  Both Tecra models have the same part number - PT640E then I'm 100% sure that both models have the same display. It is 15.6 FHD 300 SFCL LD-DISH EDP (TFT Color LCD IPS) Full HD.
  I can imagine that the description on the Toshiba and some independent Web page is not the same.

  Tecra W50-A-116 with PT640E-06603KIT part number is available in Italy.

  I want to ask question on Tecra W50-A-114. My boss bought this because in the specifications tecra was there Intel Wireless Display.
  But now, he wants to use it, connect to the projector, but missing buttons or the applications for it.
  OS is Win 8.1

  I tried to install the software driver Intel WiDi toshiba support pages for its Tecra w50, but installation finished with error that there is no graphics taken in charge?

  Ghaphics is Nvidia Quadro K2100.

• Tecra W50 - A Replicator III, Audio USB problem

  Hello

  I use a port replicator (Toshiba HI SPEED PORT REPLICATOR III PA5117E-1PRP) with a Toshiba Tecra W50 - A with Windows 7 (64-bit).

  I need to use the audio input to speaker and microphone on the Replicator, but no sound is coming or in.

  When I anchor my port replicator (Toshiba HI SPEED PORT REPLICATOR III PA5117E-1PRP), then an unknown device appears in the Device Manager with then the Advanced USB Audio Driver name.

  I was unable to find a driver on the support pages.

  Can someone direct me to the appropriate download area please?

• Tecra W50 - cannot start when installing the second hard drive (caddy).

  I have a Tecra W50 PT640A 04103NN1.
  When a second hard drive is installed in the Bay of DVD player cell phone will try to boot from the drive bay, not the internal drive

  If I hit F12 at startup and select HARD drive, while the machine starts correctly. That is starts on the main hard drive.

• Tecra W50-A-118 - no Fn - F2 after ECO Utility 3.0.1.6403 update

  Recentrly that I've updated (via the Service Station) to ECO Utility 3.0.1.6403. After that, the opportunity to spend eating with Fn - F2 patterns has disapperead FlashCards completely. I'm more able to switch with Fn - F2 power management.

  I also downloaded the utility Setup 3.0.1 ECO directly from the Toshiba support pages and manually reinstalled once more, no change.

  How can I return Fn - F2?

• Tecra W50 - Has R/W - speed and performance

  Hi, received the new Tecra W50 - a and have to say I'm gutted with the speed and performance.

  8.1 we partitioned the drive 50-50 and the reading/writing is terrible. If I copy from C: to D: I lucky to get 10 Mbps

  Copy from or to external Sata I get more of 50mbps and around the same by ethernet.

  I got rid of the partition and tried to copy locally and get the same result.

  The Task Manager displays disk to 100% performance all the time and I can't do with my machine while copying going on.

  Copied 2gig file 1 and it happens in seconds. Try a folder with a few thousand of files and everything grinds to stop.

  Any ideas greatly appreciated

  There is an SSHD (SSD hybrid drive) a combination of SSD and HDD.
  SSHD performance depends on the cache controller (SSD).
  Why?
  The flash cache is used for the most used data... the special controller must decide what data will be loaded into the cache.
  But the SSHD needs some time to 'learn' data that uses the cache and the write speed at the beginning would be similar to the common HARD disk.
  After some time this performance will increase and the SSHD should reach the higher writing speed.

  Usually, the function FN + F7 and FN + F8 keys increases and decreases the brightness of the computers.
  But I put t think that theses function might be related to your question.

  I own a tecra W50 - A PT640E. After a clean install two 10 windows devices appear in device with no available driver manager.

  PCI serial port peripheral PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_8C3D & SUBSYS_00011179 & REV_04\3 & 115 83659 & 0 & B3 also requires installation.
  Controller \VEN_8086&DEV_8C3A&SUBSYS_00011179&REV_04\3&115836 59 PCI simple communication & 0 & B0 also requires installation.
  Are there drivers for these devices?

  Seems to have problems and the eco utility. Whenever I activate eco-mode windows 10 freezes after a while.

  I have an ACER Aspire 5735, running horrible Vista that never worked from the beginning, always locked up, media player never worked, on, on, and after about a year my dog took in the power cord and threw out of the table and the broken screen.   This program (RWEverything) locates the Win 8 OEM key embedded in the BIOS.

  First, download the appropriate version of its download page. If you have a 64-bit operating system use RwX64V.1.6.5.9. There is also a portable version available that allows you to run and forget about it.

  Extract the program in the compressed file, and then double-click the RW.exe executable file to start the program.

  Then, click on ACPI superior and toolbar icon MSDM table in ACPI table. And you will find your key BIOS embedded directly in the data row.

  Be extremely careful. This program can replace the BIOS data and ruin your PC.
  

  If you are not comfortable with this suggestion, you can try Microsoft but I think they will bounce back you to HP.

  I have the DW (OBAW) loaded at full load. Everything works fine.

  Now, I add a new column in a dimension in the DW (and in the ETL, RPD, CAD, etc.).

  I know that new (incremental) charges will take care of this column for the new/changed records... but

  Question is how can I update records, already loaded into PS for values in this column...?

  (a) I guess I can do this particular task of this dimension marked as 'full' DAC

  I'm not sure it's a good solution... I guess new ROW_WIDs will be generated and I have the connection with the fact table will be broken... Right?

  (b) I could blank the date of updating for this table W_ and/or refresher for this table S_ (from Siebel)

  I guess this could affect more than one task... or in other words all tasks dealing with this tables W_ and S_ - it also seems that the issue with the new ROW_WIDs will continue...

  Pls someone care to comment or offer a better solution?
