I downloaded Firefox 3.0 (newer) and tried to connect. After a series of guests to accept and download the certificate, I was able to connect and click on the Start button to start the session. The next little screen came as expected and he chose Java. I received a message that it could not install the Cisco AnyConnect Client's and I had to download it manually. Downloaded and installed the client software. Logging out of the browser and its closure - I could not access the page again. It appeared to hang again with a progress bar. I went to empty cache, cookies, passwords etc in Firefox and reloaded the application. Still, I was able to connect. However, I always received the message that the customer could not install and download manually. For fun, I exported the certificate on the desktop and imported into Internet Explorer. I tried the connection with IE, but he had a similar problem. I was told there was no client IPSEC for OS 64 bit (Vista at startup), but most of the new machines are 64 - bit OS systems. I would appreciate any support. Lucky me, the computer to which it is impossible to connect to the VPN is the home of the CEO of the company. The last person that wants to make him miserable.

Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client is now available for the Windows operating systems, which includes Vista 32 and 64 bit. The Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client, Version 2.2 supports SSL and DTLS. It does not support IPSec at the moment.
