    Hello

I was downloading an update of tempro toshiba (synco or something in that sense) for my laptop Satellite A300 and the frozen screen. I pressed the power button for 5-10 seconds until it is turned off. When I turned it the system seemed to work but the screen is completely black.

I tried to remove the battery, and fn + F5 but the screen still won't turn on.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    Hello

It happened because of the updated BIOS, or during the common software update?
In case it was an update of the BIOS I recommend contact the ASP in your country, because it seems that the ROM module must be flashed again.

If it happened during a common software update, so I advise to remove the battery and the AC adapter and wait an hour.
Then reconnect the two parts and check to see if you could power the laptop properly!

    Check it out!

  • How can I remove updates for Windows Vista? Duplicates are KB976325, KB973917, KB974318. The system still wants to install updates and just duplicates on again once. First update list has 20, second and third about 18.

Duplication did not begin until I tried to load the list of updates.  Continues to tell me the same updates are available and download them if allowed.  Only the update that has been update group above that does not DOWNLOAD is Internet Explorer 8 for Windows Vista, which I am downloading now. When I go to 'historic day' to remove duplicates as indicated in the instructions for help. duplicates above are not listed. Of the; folding situation is on a Gateway laptop.  I am writing this issue on my Gateway PC.

LiveUpdate install updates for your Symantec/Norton application only.

Don't worry what you see in the installed updates or unable to uninstall the 3 updates, simply 'hide' and move.

    1. stop the automatic updates service:

Start > Right click on run , and then select run as administrator > services.msc (type) > [OK]
Double-click automatic updates > click stop
(Stopping the service will take a moment)

2 remove the contents of the download folder:

Start > Right click on run , and then select run as administrator >
    (type or copy/paste) %windir%\SoftwareDistribution > [OK]
Open the download folder and delete its content
    Close the window.

3 start | Control Panel | System maintenance and (if you use Classic view, skip this step). Windows Update |  View the updates available (or Select the updates installed): right-click on KB976325 KB973917 and KB974318, in turn. Click hide update | Confirm the prompt UAC (User Account Control), if any, & OK your way out.

    4. start the automatic updates service:

Start > Right click on run , and then select run as administrator > services.msc (type) > [OK]
Double-click automatic updates > click Start
(Stopping the service will take a moment)

    =====================================
To restore/show updates for Vista: Start | Control Panel | System maintenance and (if you use Classic view, skip this step) | Windows Update | Restore hidden updates: Find and select the update you want to install. Click restore. You can now select once again it and install through the normal process.

  • 15-P157SA HP: HP 15-P157SA guard beep randomly since bought there is a little more than 7 days.

Hi all, I hope someone can help me with this problem that I have because technical support of curry have been so far no help for me either, and I'm at the point now where I have to request a refund if I can't fix it.

As I set up my HP 15 - P157SA, I had these beeps randomly that I can't understand why I get them. I did a lot of things that have not worked, in any case, here's the list of things I've tried so far:

    (1) I went to the page of diagnosis hp (where you press f2 on start up) I conducted a test of component (suggested by technician) to see if there no beeps during this time to work if it's a hardware problem. I did a quick test, there is no beeps. I then ran a test expanded to an hour and a half, and during this time, autour laptop does not beep. The technician said that this meant it was unlikely to be a hardware problem causing the beeps and more likely to be a software problem.

    (2) I unplugged my power cable to see if it was the power cord making the beep, but unfortunately still a sound signal.

    (3) the next thing I tried was to keep the power supply cord plugged but removed the battery to see if it was a problem with the battery. Yet once, it did not help and the laptop kept randomly beep.

    (4) another suggestion of many of the technician I spoke was to unplug my usb mouse and try again with just the trackpad. I tried this and found that the laptop still beeps.

    (5) I did a search on the internet and found that other people have had this problem but it seems to be no solution to the problem, someone had replaced their laptop 5 times and each laptop had the same problem, I think it was replaced by a different model in the end. I found another brand of HP with the same problem and the proposed fix was to run quietHDD. I thought a lot! A fix! But alas, that doesn't work anymore, my laptop beeps still randomly home.

    (6) I tried my sound to see if the beep came from my speakers, even with cut sound beeps inhibition happens again which suggested that there was not a sound system related issue.

