  I had a very big problem with the synchronization settings iCloud interfering with my server synchronization. I'm in an office of 29 BYO Apple laptops in my Mac server. We have worked with this setup for years. We moved recently to Exchange for our mail server so I added all the Exchange profile to the Profile Manager and added the name of the account with '[Exchange]' so that they don't get confused that we were still in the process of migrating emails. A few weeks later, I decided to change that and has deleted this text as we did with the migration and the clarification was not necessary. I made sure to go to the computer of everyone and they don't de-s' register and re-register (I know that's not necessary but to keep the long story short, I leave the superfluous details). Most of the time, everything works fine. However, sometimes a system will just stop with the synchronization server profiles. When I go in the system of this person, I'll see what the email account with Annex [Exchange] is back. Because the connection account information are exactly the same, it prevents the server anything inside this synchronization profile. My only assumption is that the re-emergence of this story comes from the iCloud synchronization. I'm sure that because if I UN - enroll in this system, all the accounts given by the server disappear, leaving just one account. So, I delete and re-register this system and everything goes back to work normally.

  I hope that all made sense. It basically happens to everyone eventually, and sometimes repeat users. I can't ask my users to stop using iCloud because they use it for a lot of personal things, but this is starting to become quite annoying. Everyone has this or a similar issue or know a fix?

  Hello. I have iOS 9.2 on my iPad 2 Air and OS X El Capitan on my MacBook Pro. My Safari bookmarks on my Mac with iCloud sync, but I have a few problems of synchronization of my safari bookmarks on my iPad. They sync out of order, or synchronize incomplete (compared to what I have on my Mac, which is the latest version).

  I already disabled safari on my iPad (settings > iCloud > Safari) and selected the option 'remove' the data previously synchronized iCloud Safari on my iPad. When I switched back on safari on my iPad and waited a few minutes for synchronization to occur, my favorites were 90% agree, but some bookmarks were unserviceable and other bookmarks were missing in some of the tabs. I tried also to browse some Web sites in my favorites to see if forcing a fresh synchronization, but it did not help.

  I would like to have the bookmarks on my iPad to be the same as the bookmarks on my Mac.

  Before, when I got iOS 8 and the Mavericks, they have always been in good sync, but now they are not.

  I use iCloud drive to keep all my synchronized and accessible files between my Mac and iPad.  I found that the alias files I use in the system do not appear in iCloud.com or other computers.  I use the alias feature to reduce the file size on my computer for my genealogy Articles.

  ...? How did this the size of the file downwards? Aliases are just a pointer to the original file, to remember anyway. Even if you were able to synchronize alias through with other devices, they are meaningless, unless the file is also present there and in exactly the same directory and structure under the same username as on the first computer (which will not apply on an iPad). I don't know about the specific case of iCloud and alias but another sync service do not handle their property for this purpose, so I would not be surprised to see that they have been blocked.

  I recently discovered I was missing a few old photos Photos Apple and iCloud. It's about a years of photos from 2014. I think they disappeared right around the time Apple dropped iPhoto and switched to the photo program. I was able to locate the photos in my old iPhoto Library and was able to import them to Apple pictures - so I have them on my computer - but they are not automatically synchronized to iCloud.

  I would like to have all my photos stored in iCloud - I searched the FAQ and user forums but could not find a description of this particular problem.

  a few thoughts - but with so little information we can only make assumptions

  1 - get up-to-date - you say you have OS X 10.10.5 - you are six updates behind - the latest version is El Captain OS X 10.11.6 - it have many bug fixes and many new features

  2 communicate. us your iCloud and on Mac and on every IOS device status settings

  3 - iCloud is not a backup, is a synchronization service - you need a system with the downloaded original and a backup in addition to the iCloud photo library
