  Hi Prabhat_Gupta. The BIOS updates are useful if necessary, but not always recommended if things work very well. The update itself may or may not solve difficulties you encounter with switchable graphics. What questions are you know and what you tried?

  I had a computer hp laptop pavilion dv6-6115tx, in the Device Manager I see 2 display adapters.

  and two of them are activated.

  Hi all

  I wonder if someone can help me. I'm having a lot of problems with my new laptop at the moment, and I'm now about to re - format and reinstall Windows.
  The question is this: when you browse the Web site with pictures or embedded videos, display struggles to scroll to the bottom and is very 'jerky' and slow. This happens in two & Firefox Internet Explorer.
  Its not just web browsers that have the problem, Word, Excel etc. all I have this problem. I produce a lot of documents and sometimes necessary, scroll through them - and performance when you scroll is a joke!

  I contacted ATI and they have washed their hands of this issue and refuse to do something.
  I tried the latest drivers, the drivers supplied with the laptop, restored to the latest drivers, made an update of the BIOS, chipset update firmware, update driver processor etc... and nothing has worked! Have really no idea on how to move forward from this.

  Any ideas / suggestions would be greatly appreciated - or if someone needs additional information, I'll check this thread.

  Excellent video! You should be able to tell which card video from the link I posted that will operate in dual graphics mode. Any different video card then disables the graphic edge.  It is my understanding of how dual graphics mode circuit.

• vector graphic question

  We recently hired someone to convert our company logo of an a vector graphic (EPS format) raster image.  The vector is superb in Illustrator; However, when we use in Word it has notable "staircase effects".  The person we hired said to try again opening in Illustrator and now affecting high resolution and then saving it as a jpeg to see what this looks like in Word.

  We are not only undo what we hired this person to do?  When I open the EPS file in Illustrator not give me the option to save in jpeg or gif.  Can someone help me out here?  I don't know just something miss me.

  Background: the reason why we needed to go to a vector image is that we have a document created in Word and when uploaded to a printing service online, the logo of the document shows a white border around the logo (the logo has a transparent background).  The print service expected to improve the logo vector format in order to remove this white border.

  Oh and re-reading, I see that you are able to place the .eps right in Word.  It prints with aliasing or what the on-screen preview which is irregular?  If this is the case, open it in Illustrator and make a backup - like and make sure to set the preview (in the second dialog box that appears when you save in eps) to the 8-bit color.

  I just added a new 512 DDR SO-DIMM for my laptop, and I wanted to know if it was possible to increase the allocation of memory.

  I currently have an ATi Mobility Radeon with 64 MB, but I wanted to increase this to 128 or 256 MB. I read the previous posts on this topic, and they all say I need to use what is called the UMA in the Bios.

  I checked the two pages of the Bios and there is nothing that relates to this. I tried to update my Bios but I can't get the. ISO file to a DVD using the recommended prgrams.

  If anyone can help me, I'd be grateful čery.

  Hi Richard,

  The UMA (Unified Memory Architecture) setting is displayed in the first configuration of the BIOS page (assuming a Phoenix BIOS). The normal range of allowances is 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB (default) and 128 MB.

  Check which BIOS provider you have on your A60. The award of the AMU can be called something else or may be set at 64 MB.

  Hi all

  I am having some problems with the CC 2015 version of Premiere Pro. When I'm editing a clip and pause the video, it turns out distorted with a bunch of color bars and others in the program and preview of the screens (see attachment). When the movie is exported, the color bars disappear off the video clip but then appear on a picture (sometimes more than one) who was in the exported sequence (see attachment). It doesn't matter what export settings that I use, as it happens on each parameter.

  To troubleshoot, I removed the sequence photos, saved the project, firm out of Premiere Pro and re-opened. The colored bars still appeared in the screens of the program and preview.

  Automatic switching is disabled, and the computer is a Mid 2014 MacBook Pro running OS X El Capitan 10.11.
