Site Web of Windows validity suggested Disk Scan that could fix the file and then run the validation again. done, but had the same error. Registry repair ran, but there is no remmedied the problem. going by the threads, this seems to be a common problem. Y at - it an easy fix?

When my computer load and gets on the desk, I get access denied error RUnDLL: C:PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\System\SysMenu.dll , please give me a solution?

First of all, as precautionary measure, update your anti virus and run a scan full to see if it detects and deletes everything.

Then download and install autoruns - https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and use it to try to locate any references to SysMenu.dll and if they disable them. Delete at this point, then test again.

  • Error message "Access denied" on the sharing of files and folders on a dual-boot computer.

    I have a Dual Boot PC - the two Windows 7 Home Premium - one 32-bit, 64-bit.

If I try to access files created in the 32-bit system to the 64-bit system, I get "Access Denied" errors. This is extremely annoying as its my PC, my data, my everything!

The only way to solve the problem seems to be to give all permissions to "Everyone", but then I get my parcel Internet Security complain bitterly that my PC is now open to piracy because I gave "Everyone" full access permissions.

I searched the Web and Microsoft, but I never seem to find exactly what I'm looking for; part of my search text seems to have more weight than another. For example, I add "in the system to dual-boot" and I get links to creating a dual boot system.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to grant permissions to access 32-bit system folder to the main user on the 64 bit system, I would be very grateful.

    Thank you very much.

I'm working on a given HP computer where the administrator was already settled by those who have set up the system when it was given. Now, I am trying to perform an action that requires me to use the program of scheduled tasks. I have problems with passwords and user ID. It defaults to the Userid of the machine number/administrator. I put the password when asked, but I was rejected when I finished to complete the scheduled task that I perfom. The scheduled task, I wanted to do was simply to have iTunes launch and play a song both partiucular. After completing all the details, I must click on 'Apply' or 'OK' and then I get an another dialog box asking that I get the password once more. I enter the password I put at the beginning when the application Assistant came on - but I get access denied - and the error number 0 x 80070005. Help, please. Thomas,

Follow the step on the next page to start the computer in Mode safe.
Once you start the computer Safe Mode, the built-in "Administrator" account should appear. I'm not saying that your user account is not an administrator account, but just to be sure to use the one built for all purposes it may serve you.

    See you soon ~!
  • Cannot start the various services of the system; "Error 5: access is denied."

While the usual game of services configured to start automatically, they, well, aren't... And trying to make em start manually translates "access denied" or "dependency service or group could not start" error. Only a small handful of load on their own, but they do not include, for example, the Remote Procedure Call service.

The user account is supposed to have administrative access; the Group of user accounts (accessed via the control panel) is empty, and (as I am running XP Home) I have no access to the local users and groups. Restart in safe mode and the connection via the administrator account cause the same exact symptoms.

I was not present when the problem started, but I am told that it took place after the system crashed and restarted. Start up times are extended, but do not understand the error messages.

I can't use the catering service because it does not start. The same for the Windows Installer service. The services that start are:

    Plug-and-Play
    Java Quick Starter
Event log (which has no error)
    Hello Service
    AVG Free8 Watchdog Service
    ATI Hotkey Poller
    Apple Mobile Device

Last known good Configuration boots in exactly the same way.

I found a thread online, noting that if you see this article of your registry, you can get rather more solid info on your services:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services

When looking for the RPC here service, I found that it relied on "c:\windows\system32\svchost.exe" in order to load. Of course, attempting to run manually giving access denied errors.

I rebooted in safe mode and checked the permissions (by opening the properties file and then by checking the Security tab) - group Everone has had total control, but on the re-disabling/enabling access error messages have disappeared. I rebooted normally and the RPC service was back running, as well as all the others.

Unfortunately, after restarting once more permissions whacked again and I was forced to repeat the procedure. At this time I am pretty certain that some malware is involved, but you can consider the initial problem fixed. Thanks for your time.  :)

During the restore system to a previous restore point, I got this error "Access denied 0x80070005" Any Solutions?

