SystemBuild SuperBlocks

Hello

Why only discrete SuperBlocks (and why not continuous for example) can have an enable signal? Is it possible to enable or disable a continuous superblock?

Thank you
Yevgeni

Because continuous models cannot have discontinuities in the model. Integrators need continuous signals.

It is not possible to turn a continuous superblock.

  • ModusLink Vista upgrade is free or not free?

    I just bought the laptop A100-906 with Windows XP Home Edition. I understand I can be upgraded to Windows Vista. And, as I understand it, for free.

    But while I visit the site Microsoft Upgrade that I saw a price of article 95, 47USD without shipping and handling for Grand Vista Home Premium.

    Am I have to pay, or I have to just make an order, send to [email protected] and Toshiba will pay?

    So, I want to say this upgrade is free or Toshiba gives just a discount?

    Hej,

    you are in the same situation, as if I were.

    1: updates are only free from XP PRO to Vista Business or XP MCE, Vista Home Premium.
    2: updates XP Home cost. Even from XP Home to Vista Home Basic, you will need to pay a lot.

    I ordered as you want to make Vista Home Premium for 98, xx. Right now I'm happy that I could cancel the order. I really advice you not to order through Moduslink. The company was founded just for the upgrade. You can hardly reach them by e-mail. The only thing that works is letter or by fax.

    And in the end: you get just an upgrade! So I kindly advice you don't not to order here. Instead, the order in your Favorites online shop a Windows Vista Home Premium SystemBuilder / OEM product. I ordered as well for 99,- so it is not even one Euro more then the upgrade. You get a full version and I got it in one day. I waited for more than 6 weeks and nothing happenend on ModusLink.

  • Who has already received Vista upgrade express KIT?

    I get confused just apply an or not. -What is boxed as a commercial Version?

    It is an upgrade, you must have installed XP before installing Vista of the means. You can not do a clean install. There are ways to do it, but it's not official. And you are allowed to use it on THIS computer. Depending on how much you have to pay I would advice to buy a version of systembuilder (OEM) on your own. I cancelled my order today of moduslink and ordered on my own. When you order by moduslink you must wait several weeks and experience many problems during the upgrade process.

    Question: Given the following error with Disk Utility first aid and success with diskutil check volume, I should consider my drive damaged or volume?

    After a crash of the system on my Mac mini (end 2012) running that OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 has experienced a kernel panic induced by the adapter USB Wi - Fi, I dutifully ran first aid utility disk on each volume on the disk, in order to ensure the integrity of system files.

    I think you might be able to do a repair of first aid, after you have disassembled the drive first:

    1. Run OS X by an external device (ex: USB mode, or external hard drive or disk target from another Mac)
    2. Launch the Terminal and run the following command umount f /Volumes/ (ex: umount f/Volumes/Macintosh\ HD)
    3. Then run disk utility first aid.

    I had this problem on a Macbook Air, I tried to recreate the image to work, so I didn't need to get anything off the drive. I tried to format the drive and reinstall OS X. So I don't know if first aid work after disassembly, but it worked without a doubt after that I did the first two steps above and then deleted from the disk. Not sure if this will help, but worth a try, I guess.

    Hello

    I have some real problems with a brand new satellite A300 1QD.

    File: \windows\system32\winload.exe
    Status: 0xc0000221
    Info: the file is corupt possibaly. the header checksum does not match the checksum calculated.

    AprΦs the dΘmarrage of the original CD Vista Home Premium or the Systembuilder OEM another error appeared:

    Error: 0xc000000f
    Missing or damaged \Windows\system32\winload.exe

    Does not even work by pressing F8 during startup. I have a chance to start even a repair because there is no option that I could choose.

    After a few resets the A300 seems to have some problems.
    A few times the display does not start, after the other it does not, start by hanging up during the automatic test etc.
    I have reset the BIOS by default Options, but it does not help.

    The A300 are one week. Am I allowed to remove a RAM bar without losing the warranty?
    I have read that sometimes it helps. I was able to do a memtest software vista. It is said that some hardware conflicts appeared.

    I am desprate, please help.

    EDIT:
    I did another test memory with linux 64 bit (openSUSE 11.1) and many erros occurred.
    What can I do now? The laptop is a present fpr my girlfriend Monday 15. Can I order other RAM and return that broke with a Numbor RMA or something?

    EDIT2:
    I recognized, that sometimes, when I start the laptop, the power led is the lightning to the top, but the satellite logo in the left corner remains dark.

    Oh, by the way, excuse my English, I hope that I can make myself clear enough that you can help me ^^

  • queryblock in MATRIXx 8.1.4

    Hello

    I run MATRIXx 8.1.4 and it seems that the queryblock function does not work correctly. For example, when I enter the following command in the command of Xmath window:

    [block_name = Name] = queryblock (1)

    I get the following error:

    F * should be editing a superblock to execute the command or function

    Thanks for your help.

