• Virtual Infrastructure Client on virtual system - inventory is empty

  We are customer capture virtual infrastructure (2.5v1) using ThinApp (V4.0.1) and the application works perfectly. On a native system.

  When starting the application on a virtual system (VMware ESX, Windows XP SP3 with VMware tools installed) inventory (hosts and clusters) is not met. We are implementing a VDI environment, this will be a problem, as all users will use virtual systems. And this includes network administrators...

  Any suggestions?

  I captured Virtual Infrastructure Client 2.5 with Thinapp (4.0.1 - build2866) on a virtual machine.

  I launched it on a clean snapshot of a VM and I could see the inventory correctly.

  But when I launched the same thing on my local (or native) machine, the inventory has been posted under vacuum. I tried to add a center of data through the menu bar or the toolbar. The data center has been added correctly and now the inventory was also displayed. Following the closure the Thinapped VIClient and new launch and its connection to the virtual server Center, the inventory has been posted correctly.

  Try to add any new data center or a folder to empty inventory and check if inventory is displayed.

  Its looks like you connect with weblogic which is by default for defaultauthenticator.

  Do you use the MobiLink external authenticator? If yes add user to the external directory and then add specific user of the external directory as administrator for portal

  I need to download a driver but need to know if I have Windows XP, XP 64. I run Internet 7 SP3 if that makes a difference. • After Windows Update on 13/10/11 all reboots Windows is extremely slow and hard drive is on continuously.

  I ran the Windows, distributed update to my PC 10/13/11.  After restarting the computer is so slow as to be unusable.  I am able to get the Windows Task Manager to run, and it sees a minimum CPU (0-10%).  The hard drive light is on continuously.  The computer seems to be tied up access the hard disk.  The machine restarts do not help.  When you try to use Windows Explorer to view what is on the hard drive of each operation takes several minutes to complete.  I tried to launch the system restore to restore to before the update, but it shows a blank white screen.  Often trying to do something with the Windows Explorer I see in the title bar of Windows Explorer (not responding).

  How can I get the machine into a usable state?

  It's a shame that we know absolutely nothing about your system, but it's because the forums MS Answers does not prompt for any information system when a new question is asked.

  You can probably fix your calendar to restore system back to an earlier date, but that would leave you without the updates, so you should really understand what the deal is with them and fix it (eventually).

  Here's how:

  The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

  You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

  Now make some clarifications:

  Click Start, run and enter in the box:

  Msinfo32

  Click on OK and when system summary information is displayed, click on edit, select all (Ctrl-A), copy) Ctrl + C) then paste (Ctrl-V) the information here.

In the Customize the Start Menu window check run display or on the Advanced tab, do scroll down to run the command and check it out. At the bottom, and on the next window, click OK .

  Please note the time, restart your computer and display the details of the errors that occur after the date and time that you noted.

  Select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, cleaning disk to emptying your trash, delete temporary Internet files and other selected options. I recommend also you click Other Options, System Restore and delete all but the last system restore point. Run Disk Defragmenter.

  Using the system restore option is most appropriate when your system is slow and you need to increase the free disk space on your C partition. If you have errors that could be solved by using the system restore to your system settings back to before the error occurred initially do not use this option.

  If more than one person uses the computer and they have their own user log you need to run Disk Cleanup in each user profile that you want to delete all the unwanted files.

• Windows 7 graphics card problem

  I have a HP Envy 17 t 3000 CTO Notebook PC product # LW900AV Every so often I get the message "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" for some time, but has never been able to solve the problem. Then I started getting the blue screen of death which says something about a dump of memory and a driver from memory. Usually I hold down the power button and restart. Then, while in windows mode the screen got all staticy, to restart, I have the windows logo, then I see a black screen with static in it and never completely, he began. I can go in safe mode without any graphic or other problem. Go to Device Manager I deleted the driver for AMD Radeon HD 7690 M XT graphics card, then restarted, and it will start and will work perfectly with the other driver (Intel) until Windows loaded another driver for the Radeon driver (I couldn't stop) after the loading screen would be left empty. Nothing found online so far has solved the problem. Then, I went into recovery and returned to the factory settings. That worked for a few hours, everything worked fine. Then I started to have static electricity once again, until I'm right here where I started. Can someone tell me exactly what the problem is? Hardware or driver? Why does it work temporarily? Is it possible to completely disable the Radeon driver for good, where it is not reload on reboot? My computer has two graphics drivers (don't know why) is it possible to use the other driver instead (the Intel driver)? Since it is not under warranty, if I brought a technician is something they can do? Thanks for your help!

  Looks like're you allowing / victim of a Windows update that includes the wrong video driver for your system.

