  Is there a way to synchronize address books for groupwise and 8350i included nextel direct connect information?

  Mapping has resolved the problem. GroupWise has no corresponding to 'Direct Connect' field. To facilitate data entry, I traced the Direct Connect field in my 8350i with paginator field in my groupwise address books. Now Synchronization Manager BB the nextel direct connect #'s.

  The steps are:

  In the upper frame of the BB desktop, select Configuration synchronization; address book; Advanced; Field Mapping (bottom of list). Map an unused field in the address book of GW with the direct connect field in the 8350i.

  I assumethis would also work with outlook and others.

  I use Thunderbird at home, but use my Ipad to send Emails when outdoors. I don't want to get into all my contacts manually, so how do I copy them to my Ipad contacts folder?

  I don't know anything about the iPad, but the question boils down to:

  (a) which can import the request or the iPad e-mail address book?
  (b) whose answers to (a) bogus Thunderbird generate?

  Thunderbird can generate files LDIF and CSV with an appropriate add-on, vCard files. How would physically load you these in the iPad, even if they were compatible? Is viable wifi or bluetooth heat transfer between the two devices?

  The iPad can sync with any system of external contacts, such as the Google Contacts?

  This article gives suggests that some Apple products can work with data in CSV, LDIF and vCard.

  I suspect that the most likely approach vCards that works is to send attachments to email in Thunderbird, and to open and accept vCards on the iPad.

  I installed outlook 2007 and I already transferred my email accounts and my emails from outlook express.

  I have a problem with the address book.
  I can't import it not entirely because it is some folders inside the address book who are not giving in to outlook contacts.
  Only the "main identity" contacts are successfully transfer.

  Can you please advise me if there is a solution?

  Hello...

  When you sort your address book in Outlook, search for addresses without a name user or null values. By sorting in your Outlook contacts, you can sort by clicking on the headers. I'd look for any type of anomaly where an address missing data in the name field or address empty. My guess is it has something to do with Outlook contacts.

• BlackBerry smartphone address book RSET wiped all contacts not only most unwanted

  I'm on a v5.0.0.681 running Curve 8520.

  I recently added an account of electronic mail for my wife. Adding, authorized contacts to be synchronized in.  After deleting the e-mail account, his list of contacts remained (all1700 of them) flooding my contacts.

  I read on these forums using RSET in address book Options would remove the list. He has done, but also deleted all my contacts.  There is no back upwards on a PC or on my SIM card.  I can't even add contacts manually because they refuse to register.

  Any ideas on how to retrieve my contacts, or at least to allow them to be re - enter manually?

  I myself have solved now.

  The problem was that making the RSETE he got rid of BB phone's address book. Actually, address book has not been installed.

  We have started to implement the books and I was able to create all workflows must assign accounts and Contacts to their books requested through group transfer.
  
  The issue I'm having is that I don't want to not create then a workflow for prospects, opportunities ect is a workflow that you can indicate if a record is modified or created Sync with Parent (account) record and assign Parent book.
  
  I hope that there is something like that, otherwise I could be creating workflows 20 + just to get the book of the business functioning.

  I have 2 suggestions for you, the value of 1 join field happening the type of account on the contact record, but which cannot work if you create the contact of registration account. Or what I've done in the past, it is installed an Internet link that jumps the field type of account on the contact record but they can create contacts fromt his Internet link. Then, you hide the field on the contact page of view but make visible to you and write the workflow on this.

  Personal and collected address books are the books by default and cannot be deleted.
  You can select all the contacts in the book of MAC and move them to the personal address book.
  Select a contact in the MAC book. Press Ctrl + a to select. Drag them into the personal book and drop them there.

  It's called "AutoComplete".
  Windows Mail remembers the LAST 29 names that you used for emailing.
  Next time when you type, say, B in the column to, Windows Mail the research paper and displays a list of names began with the letter B. The list may include names not in your contact list, but you sent e-mail to the names.
  That must be the reason why you saw an address that was not in your contacts list. You have sent an email to this address.
  Remember, Windows Mail keeps only the last 29 names. So finally the 'undesirables' addresses will be gradually.

  Windows in Windows XP address book has been replaced by Windows Contacts in Windows 7.

  If you have performed a custom installation of Windows 7, please visit:how restore personal after having performed a custom Windows Vista or Windows 7 installation

  To get the address book from Windows XP to Windows 7, you need to export the list of contacts of the Widnows XP computer first and then import the file to Windows 7.  If you want to export the address book from Windows XP and import it into Windows 7, please see the following steps:

  a. launch Outlook Express in Windows XP and click on file > export > address book

  b. export the address book to a text (.csv) file

  c. Select Save the location and all the contact information you want to export, and then click Finish.

  To import contacts in Windows 7, go to the link below and follow the steps:
