SYSTEM LOCK UP M30X / GEL TO THE TOP

I use a M30X-130 model and in the past already experienced a system lock up/freeze-up problems under certain unspecified conditions.
Things go wrong trying to unlock/unfreeze; disconnection/reconnection of power or battery is the only way to restart.

Now, however, things are much worse.
At home I have broadband, however, I use a travel dial-up connection.
When you disconnect the dial-up connection after an e-mail session, 9 out of 10 locks system up / freezes. The only way to make it work of again by disconnecting / reconnecting the power supply and restart the system.

Any ideas?
I work under Windows XP SP2 and using Outlook as mail client.

Hello Jozef

As far as I know if the laptop freezes, you can press the power button and hold the button for about 5 seconds. On this way the laptop is obliged to turn off the power.

Believe me on this path it is not easy to say why this happens. Try to remove created dial-up connection and create a new. You can also try reinstalling the modem but I put t think it can help.

It is also possible that some virus or dialer installed self trying to establish the connection and it may be the reason for some conflicts and result is freezing operating system.

Sorry, but that is all I can tell you at the moment.

  • Meeting place for Dell 11 I3 pro locks screen (7139/7130) towards the top/gels

    Hello

I have a Dell location 11 Pro I3, it's almost awesome to work after getting all the latest drivers updates, Bios, etc..

But from time to time, the screen freezes, it seems that it only freezes when im touching the screen or using the keyboard on this (compact keyboard with trackpad).

A few times the screen freezes for a few seconds, other times I have to put to sleep (power button) and wake up again until the screen reacts.

I know it is a problem of editing screen, the Tablet meets the keys, keyboard typing or the trackpad when the screen is frozen.

How will I know it when I see the movements on the screen? I see when I wake the Tablet after a freeze of all the changes I made, for example typings, Web sites change. And the sounds when I get error sound when I arrive at the end of a page, etc. The sounds come while the screen is frozen.

Anyone have any idea how I can solve the freezing of the screen that would be amazing :)

I've seen other posts but non of them are recent (a month or two old)

    Thanks in advance :)

On my tablet, this problem was more caused by the Panel Auto Refresh. Download Intel drivers from the support page and install it if you don't have it already done. Then, click Start-> all-> Intel HD Graphics Control Panel Apps. Click on 'Power', then click on "Off" next to Panel to refresh.

  • Smartphone blackBerry OS with the top PASSWORD Lock button

    Hello

To begin, I HATE how the top button snaps no more. I just updated my OS to the latest version.

I would like to know the most recent operating system that still has the lock button high locking with password lock.

NO ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION (for example press alt + entry, set the convenience etc keys)

I used to have a 5.0.0.4xx, and now it's 5.0.0.6xx or something. I did some research and I think that the newer operating system with the password lock is 5.0.0.536.

Can anyone confirm or deny? I have to go with an older OS?

loaded 5.0.0.415 on the phone and the locking password works.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

I'm updating the PC of my church. I cloned the HD with XP Pro OS and moved to the new system. When I did it start. It goes into a loop of reboot.

I realize now, the issue has to do with the settings.

So, how can I get this to work on the new PC?

I was told on the use of R 'option of repair, but in the past, it drops me to a command promt. (DOS)

    Which will work?

When I tried this and chose the reader wonder an administrator password.

I used the password for the only user on the system, but it did not work.

This system is just after 2000 and I have no idea that if someone had placed an admin password in it.

I wonder what are my other options then setting fresh on a new HD.

If the original PC came with Windows pre-installed, it is impossible to return to a new system.

If you have a retail CD of Windows XP, it allows to do a repair install on the new system so that Windows can face the new material.

By default, the password for the administrator account is empty (that is, no password).