There is one thing I want to mention. I love this laptop and I would like to avoid having to return it. I had no problem with the closures or any performance of my apps. The laptop on a set runs very smoothly despite the beeps. I just need to know if it's a fault because I don't want to go through the process to fix it later down the line, if it fails completely on me. I want to sort my 21 days so that if I have to I can go back and either get a refund or Exchange for another phone. The beep is random, may occur every few minutes, the beeps are short, they are not continuous and sometimes it can be 30 minutes before it happens again, sometimes that they are very common and appear to be a sound signal every few minutes. I also noticed that one or two times the beep seems to meet, two beeps short one after the other. It happened only a few times, usually it's just a short beep at the same time.

I tried to add as much information as possible, I hope I could explain everything clearly for you and that I have not confused you! I am also very frustrated if I want to apologize if I have sudden air somehow.  I, in no way mean to take on anyone and will be very grateful if someone can help me solve this problem.

    @Lekki2020 ,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forum.  If you this have had less than 15 days and called technical support.  Take it back to the place you bought it for Exchange.

If this is not the case, contact the technical support for repair options.

  • [Solved] Continuous beep T5500 Workstation with high CPU usage.

I have a T5500, and every time that I insist on processors the system starts a continuous and constant beeping noise.

The system still seems to operate normally and the time CPU are also under control, just the annoying noise.

I don't see a continuous sound anywhere in the manual, so I don't know what that means.

It is an old machine and out of warranty so if I can't find the problem, can I just turn off or unplug the speaker making the noise?

    Thank you.

Resolved, I feel like such a fool. Someone helped me to find the problem. I am turning on the PC with a UPS just next door and it doesn't clearly have the juice to power the T5500 anywhere near full charge.

So after the days of troubleshooting, I found it was a simple error of ID10T.

    Thank you.

  • Dell Vostro does not turn on, constantly beep

I have Dell Vostro 3360 for over 2 years now (1 year running windows 10 installed from scratch) and yesterday it stopped working.

At first, it won't start, when I press the 'power' button it starts a signal sound (sound very similar to the sound when the battery is low, although I'm not 100% positive). It will beep at regular intervals and does not start. Sometimes it starts, but after several minutes, I got blue screens, but both times with different messages:

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    IRQL... something

When I tried to restart it after one of the successful boots it just turned off.

The update of the day before yesterday has been applied to the operating system (win 10), but I'm not really sure if this is the problem. I replaced the hard drive with no luck, still beeps and won't start.

It is possible that windows update may install malicious driver who broke the material?

How can I solve this problem and find out the real cause behind the problem?

    Thanks in advance!

Try the memory modules one at a time - and in each socket - until what you isoliez the bad module (replace) or the wrong taken (which will require a motherboard replacement).

  • cannot turn off system sounds

    Win 7 Pro 64-bit.

Ringing system interfere with my digitization of old vinyl records, I want all THE non-music sounds off the power.

    I've done so far:

Control Panel > sound > sound > no sound - made and checked several times to restart, model of sounds is not sound.

Outlook: Tools > Options > other tab > advanced - "provide feedback with sound" is NOT checked and the necessary add-in is not loaded.

By rights, I should hear nothing BUT:

    (1) Control Panel > programs and features > remove a program - Ding-ding, boop, it has been deleted. So much for "no sound".

    (2) I set Outlook 2003 to not show images on the opening of emails, just boxes with the label "right click here to download the images. To help protect your privacy, Outlook prevented download of some pictures in this post. "Normally, I click on the gray bar at the top which download all. Once the images are downloaded, close or delete the message opens a pop-up with accompaniment dingie message. It's downloading pictures that activates the sound.

Please, I beg you, Mr President, I was a good boy and did everything I told me to do but it still beeps at me. Why is it so angry?

    Hello

  • How can I change several download Sierra systems

How can I change several download Sierra systems?  I have a Mac mini end of 2012 running El Capitan, over a mid-2010 Mac mini and MacBook Pro mid-2010 the two race Yosemite with limit of bandwidth on my internet connection and want to update all three systems in one download.  Is the process that apply with Yosemite and El Capitan (ie. Copy the Setup program to another location before you run it on the download system) still the way forward?  Thank you.

You can do this or DiskMaker X allows to create a key to install it.
