  It is possible that you were installing wrong driver, this time before installing the following driver uninstall all drivers wireless previously installed and install it:- http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/6hwc05ww.zip

  Don't forget to install from C:/Drivers/...exe

  Also make sure you see two devices in network adapters (LAN or wireless).

  Computer wireless card is 2.4 GHz.  Therefore, the Chromecast should work.  Here's a good guidewith a video to help you install it.

  Hey people, trying to make my old laptop back to semi in working order.  Did a fresh install of Vista, but the wireless card for some reason any will not access the internet, says "local use."