    When there are multiple windows editor present superblock, it has always been a problem of

    what the Editor window to apply the command queryblock.

    MATRIXx 7.1.x the Editor Windows are separate windows and not child windows like MATRIXx 8.1.x framework

    is was easy to understand the editor in the foreground window to direct orders from SBA for.

    In 8.1.x MATRIXx, it is more difficult, so the safe thing to do, it's not having any window of the SBA default editor

    (which I am in total disagreement with, there should always be a window of default SBA).

    To work around the problem, start the superblock Editor window using a command of SBA.

    Use 'sbname' or modifysuperblock 'sbname' editcatalog so that there is a default SBA Editor window.

    I would also say, update you version 8.1.5 MATRIXx (out Oct 2010).

    MATRIXx 8.1.5 fixes a crash when there is not a default SBA Editor window.

    The FTPSite MATRIXx has almost all versions of MATRIXx ever released available for download.

    FTP://MATRIXx:[email protected]/outgoing/Windows/815/MATRIXx_815.zip

    If you do not need a version of Windows, simply navigate to the folder out to the platform

    and the version you wish to download (Linux, Solaris, SolarisX86).

    Note: MATRIXx 8.1.4 and 8.1.5 MATRIXx can both be installed at the same time and

    does not interfere with the other. Launch of MATRIXx using the - v option, $MTXHOME/bin/matrixx - v 8.1.4 - newproject

    or $MTXHOME/bin/matrixx - v 8.1.5 - newproject

  • How can I change the properties of Xmath block?

    I want to change some properties of block Xmath, for example to change the name of a constant block. I tried something like

    Constant1.name = 'new name ';

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you

    Yevgeni

    You can use the SBA (SystemBuild Access, see Chapter 7 of the guide SystemBuild) command of routine modifyblock to change any SystemBuild

    Block property. All the created blocks have a block id that must be specified in the modifyblock command.

    For example:

    modifyblock 2, {name = "myblock", color = 2, size = [100 100]}

    or to create a gain block

    createblock 'gain', {win = 2.5, name = "accelConstant"}

    to retrieve the id of the block of a created block, pass a variable set to zero, createblock will set the variable to the id of the created block

    MyID = 0

    createblock 'dead zone', {id = myid}

    modifyblock myid, {color = 1, input = 2}

    You can also get properties for a block by using the queryblock command.

    [t = c = color, location, t = blocktype threshold] = queryblock (myid)

    See Chapter 7 of the Guide SystemBuild users for more details and orders

  • How can I reactivate Windows XP?

    Got my PC from file system damaged, but now windows don't be loading not unless I have Windows XP automatic internett connecting to microsoft does nothing. How can I reactivate Windows XP Pro?

    Hello Raphael,.

    Christmas sent me to see if I had something that might help :-)

    My understanding of your situation, it's that your computer has a file system corrupted, if you used the manufacturer's recovery process to recover your computer if you "out-of-the-box".  I also noticed that you mentioned that recovery has given you the option has not your personal files in a place called "my old file Structures." Unfortunately, the recovery isn't going smoothly 100% and you encounter a problem of activation.

    The best tour I have up my sleeve is trying to "rearm" Windows Product Activation XP, which if it works will provide you with a grace period of 30 days, during which you can try to recover and backup your files from the old file Structure My, their credit on another storage (like external HDD or flash drives). Once your data is safe, then you can try to get another and hope this goes more smoothly this time. If this is not the case, your next step would be to contact the manufacturer to acquire the system disks required to run CD/DVD recovery rather than the recovery partition on the hard drive of your computer.

    If the computer can be started in a safe mode command prompt, run this option to rearm activation XP:

    Rundll32.exe syssetup, SetupOobeBnk

    The command must be typed exacly as above with space, caps, and comma.  Restart, and if it works, you will be able to log in normal mode (as opposed to safe mode) and will be in the 30-day activation grace period.

    Assuming that works, save your data, and then try the recovery again.  You will want to visit the support pages and community forum hosted by the manufacturer of your computer to search and see if the seeds of recovery are common for your make and model of computer - if yes, it is likely to be a fix for what you can implement.

    If this does not work, then your next task is to use an operating system off-line such as BartPE, Ultimate Boot CD, Knoppix, etc., to save your data from the saved location.  Once the data is turned off the computer and the safe, you can use the manufacturer's recovery disks (or disc OEM/systembuilder Microsoft at the generic address) to make a good clean install of Windows.

    Good luck! :-)

  • Lack of recovery of the XP HE CD

    How to get the recovery CD you contacted Gateway and the system is out of warranty, so the CDs are not available. The machine died with a total failure of the hard drive. I have the license key on the bottom of the PC and a new drive ready to install with no operating system.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you...

