Synchronization of

Hello! Are we in 2016 or 1998? (x) I bought an iPhone last year, this is the first time that I plug it to my computer I want to transfer my iPhone to my computer photos, to free up space. I opened iTunes and it asks me to sync my iPhone. I try to do, but it asks me to authorize my computer. I do it, then he asks me again to authorize my computer, I do it again, and he ask me! I followed the help of Apple and it process, I finally got a message saying that my computer is already allow and by allowing again, I use my 2nd authorized computer. The only thing I can do is press OK. What the *? Why it use 2 of 5 permission to computer on the same computer? in any case, I thought it worked well but NO! He ask me to allow my computer! What am I supposed to do with this stupid program?

The last time I used iTunes was at the time with my iPod Touch 3rd generation. She sucked while I hated it. I was hoping it would be a lot better today, but no! It's worse!

To be honest, do not synchronize no matter what if you wanted to do was to import photos from the iPhone to the computer. You need to install iTunes for drivers, but all he had to do after that was importing the photos and he would have relieved you of the whole issue. Since you can have up to 5 authorized devices, having only two really won't be a problem for you.

I've updated to itunes version 12.5.1, as well as Windows 10.  If I let my ipod classic finish syncing, everything on the ipod is removed.  So I have to restore the ipod in disk mode so that itunes recognizes the ipod and avoid itunes gel settings.  I found the only way to keep my music is to stop synchronization before it ends or the entire contents of the ipod is removed, and I'll have to go through the process of restoring ipod to factory settings again.  During synchronization, I disable the Windows 10 firewall and anti virus as Apple support told me that it could interfere with itunes.  What is - this with the finishing of sync that removes my ipod?

It's weird...  Hard drive it is possible to the iPod becomes unreliable and is damaged during the synchronization process.  What happens if you set it up to only synchronize a small number of songs, instead of "all"?  For example, on the settings screen of music from iPod in iTunes, rather than choose to synchronize the entire musical library, choose the option to synchronize playlists, artists, albums, and genres, and select only a SINGLE album.  These songs always get deleted at the end of synchronization?

  • Synchronization of photos for the records of several PC iPAD

    Hello

I have pictures in several files in my PC.

I would like to synchronize all at once to my iPAD.

When I opened "Synchronize the Photos" - page in iTunes, it is possible to select only a single folder.

Is it possible to select several folders?

    Peter

If the records are directly under the same parent folder then you should be able to select this parent folder at the top of this screen of Photos and records of the child must be indicated below (if you select "Selected folders") for the selection and timing of the iPad for example

If files are located on your computer, then no, you will not be able to select and synchronize them with your iPad - I created a folder separated (with specific subfolders for holidays/events) for the photos that I have synced my iPad

  • Backup iphone to mac, but am trying to get you want to synchronize.

I have backup my iphone to icloud, but I want to be very sure and also create a backup itunes periodically.  So I read about it and it seems pretty easy.  But I have a question:

When I connect my iphone 6 to my iMac, iTunes open, because it asks me to authorize the computer, I see up on step 3 (I think it's #3) «Sync iPhone...» "and underneath it says"determine what applications to synchronize. "BUT, I don't want to 'sync', I want only to save.  I unplugged the power cord and it stopped in its tracks.

My question, why is it automatically attempt to synchronize before I have a chance to start the backup?  IS this a normal behavior?

And I don't want anything from my Mac on my iphone.

    Thank you!

Probably because you have iTunes automatically sync value. I think that's the default behavior. I do not use Mac, but in Windows, you're going in Edition > Preferences > devices and you put a check mark prevent auto-sync iPhones. There must be a similar setting for Mac. Which should help you to find a way to find out.

Once you do this, you can connect the device and not to worry about synchronization and then simply click on the Save button after selecting the phone.

Also, if I've updated all of the albums and photos was moving on my Mac how do I know synchronization happens? I leave pictures open for synchronization to continue?

Finally, I made changes to the photo album on my Mac before, IE 09:30 02/10/16. But when I out Photos and go to my folder where the library is stored, it is said the last change took place yesterday at 13:40. He shouldn't say 09:30 10/02/16? Greetings Advanced User,.

I understand that when you try to synchronize your entire library of music from iPhone 6, only half of the library transferred in fact more. I listen to my music on a daily basis, so I can understand your concern. We'll see what we can do.

First of all, please exit and restart iTunes and restart the iPhone. Then I want you to do, if you have not already, should make sure that you have "Sync music" and "Entire library of music" checked when you go to sync music on your iPhone in iTunes.

  • iPhone 6 Plus (iOS 10.0.2) does not synchronize Photos via iTunes (12.5.1.21) on OSX Sierra

  • IPod Classic 160g shows no music after synchronization.

I tried reformatting and restoring. Sometimes I can get a few albums will appear on the ipod, mainly purchased itunes music. Almost none of my CD from my library will not work. It's maybe a hard disk problem. I just want to have some opinion or if someone could have the same question. It started after making the mistake of syncing with itunes after the last update. Forgive me for wanting to add new music. Here are my stats hard drive...

    Retracts: 9

    Reallocation: 16376

    Sectors pending: 0

    PowerOn hours: 143

    Start/stop: 47707

    Temp: current 29

    Temp: Min 5 c

    Temp: Max 56 c

Do not know your stats, but it is not specifically a drive problem hard if your iTunes Store purchased songs to the iPod and your CD songs imported synchronization are not.  iTunes doesn't care of the original source when it syncs the songs.

Do you use the method to Manage manual (drag and drop songs on iPod in iTunes) or Auto Sync (setting synchronization music )?  You get an error message after synchronization?

Find one of the songs that will not sync to your iTunes library.  Make a right click on it and read the information.  Tab Info to file window, browse to the location.  It shows a file path to its location on your disk, or does it mean something else there, like iCloud.  Depending on the configuration of your iTunes, it is possible for you to access your songs streaming from Apple servers ("iCloud").  But to synchronize the songs on your iPod, your files must be stored locally on your disk.

If this isn't the problem and/or your iPod hard drive is defective, you can consider to replace flash storage, in the form of widely available card compact flash or a card SDXC, on an adapter.  The 5th generation and later "classic" iPods, this website contains relevant information.
