I try to install the NISysMon API using the link OR system monitor download here the knowledge base article:

http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/C67D5C1D64E77E1D862575780060CFCF

In the Readme I don't see CVI as an interface supported and when I load the driver, everything what is responsible is the side of LabView.

I get no loaded NISysMon.h file.

The installation charge nisysmon.h program?

Should I try re - install?

The installation program will automatically put in the .h, and .dll file.  My .h file is located in C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\Shared\ExternalCompilerSupport\C\include and my niSysMon.dll is located in C:\Windows\System32.

Things you can do to solve the slow Downs

If your computer seems to run slower, here are some things you can do:

Start in Safe Mode , and then repair your hard disk and permissions:

Fix the hard disk and permissions before Lion

Boot from your OS X install disk. After the installer loads, choose your language and click on the button continue. When the menu bar appears select utility drive in the Utilities menu. After that the charges of THE select your entry from hard drive (mfgr. ID and car size) in the list on the left.  In the status area, you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is faulty or has failed. (State SMART is not reported on external drives Firewire or USB). If the drive is "verified", then select your OS X volume in the list on the left (subentries under the entry for the road), click the first aid tab, then click the repair disk button. If THE reports any errors that have been corrected, and then run repair disk again until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, click repair permissions. Wait until the operation is complete, then exit FROM and return to the installer.

Repair the hard drive - Lion-Lion/mountain/Mavericks

    HD recovery start:

Restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and hold down the COMMAND and R until it appears the screen of Menu utilities. Otherwise, restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and hold down the OPTION key until the Boot Manager screen. Select recovery HD disk icon and click on the button below.

When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility. If THE reports any errors that have been corrected, and then run repair disk again until no errors are reported. If no error is not reported, then click repair permissions. Wait until the operation is complete, then exit FROM and return to the main menu. Select restart from the Apple menu.

Restart your computer normally and see if it helped at all. Then do little maintenance:

For disk utility can't handle situations, the best third party is Disk Warriorutility;  Fixed DW only for problems with the disk directory, but most disk problems are caused by the corruption of directory; Warrior drive 4.x is now compatible with Intel Mac.

Note: Alsoft ships DW on a bootable DVD that will boot Mac running Snow Leopard or earlier. He cannot start Mac that came with Lion or later preinstalled, however, DW will work on these models.

    Suggestions for OS X maintenance

OS X performs certain maintenance functions that are supposed to take place on a daily, weekly, or monthly period. Maintenance scripts that are run at the beginning AM only if the computer is turned on 24/7 (no sleep). If this isn't the case, then a great solution is to download and install a shareware like Macaroni, JAW PseudoAnacronor Anacron utility that will automate the maintenance regardless of whether activity if the computer is off or asleep.  Dependence on third-party utilities to run periodic maintenance scripts has been significantly reduced since Tiger.  These utilities have little or no functionality with Snow Leopard or later version, and must not be installed.

OS X automatically defrags files smaller than 20 MB in size, so unless you have a disk full of very large files it little need to defragment the hard drive.

Under no circumstances should you install operating MacPaw or ZeoBit software (CleanMyMac/CleanMyDrive or Mac Keeper, respectively.) You don't need special software to keep your computer.

Difficulty a few pop ups browser that supported Safari

Common pop - ups include a message saying that the Government has taken over your computer and you pay release (often called "Moneypak"), or a false message saying that your computer has been infected and you need to call a number of tech support (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it to be resolved. First of all, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and that your computer has not been assigned. This "hack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so don't pay not money, call number, or provide personal information. This article will give an overview of the solution to remove the pop-up window.

    Quit Safari

Usually, these pop-ups will not go by clicking 'OK' or 'Cancel '. In addition, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in grey, including the option to leave Safari. You'll probably force quit Safari. To do this, press command + option + ESC, select Safari, press on force quit.

    Relaunch Safari

If you restart Safari, the page will reopen. To avoid this, hold the "Shift" key when opening Safari. This will prevent windows since the last time that Safari was running since the reopening.

It will not work in all cases. The SHIFT key must be maintained at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window is displayed again. In these circumstances, after force quit Safari, turn off Wi - Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then restart Safari normally. He'll try to reload the malicious Web page, but without a connection, it will not be able to. Leave this page by entering a different URL, i.e. www.apple.com and try to load it. Now you can reconnect to the Internet and the page that you entered is displayed rather than the malicious.