    Hello Midlo M.

    Third parties would be my first try, because the original recovery disks are better for average users more than just a generic solution IMO.  Try auction sites online (but attention looking for the real gateway printed discs for your model vs general initialization and repair or burnt disks), or try to www.restoredsiks.com

    If no joy anywhere on it, get hands on a real Microsoft hologrammed XP Home Edition installation CD, BUT the CD must have "for distribution with a new pc only" engraved in the hologram in the upper left quadrant.  It is an OEM/systembuilder disc, which will work with the product key on the certificate of authenticity (CoA) on th computer.  Other disks that are full retail, upgrade retail or volume will not accept the product key on the certificate of authenticity.  For security reasons, do not use all burned disks or disk images downloaded from anywhere - these are likely chock full of malware.

    Install your new HARD drive, start the computer, and make sure that the disc is recognized at its full capacity of configuration of the BIOS of the computer.  If this is not the case, a BIOS update may be necessary.

    Then insert the restore disc real bridge or genuine Microsoft disk and restart.  Choose an option to boot from the CD.  If a gateway recovery disc, do the bridge on their website for the execution of a recovery.  If a Microsoft disc, follow the prompts to accept the EULA, do one or more new partitions on the HARD disk, format the partition you want to install Windows XP, then install XP it on that partition.  The installation program is running and request you a product key.  Use the one which concerns your CoA, NOT one supplied with the hologrammed installation disc.  More questions on computer names, etc.  Let him finish.

    After complete installation and reboot, DO NOT accept the prompt to automatically activate online (assuming that the installer has found and installed your network card).  Instead, choose Activate XP by phone.  The wizard displays a digit (IIRC) installation ID 54, then you will have to dial a phone number, you enter the Installation ID in the automated phone system.  At this point the system is you will give an activation ID 54 figure to enter Activation Wizard (activation of complement) or your application will be rejected.  If rejected, choose the option to speak directly with a representative of activation (offered only during normal hours of your country/region).  Explain to the living rep that your HARD drive is dead, gateway could not send you recovery disks if you had to use a real systembuilder hologrammed intallation disk as well as the cost of your computer's product key to reinstall Windows on the replaced HARD disk.  The rep should provide you with an activation code.

    The sticker key product or something else, says 'Windows XP Home Edition, HPQ'

    Hello rutofteaching,

    Because the certificate of authenticity (CoA) has "HPQ" on that, we know that it is a HP or Compaq computer.  Please contact HP/Compaq support to see if you can order a recovery disc for the computer.  If the original motherboard is still in the computer, it is always allowed to run Windows XP Home Edition HP/Compaq.

    Departure to this page by using HP/Compaq: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bph07143&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

    If none of the recovery discs are available from HP/Compaq, please try other suppliers such as www.restoredisks.com.

    In a pinch, you can borrow real Microsoft hologrammed XP Home installation disc a friend provided with licenses from Microsoft for XP Home Edition OEM/systembuilder/small manufacturer.  Installation using this CD and the product key located on CoA on your computer and NOT the product key provided with the CD. After installation, you must activate by telephone and NOT by an automatic online activation.

    As others have posted, there is nowhere on the Microsoft site that you can download an ISO file or equivalent for Windows XP Edition family.  You wouldn't use a downloaded disk even if you could find one elsewhere on the internet because they are probably packed full of malware, rootkits, and who knows what else - not what you want to infest your computer with. Good advice on all XP themes, visit the http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp

    Scene 2:   Windows 7 (not a working copy) does very well, but not Vista Basic.  XP (again, not a working copy)almost loaded!  I even tried loading Vista on Win7 nothing helps.  Lived all the NTLDR missing, etc., has visited several Q / a forum... you're my last shot at this!  I even tried restoring disks from my other laptop (Toshiba), knowing full well, it produces no result... there not!  lol HD and motherboard are beautiful - I AM able to load OS to 'other' guys... Superblock is now ultimately nonexistent.

    Final:   Current situation: Zero out Once AGAIN , tried to install it, HD has failed.  A ran bootfix and installed SMTDRV.  Always the same black screen and invites as stated above, when you try to load Vista.  The thing F12, the same result.  DVD is fine.  The done of F2 and load default.  Guess that that same result.

    I have Win7, but the funds just aren't there.  I am a student (ISS), but my University is not offered at the discount of Win7.  Please help me to recover my Vista!  Thank you, thank you, thank you... in advance!

    I also installed the EMCPower. Linux - 5.0.0 - 157.rhel.x86_64.rpm under the default location. It has now SANsurferCLI and SANsurfer (gui).

    When I rebooted the machine, I see dmesg:
