  You want to organize your icons in folders, or put a shortcut of data on your home page folder?

  The first is easy, this last not so much.

  Just hold your finger on an icon, and then drag it on another similar icon.  A "folder" will be done with the name "unnamed file".  Press and hold the words to change the name of the folder.

  I'm not aware of a way to file a record of data on the homepage...

• writing to micro sd

  I have a 32g micro sd on my tab 7. Slate recoconizes it.  If I copy the files to it from my laptop, it access it fine.  I can see both the internal and external storage without problem.

  I can't get my photos from my camera to automatically record on the micro sd card and my internal storage fills up.  All my other android devices allow me to choose to record in the internal storage or on the micro sd card. I can't find any way to do it on the 7 slate.  All records in the internal memory.

  How do I actually use the "expanded" Storage automatically?  I really want to have to manually move the files from internal to external storage.

  I think it may depend on the app.

  In order to answer your question, I started to play with my camera HP Slate 7 and could not find a way to specify the default path with the built-in camera and Gallery apps. HOWEVER, if you are willing to spend the price of a coffee of fantasy on an app, I just bought Camera Zoom FX (to check that it worked) and he does.

  Not only can you specify where you want your stored photos, you simply touch the screen - anywhere on the screen (not just the small blue button) and take the picture. It also has image stabilization and a ton of other features that I have not yet begun to deepen.  Obviously, it is not an official endorsement, but I'm pretty happy with the app, personally.

  Hi, I recently broke the digitizer on my Slate 7 voice tab and want to replace it. I just want to know how much would it cost to repair the screen/digitizer. I am from Kolkata 700094. So it would be even better, if you could suggest anything close to HP authorized service center. Thank you.

  Another choice would be to search for the part you are looking for if you feel confident, you can repair it yourself. In this case, you could try Partsurfer. Just make sure that you select the correct country/region for your location and the search for the reference product or a product number of your device. It should show if the game is stopped-able.

• Slate HP 6 voice tab: Slate from HP 6 voice tab problem

  I have HP slate 6 voices TAB 6002en and I try to install update.zip ADB and after that I send the file (update.zip) to the device, it check the file and restart with for 3 sec and then hp logo android logo device with point 3 of them white for 20 seconds and then restart and fail.

  Unfortunately, HP does not provide a way to upgrade to Android version 6.x.

  If you want to take the risk of permanently damage the unit, try searching for 'slate voice tab upgrade Marshmallow' Google... This creates a lot of success.  (Make your own choices.  HP does not recommend this).

  I bought a HP Slate 6 tab in October. I use it regularly since then. The end I notice one thing, especially when the battery is very low (when it shows red). When I connect a charger to charge it shows no "load" at all! Then I put out of service and it is connected to the charger, it shows in the State that it is charging.then with the charger connected, I pass on the tab and it continues to show that he is in charge (I'm afraid that there is a fault) if someone in the forum can shed some light?

  Hello

  I had an Android update information on my HP Slate 7 voice tab to update the version of KitKat candy. Once I followed the instructions on the tab got hangd and displays the icon of Android.

  I tried the instructions online to restart, but to no avail as by pressing the two buttons at the same time: volume upwards and downwards with the power off buttons and release them as soon as the hp icon rises.

  It did not work.

  Any help with this problem?

  I would like to know how to delight unnecessary phone contacts on the sim 1 of my hp slate 6 voice tab

  Hey kasreedharen,

  No worries we will figure this out together.

  When you click the icon of three point you who use to view the contacts on the sim card. You will not be able to delete them from there.

  Once you decide to view the SIM1 contacts if you hold the contact card, you should be able to modify it or delete it. If the deletion is not in this menu, it should be found in the Edit menu once you have selected it.

  I hope it works better. Let me know if it works for you.

• Internal HP slate 7 voice - storage problem tab

  As we know user available device memory may be less than memory declared because of the default pre-installed applications and OS device, I got 12.41 GB for use out of 16 GB. But when I checked, I found the following:

  

  It clearly shows the Total space is 12.41 GB and I use 4.73 GB (apprx)... so how fix it availabe is 4.63 GB!

  It takes 7.68 GB(apprx). Then I have a 3.05 GB memory ghost.

  I understand that your 7 slate voice Tab does not correctly reflect the available storage space.

  Please, try the following.

  Hard reset: When the Tablet is activated, press and hold the power button for 8 + seconds force to stop. Turn on the Tablet and see if that helps.
  
  Factory reset: Make sure that you back up important files or information, first of all. Settings > Backup & reset > reset data.

  If none of these allow to reflect correctly the internal memory could them be corrupted storage space. Please contact our technical support at the 800-474-6836.