    Troubleshooting Applications

I recommend that you download a utility such as TinkerTool System, OnyX, Mavericks Cache Cleaneror hiding a Cocktail that you can use to delete the former newspapers and archives, cleaning, etc. Corrupted cache, logs or temporary files can slow down the application or OS X crashes and panics of the kernel.

If you have leopard snow or leopard, then for similar repairs install Applejackfreeware utility.  If you do not start in OS X, you can boot into single-user mode , where you can run Applejack to make a set of routines for repair and maintenance of the command line.  Note that it takes 1.5 AppleJack for Leopard. AppleJack 1.6 is compatible with Snow Leopard. Applejack does not work with Lion and later versions.

    Basic backup

For some people, Time Machine will be more than enough. Time Machine is part of Mac OS X. There are two components:

    1. a panel of Time Machine preferences as part of the system of preferences;

    2. a request for Time Machine, located in the Applications folder. It's

used to manage backups and restore backups. Time Machine

requires a backup drive that is at least twice the capacity of the

    drive being backed up.

You can also get an external drive at least equal to the size hard disk internal and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the disk utility's restore option. You can also create and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (the order is not significant):

    1 Carbon Copy clone

    2. get backup

    3 already seen

    4 superDuper!

    5. Synk Pro

    6. Tri-Backup

Visit The FAQ XLab and read the FAQ on the backup and restore.  Also read How to back up and restore your files. For using Time Machine, visit FAQ Time Machine of Pondini for help with all this time Machine.

    Additional tips

Make sure you have a sufficient amount of RAM installed for the number of applications you run simultaneously. Make sure to leave a minimum of 10% of the capacity of the hard disk as free space.

Add more RAM. If your computer less than 2 GB of RAM and you use OS X Leopard or later, then you can do it with more RAM. Snow Leopard and Lion works much better with 4 GB of RAM that is their system. Most concurrent applications, that you tend to use the more RAM you should have.

Always have at least 15 GB, or 10% of the capacity of your hard disk as free space, the largest. OS X frequently accesses your hard disk, so offering enough free space will keep things slow down.

Check for applications that may be hogging the CPU:

    Before Mavericks

Open the activity monitor in the Utilities folder.  Select all processes in the drop process .  Click the % CPU column heading twice to display in descending order.  If find you a process that uses a large amount of time processor (> = 70,) then select the process, and then click the quit icon in the toolbar.  Click the force quit button to kill the process.  See if that helps.  Don't forget to mention the name of the runaway process, so you can find the cause of the problem.

    Mavericks and later versions

Open the activity monitor in the Utilities folder.  Select all processes in the menu display .  Click the CPU tab in the toolbar.

This problem occurs often because of a corrupted cache or the preferences file or an attempt to write in a corrupted log file.

Reinnstalling the API does not help, gets everything just the same.

I don't have time to re-innstall labview, which simply takes a whole day. Does anyone know how to fix this? What's something corrupt in Labview?

The OS is 8.1 WIN, and the Norwegian language. Before, I never had these issues (a WIN7 English) but after a computer breakdown, I needed to hurry and could only replace it quickly with WIN 8.1 Norwegian.

Please see the attached images for examples

Due to no feedback, and it became horrible to work with I did the following:

Reinnstalled all of NOR - did not work. Thereason discovered was that I should have removed Configuration system API 14.5 first front of re-innstallation.

Taken at all NOR then innstall a fresh innstall - worked.

It was with System Configuration API 14.5. I do not dare to innstall the 14.5 API now and keep the 14.0 provided with my innstallation Professor of labview.

Although it is strange that the location of your documents is

    Instead of

    C:\Users\Steve\Documents

This result shows that the "My Documents" icon on your desktop is a shortcut and not the actual file with your documents.  The icon on your desktop has a blue arrow, like this:

If you delete this icon, you should get a message like this:

As long as the 'shortcut' word is in the message "Are you sure", everything you delete is a shortcut and not your actual files... so go ahead and delete it.  You can then create a new shortcut or just use the 'Documents' shortcut located on the start menu:

I am a university student and I study computer and engineering

I study computing by night - and Yes, your assignment is interesting - I just
hope that you are a student of day - it looks like a lot of work ;)

The project description is very long, so I remove part. My Dear Sirs of question and
Madams is on the screen of the software. My teacher say that I first is "basic".

