  As I said, sorry for the evacuation... I'm trying to find out where to get the Microsoft XP Pro backup utility. It does not show on accessories, System Tools, as it States in the pages of Microsoft. Toshiba provides only a disc of 'restoration', rather than the original disc of Microsoft XP & they don't apparently to install it at home or Pro versions. Their tech support was absolutely no help after explaining what it was I needed. The person must told me to use the disk to restore at least 10 times, but when I asked all simply if the backup program was included, she had no idea. I thought that I had paid for a full version of XP, but I find that I have received that Toshiba has decided to load on the machine.

  This PC seems to have come with Vista installed, correct?  Now, there are installed WinXP.  Look in 'Device Manager' to see what drivers are missimg and display the device ID, then we can find the correct drivers.

  I would try to let Windows find the driver in Device Manager, but if it does not come back with request ID information.

  Yesterday I was streaming audio of sky.fm and noticed that the back navigation toolbar arrow no longer and that he has failed since. FF restarting, rebooting the computer, same problem. Private browsing has never been used, i.e. the history file is fine. Using it is the only way to return to a previous page or the site.   You can install the drivers in Windows 7 in Windows 8 by using compatibility mode. Follow the steps.

  (a) access to the start screen

  (b) press Windows key + C on your keyboard to show the charms (if you have a touch screen: touch the right edge of your screen and slide your finger to the center of the screen to display the bar of charms)

  (c) search for Troubleshooting, click settings in the right-hand column.

  (d) click on troubleshooting. Click run programs made for previous versions of Windows

  (e) click on Next, select not listed. Click Next

  (f) click Browse and select the installation program that you downloaded via the link above.

  (g) click on Next, click program troubleshooting

  (h) check the program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now

  (i) click next , select the latest OS known functional for this driver (probably Windows 7)

  (j) click Next

  Why do you want a Vista Boot Disk (Not an Operating System disk)?

  It will not help you with Windows 7.

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  Mozilla plan on blocking older versions of McAfee Site Advisor Firefox 4 due to the problems they cause.
