I bought a Lenovo T61 online!

It is reported as renovated Mnufacturer.
Of course, I am aware of the nVidia "Material-bumping problem" then I contacted the seller prior and requested information on the material.
HE / SHE tells me it's a "7665-08/08"unit. "
It comes with the NVS 140 m and a C2D 2 GHz.
I offered him $300 and my offer was accepted so Im really happy now!

Can I be % shure 100 this T61 came with the GPU "fixed"?
Also does the crack plastic easy on of T61? (my t20 looked as if she had blood vessels... xD)

I said it before, but I'll repeat for any new readers.

If it were possible to tell if the GPU was improving the design of codes/dates on the GPU, Lenovo would not have had to dispose of the countless boards in July 2008 where they were all replaced with the new plates with a new design of the gpu. I believe that the best and more coherent data show that many nVidia factories produced simultaneously, both stamped with the same number and date. There is no conclusive to tell, far from having a (destructive) microscopic autopsy by an expert from nVidia, but the only credible evidence which is the date of manufacture of laptops from 08/08 or newer means, you have the right chip, all the rest is speculation. Also, the rare and few cases of a unit of 08/08, for lack of a way that looks like the failure of gpu is far from conclusive, and there the old design. To assume that these would imply that the 'improved' design was indestructible, and it is not. All electronics are failing at their time, the difference in the two models is that the prior does not often, so take one or two isolated examples of a new design that may or may not have a GPU has failed and that all units of nVidia, built with the same codes are bad, the extrapolation is really bad science.

You can open and examine the chip if you want and it would not be a bad idea to clean and replace the thermal compound, but the numbers on the chip don't mean much. The only important thing you learn is if the jury had been replaced by a jury of rechipped, in which case the nVidia chip would have a slightly different logo and a date well beyond the period of production in series t61. Personally, I would have preferred an original 08/08 or later during a rechipped Council Council, but should have a good GPU.

As for the price that you paid, $300 is more then just for a 08/08 unit, even for the lesser model 14.1 widescreen. If there was a 15.4-inch model, then I would say you got a real bargain.

    In my opinion, it would depend on the case of the server.

    In case the server is used as an application server and associated application files are still stored on the system disk, which is default, then you should go to the thick provisioning.

    However, if it's going to end up like database/file server where work real files are stored on a separate disk, then you can implement your thin disk system.

    If I'm not wrong, you want to disable automatic downloads (the feature that automatically downloads all content you purchase all your devices), right? If this is the case, there are different ways to disable depending on the device that you are using:

    • For iOS: go to settings-> iTunes and App Store (or App Store), then disable everything under "automatic downloads.

    Looks like you may have a hardware problem with your CD/DVD drive. You are able to read all disks you put in (like music CD or other programs)? If this is not the case, go to Device Manager and check the status of the device.

    To do this, click the Start button, right-click on computer, click Properties, and then click Device Manager in the left column.

    In the Device Manager screen, double-click on CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drives, and then double-click the device listed under the DVD/CDROM drives. In the device status window, I must say that the device is functioning properly. If this isn't the case, you will have to solve the reader to find the problem. It may be a loose cable or a faulty drive.