I did a job on this point-so here's. First things first - never, never turn off
your monitoring software - I know, it is a student project, but it is recommended. Not
Instrumentation and Metrology is like flying in the clouds with no radar and
    not even a bubble level.

For Unixen, standard utilities are sar, iostat, vmstat - you can Google all these and
no doubt, you will be able to ask his colleagues on these.

For Windows, there is sysinternals.com - there is a way of logging the output of
SQL Server, but I don't know how - they support forums.

The problem with the standard * nix utility is that it is not an easy way to feed
the data in a database for storing long-term or graphics. I found a great
tool called dstat - python Open Source - it will pull a truck full of out parameters
a .csv according to the frequency of your choice - you can then configure an external table
on the server of your choice - I used Oracle XE and PostgreSQL - and the parcel and
    analyze to your heart's content.

Then there are tools like Nagios, Zenoss, Zabbix (Google "Open Source monitoring tools"
and you will have more than you can handle - I assume that the interest in open source
extend to other software - even if you use Windows;).

If your instructor insists on the fact that you only use 'free' tools (Holy War), there are many
things out there. You might want to take a look at sysstat (c. good for the)
standard * nix tools)-pity my C was not good enough to feed the output into
a database - if you think about it, SQLite would be ideal.

A word about SQLite - it is not multi - user - it's great at what he does, but
This is a blocking server - a process can write at the same time. This makes
He ideal * as "once every 5 minutes ' data bank of information, surveillance
but totally unsuitable as a general purpose database. If I were you, I would
Try and persuade my instructor to use as your storage engine for your
Given the performance of the operating system - but if I were you, I would drop as part of your hand
    the study.

This happens every time, any monitor I appointed as my primary monitor. I made a new installation of Windows 7 (low first hard drive upgrade) (x 64), all my drivers by the Web sites of manufacturers and Windows Update, installed updated Firefox 5.0.1 with no Add-ons and it still happens. If I swap which monitor is my main, the problem follows the secondary monitor. I was running an ATI Radeon HD 4870 and suspected the map (because ATI blows and do not support one of their cards to Professional workstation that comes in my PC caught fire and has less than a year and a half old), so I went out and bought a new PNY GTX card 460SSC, downloaded the latest drivers and the problem persists. • System API for Configuration management configuration

    Hi all

I've been playing around with the API system configuration for now a bit and I see it as a great way for companies to use as part of a management of global configuration utility. For example, if a customer wishes to put in place a new rack test with the same alias configuration, hardware and software OR installed then the API system configuration helps with most of this. I have already created a simple utility that can be used to query the currently installed hardware (of a local or remote system) and then programmatically rename aliases based on a file loaded configuration or manual entry. Similarly, the import/export of MAX features can also be used. My application of this would be mainly non - RT and for most of the PXI products, but a good design could work for both.

So, my question to the community is actually on the side where I did not use the API of the System Configuration, but that makes a request of the software installed on a system. The software querying functionality of the Configuration API of the system is really only targets of RT and not the controllers based on Windows-oriented. I would like to be able to export a list of the software/drivers installed on an older system and then compare it with what is installed on a new system to make it easier for customers to determine if they have everything you need. I know that the export of MAX or the report has a list of installed software, but is this analysis of the best way to get the software installed (it's a beast of a file)? Someone at - it a better method?

    Kind regards

Not sure if the VI attached will work across different Windows operating system because it uses a powershell command and I don't know how well the used command will work in all 32/64-bit applications... But so far this small VI I came with is the software I want to interrogate. I hope that it is useful for others and, as always, suggestions for improvement are welcome!

  • Non-blocking with Perl VI API monitor task

I was looking at the documentation for the API, but also the code example and there are many examples which have helped me understand how to do #1 and to some extent #3 by calling SuspendVM() on the managed virtual computer object (see my sample code "Option 1").  But it is not perfect for #3 and does not allow me to do #2 at all.  API documentation leads me to believe that I should be able to use SuspendVM_Task() on the virtual computer object for a task monitor-a measure of object (see 'Option 2') in my sample code.)

However, I can't understand how to use this object task to track progress.  I think it must be something like "Block monitor" in my code, but that doesn't seem to work.  Watching a dump of the task object, "info" property seems to not even be there.  I can bless the object to its class real slot (instead of the generic ManagedObjectReference, it starts as), but then the property of the info is just empty.