  You could do things to do work things out and later a update of Windows comes with the wrong driver video and things mess for you.  Microsoft does not know what are the best drivers of material (audio, video, network), with your system and often sends the bad and if you don't pay attention to the updates, your system may malfunction.

  First let's take a look at what you get when it is broken so that you know what things look like.

  Click on the button/ORB start in the lower left corner of your screen. Or, press the button of your keyboard Windows logo.

  In the type box:

  Msinfo32

  Select / click msinfo32.exe and the system information dialog box opens.

  Click System summary, click on edit, select all (Ctrl-A), copy (Ctrl-C) and then paste (Ctrl-V) the information back here in your next reply.

  For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all (Ctrl-A), copy (Ctrl-C) and paste (Ctrl-V) feedback here.

  There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information.

  In the display section, pay attention to / take note of the Version of the driver that you know does not work for example:

  15.200.1062.1004 driver version (your going to say something different)

  If you have the system to a point where things seem to be working, go back in msinfo32 and also take note of the version of the driver that works.

  Then hop out on the HP support site and download/install the driver proper (32/64-bit) from here:

  Then restart your system and return to msinfo32 and check the new display driver version to remember that he has updated and see how things look for and report.

• Cannot delete files to the trash (Recycle Bin access denied)

  System: Windows 7 Ent SP1 x 64, i7 930, 24GO RAM with all updates

  When I try to delete files in Windows Explorer, I get the following error (most of the time, but not always):

  " cannot be moved to the trash. Do you want to permanently delete it? »

  I can then permanently delete the file, even if I sent to the trash.

  I tried the following (nothing works):

  -checked to see if the file is locked with Process Explorer (find handle or DLL)-it is not (and it can be removed permanently)

  -deleted all the recycle bins on all drives & restarted. New recycling bins have been created, but it did not help.

  -changed of owner of baskets and all files as (with the takeown command). Corrupt system baskets complained, emptied their and restored to their previous state. This did not help the primary problem.

  -set the maximum size to the size of the disk on all baskets. It has no effect on the main problem.

  -J' also checked the security for the folders tab $RECYCLE. BIN on all readers and define "Full control" for users. SYSTEM and administrators had already 'Full comtrol. This did not help also.

  What is strange (and new), is when I open the Recycle Bin, the files are always considered to be "Tiles" (which I did not). If I put it in 'Détails', the change is not permanent - the next time I open the Recycle Bin, the files are showed once again as "Tiles".

  What can I do to be able to delete (all) files via the Recycle Bin?

  Thanks Mike for the response, but none of the methods helped. There was no malware and even in safe mode, I could not delete files to the Recycle Bin. In addition, the original administrator account could not delete to the Recycle Bin.

  But I think I found the culprit:

  Apparently, this problem showed that in the downloads folder, to which I had many junctions (to be easily accessible). Due to lack of space on the C: drive, I remembered that I have moved through properties-> location on a disk with more space. Instead of the old folder in C:\Users\ downloads I put a junction pointing to the new location.

  Now, I had old junctions pointing to C:\Users\personal, which in turn was a junction pointing to a new location. Registration/creation/look at one/etc files in folder downloads accessible through 2 junctions was of course OK, but delete somehow was not able to delete files to the Recycle Bin. When I fixed the remaining junctions to point directly to the new location of the download folder, delete started working OK again.

  Summary:

  Delete the file (SHFileOperation?) is not able to use the trash, if the file is accessible via junction 2 points (or more?).

• questions of Touchpad synaptics touchpad in windows 8

  Yesterday, the touchpad has stopped working, but can use a mouse. Tried to uninstall the driver and reinstall the new version. function command does not respond. best I can get is the cursor on the desktop at startup, but who do not meet.

  There are a few possibilities to find in Windows (probably more with Toshiba utility).

  For example, use Microsoft info system (msinfo32.exe) and see what he says for system SKU or model of system (summary system, top of page).   It doesn't seem to be a consistency between manufacturers, some respond to one or the other or leave unnecessarily incomplete.

  Another method is to use wmic.exe (in a cmd window):

  WMIC.exe csproduct list List

  Still, there is incompatibility between manufacturers.   For example, in my case SKUNumber = is empty but I could get my serial number IdentifyingNumber y =.   As much as I know my serial number is not useful (to the HP support site).   But the Toshiba is indicating that he would use.   So, you may be able to get your serial number, use it on the Support from Toshiba site, get your model number and then share it here.

  BTW, well have you open system, checking, entry information, pointing device.  FWIW, I have details on my Touchpad in there.   ; )

  I wrote a simple code to display the table with "data". There are also some TextFields and add the touch that takes the text of TextFields and adds it to the Table in a new line.
  I have this problem that the table is correctly adding new lines, but it does not show its contents (the boxes are empty) and I have no idea where the problem is. Can anyone help?