    Possibilities:

    1. you are not the administrator. You don't have to enter the admin password valid when he asked for it.

    2. you probably have the problem with the infection by the virus.

If you ARE the admin, suggestions:

    a. run a full scan.

    b. If the machine is clean, do your Safe Mode system restore.

How to go in safe mode?

Restart > immediately and repeatedly tapping the F8 key until you see a black and white scree > top? Touch down arrow, and then select Safe Mode > Enter > now that you are using safe mode. Make your system restore.

  • Access denied even if I am System Admin!

I'm a YouTuber, and some of my old videos get saved in a folder. When I try to delete them that said "you need to provide administrator permission to make changes to this file. I AM THE ADMINISTRATOR! I BOUGHT THE COMPUTER AND CONFESS! I deleted the files like these before on the same account, network and computer! WHY NOW?!

    Hi Patrick,

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft forums.

I understand that you are in a frustrating situation because you found an "Access denied" message even after the connection to the computer by using an administrator account. We will help you solve the problem.

Access denied cause my occur if you do not have permission to the folder.

We will try these steps and check.

    Method 1:

You can consult the following Microsoft article and check if it helps.

"Access denied" or other errors in the access to or work with files and folders in Windows

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2623670

If the problem occurs even from the administrator account, check whether this is due to a software Antivirus installed on the computer. We had some cases where the issues of "access denied" occurred because of the conflicts of safety program third party with the driver installation. So, try the following suggestions.

If the problem persists, I suggest to try the next step and check if it helps.

    Method 2:

Temporarily disable third-party security program. (If you have installed everything)

I ask you to contact technical support Antivirus to disable it temporarily and then see if that solves the problem.

Important: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    I hope this helps.

Please report if the problem persists and we will be happy to help you further.

RE: "access denied" following the installation of Firefox question. I have the same problem. Details below: I tried opening in Mode safe that has not worked. I have administrative access. When I click on the general tab in properties, I get a message that there is no such thing as "firefox.exe". This file, or any other type 'install' file appears in the directory Mozilla Firefox with the exception of 'uninstall '. I downloaded and tried to install seven times from six different sources, including Mozilla, all with the same results. I also tried a number of solutions on the web for this error without great success. I tried, first of all, to make an upgrade, then remove the old version of Firefox and have been 'install' since then. Avast, Malwarebytes and Threatfire found no malware.

I've never had a similar problem with Firefox before and I used it for years. Anyone has any ideas that I have not already tried? I'm tired of using Internet Explorer! RE: Troubleshooting below - information Windown will not open the downloaded file.

    Hello James

To be honest I n don't know what the problem is here and since when you have this mysterious number, but please don t get me wrong, but I don t know if your described problem has nothing to do with Toshiba and, in my opinion, you should contact Microsoft and ask them if they have explanations why this happens.

    I get the error:

    1008:9,-5000 access denied error

As I am installing of Sonivox Vocalizer. It is a plugin for Logic 9.

I traced down on the threads here that it's a common problem with the vise Installer application that many use to install their software, so they do not install for the same reason. Apparently the cause of changes in security in mac OS.

How manually set privileges TEMPORARILY so that I can get this software to be installed from the installation disc?

P.S. I already do not clean install (only admin), updated, then disk utility used to repair permissions and that it was not fixed.

You may need to restore the permissions on your user account. To do this, start on your recovery partition (hold down the command and R during startup) and open Terminal from the Utilities menu. In the Terminal, type: 'resetpassword' (without the), press return, and then select the admin user. You do not have to reset your password. Click the icon of your Mac hard drive at the top. In the list box below, select the user account that has problems. At the bottom of the window, you will see a box labeled restore Home Directory permissions and ACLs. Click the button to reset there. The process takes a few minutes. When you're finished, restart.

Fix the permissions of the user