The main problem you'll have is the power of the power supply unit (PSU).  It does not say in the specs, but I think it will be 250W or 300W.  If so, it is not enough power for a good mid-level video card that supports two monitors.  I normally recommend at least 500W to 550W.  That's enough to allow future improvements as well.  The main reason is that gives you more choices of cards.  When you install the video card, the embedded video should be disabled automatically.  It is not available when a card is installed.

I like XFX, BFG, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY in that order.  You should stay less than 9 "long.  This ensures the card to insert in space without problems.  At this point, my preference is the AMD/ATI cards.  They have their Catalyst Control Center Suite that allows you to control the speed of the fan and overclock the card if you wish.  Don't forget, more speed equals more heat.  The map in the link I provided is a good example of what you need.  It does not have the power, but it will be at least 400W.  Read the reviews to see what they have to say.

  • Requirement of minimal operating system API

    Hi all, I have a n00bish question!

In the API document, she said "since the BlackBerry API 6.0.0" does that mean that it only works for BlackBerry with OS 6.0.0 or older? Or again, it will work on OS 5.0.0 and down as well?

  • The CIC API monitoring

    Hello

CN anyone please help with monitoring IceLib

    Thank you

    Hi Rowan-

If you place a Foglight Agent Manager on the host computer, where they are running you can use the AppMonitor agent to monitor the

use of resources and the availability of these executables. Otherwise if they are .NET applications, you can use the agent of .NET. I hope this helps.

  • IP address of the source system in monitoring SOA

    Hello

I want to make a list of witnesses where all source IP addresses will be there who ever called my services to soa server.

Is there any soa server log that allows to capture such data.

    I am using soa 11g.

    Thanks in advance

    Well,.

It depends what endpoints of service for "monitor." If you want to only capture incoming requests to the HTTP binding, you can use the access.log soa_server1/logs folder in your domain record. If you have SST as reverse proxy, use the web server access history.

  • Installation of the application with the engine running and system Config API kills many services OR

If I have an empty Windows 10 computer and install LabVIEW 2015 SP1f5 Run-time-Engine, then System Configuration 15.3.

I see that several OR services are running OK on the machine subsequently:

However, if I can install a built (LabVIEW 2015SP1) app - using an installer which includes also the 2015 SP1f5 RTE and the configuration of the system API 15.3, five services will not start and cannot be started manually either (affecting all the services into recovery mode restart fails too). Error code when you try to manual start is 1068 that indicates they are missing a dependency, but * any * of them will start...

I suspect that is the reason that neither Max 15.3 ends with a timeout during the peripheral configuration warning - AND my use of RAD / system configuration set image function is a failure...

Why the hell the same software support (which should really be installed in all cases, the application itself must be installed) has this devastating beats me. The only way to obtain the services of backup and running is to uninstall everything, even to delete all files remaining and records... and then reinstall the original RTÉ and SysConfigs.

The problem seems to be a sort of obscure corruption both of my computers for development... I took the same source code and built the installer on a third computer with all the same IDE versions, and voila - everything works well.

It would be good to know exactly what the problem is, but for now at least, I have a solution... (hopefully fix my machines and/or before you wipe them clean and reinstall the IDE together on them will get back on track...) Without knowing what the cause was however makes me wonder if I might have the same problem again later).

  • System Restore error: "the changes to the G: drive after this point cannot be reversed, because the drive has been either excluded from monitoring system restore or has been disabled or deleted.»

I had some problems with my computer recently I knew could be solved with the system restore.  Then I went into system restore and went to a restore point that was a few weeks back.  After I clicked on it and pressing the ok button, the following message appeared: "the changes made to the G: drive after this point cannot be reversed, because the drive has been either excluded from monitoring system restore or has been disabled or deleted.»  I let it continue and do the restore.  My computer has rebooted and came up with an error in system restore that says restore failed.  It's the same thing with other restore points.  I don't know why I get this error because I not made any changes to this hard drive except for copy of a document word on him.  I thought that the System Restore monitors removable disks.  Anyone know what is happening here and how I can get the restoration of the system to operate without the mistakes to come?

I have Norton.  Disable the Tamper Protection works.  I also noticed that since the G: drive was a portable hard drive, System Restore wanted to exercise oversight.  He wants to monitor all hard drives.  Turn on external and portable hard disks prevents tracking system restore changes to the readers.  I don't think anyone would have the system restore review external drives anyway.  It is not necessary.
