  Since the upgrade to the latest OS (iMac), I've been prone to random error when updating of my music. Essentially (1) the device is still connected and there is no apparent way to perform a good ejection process (2) and synchronization fails after many hours and don't care only about 100 songs.

  Thus, it seems that the iPod is ok mechanically. I have reset the device and formatted the HARD drive. This allowed then the synchronization process works correctly. Yesterday I downloaded the songs on the iTunes store and wanted on the iPod - same problems error has occurred.

  Would it not make sense to go back to an earlier version of the operating system? and iTunes? (same iTunes appears unstable now...)

  I see that this timing issue is quite common with this unit holders and it seems to be common, because support was arrested for this camera - I'd be cynical? Why isn't Apple in the face of what it comes to very bad reputation management - total contempt for Affairs of its user base?

  I always use what is apparently a good piece of hardware, but I'm extremely frustrated as a user. Any body found the corrective action? If so, what is it?

  LAST: I left Apple and bought a Sony HD camera. Why? as a result of these frustrations. I'm now evaluate whether to consider other Apple devices that are close to replacement (viz, Ipad, MacBook Pro (17 "), iMAc) with non-Apple devices. This is how frustrated and I'm in a bad mood.

  Problems with synchronization is often caused by a hard drive which becomes unreliable.  Hard drives are mechanical and ends by fail, computers and iPods.  I have much older iPods (4th gen, 3rd generation and iPod mini) that are more than 10 years at this point.  They still work perfectly fine with the latest version of OS X and iTunes.  I replaced the fragile hard drives in three of these iPods with Compact Flash card or an SD card on an adapter.  For the 5th generation and later iPods, you can look here for more information

  I see that this synchronization problem is quite common with this unit-holders...

  It's not just 'common good' considering there are millions of iPods (with storage on hard disk) still serving there.  However, if you see more cases of these days, the reason is obvious.  They age, on average.  The iPod classic model was released back in 2007.  Old things tend to start fault for various reasons, including defective hard drive.

• Does space empty between the video clips a synchronization problem in first?

  In the past, when I wanted a second or two of black space between video clips, I just leave the empty space, which fell to black on each side of the gap.

  Can only cause audio/video sync issues? Can I actually save some black frames and fill these gaps?

  I just loaded a video on Youtube, and it gives me an error message I could have synchronization problems.

  From my experience, empty spaces will not cause any problem whatsoever.  Done it for more than a decade in every version of Premiere Pro.

• Pinch and Zoom - synchronization problem

  Since v25, iPad Apps have a pinch and Zoom synchronization problem. If hitting swipe to a page, you cannot directly Pinch & zoom, using the two finger gestures. Firstly, it must wait 1 to 2 seconds (whats darn long) until you can zoom. Even if the PDF page is fully loaded (already sharp/readable).

  On some pages that do not have something different than the other pages, you must first zoom out, before zooming in works.

  Very strange problem. Someone at alse noticed the same thing?

  We have seen problems with pinch and zoom on v25. It is not so much a timing problem that the gesture is very sensitive to how far your fingers are when you start pinching. We turn to her with a fix in v26.

  The problem is that the table gets stretching correctly on the content tab, but not in the page opened with showPrintablePageBehaviour, the table border extends well but not the columns there is plenty of extra space after the last column...
  So, how can I do extended even in printablepage... ?

• Synchronization with Serial read/write problems. can not get the functionality of the terminal emulator

  I am writing a VI to control PWM with a microcontroller via a serial port. I wrote a simple code for the microcontroller that allows me to set the ratio of duty cycle on a scale of 0-65535. It works very well with Termite of Compuphase (RS-232 plug); The microcontroller invited me to an entry, expected that I would one, updates and expected another entry when I decided to send him. Now, I'm trying to get the same functionality on a LabVIEW vi but hit a snag.

  When I tried to send my orders with a series read base and an example of writing, everything worked fine. The problem with the basic example, however, is that I need to update the report to aura cyclical ratio, so I went for an example of reading continues writing. The problem I've met; is that I have to switch between reading and writing to make it work. When I do that, either I don't hold write it down long enough and nothing happens, or I get several updates when I switch to reading. Some of these updates don't even match and produce updates to defective upgrades for example; 16000 16000, 16000, 16000, 6000, 600, 60, 16000, 1600, 60, 0, 0, 0, 16000, 60, 0, 0 etc.

  I tried which allows characters of endpoint in the hope that the writing would end at the end and go to reading where he would receive a termination character and wait for me allow writing once again, but nothing helped. I still have to alternate between the two and either get no response on reading several updates of variable accuracy.   In other words, frankly, a good bad example you according to your code. Also, you have the order of writing and read upside down in your amendment if the instrument requires a command to return something. It should really be using a structure of the event. The structure of the event around a write and read and use a value change event. I have attached a quick change. This mod is still a reading after writing. If necessary, you may have two separate events to write and read.

  I'm working on a project to control an industrial player on CAN (CAN be opened to be precise).  I am trying to send and receive messages at regular intervals of 100 Hz.  To do this, I used at the same time while loops (after initialization of CDN); We write CAN messages by using the "ncWriteNetMulti.vi", writing of a table of four messages, the other loop checks and reads the messages using the 'ncGetAttributes' and 'ncReadNetMulti.vi '.  The program also includes a Structure of the event in a separate loop, in order to manage interactions with the user interface.

  My problem is that the timing of the message send loop seems to be a bit spotty, I put the operation of the loop using a "wait until the next ms Multiple.vi" to 10 ms.  However when I analyze the messages that are sent on the bus CAN it seems to be a certain interval between messages; Variant of 7-13th month mainly, however there a bit with separation of 18 to 25 DC between messages. These large differences between messages usually cause communications in the car to fail.

  1. The laptop I am using has an encrypted hard drive.  This of course slows down reading / writing to the HARD disk, but I expect the program to be loaded in memory when running and thus not be performed there during the execution. Fair supported?  (I'm also trying to 'acquire' a computer unencrypted to rule out / in this theory).
  2. The specifications of the laptop is too low for what is asked offshore.  I killed all unnecessary programs that are running to try to accelerate, but not had much success.  The CPU is usually<10% capacity="" (according="" to="" the="" task="" manager="" window)="" so="" doubt="" its="" not="" up="" to="" the="" job. (with="" the="" unencrypted="" laptop="" i'll="" also="" get="" a="" clean="" install="" of="" xp="" so="" should="" remove="" any="">
  3. My assumption that LabVIEW can run +/-1ms is Wrong.  Again, this is supported by OR above... So I think little likely.
  4. My programming technique is poor leading to the execution of the loop by taking more than 10 ms.  I didn't think my programming was THAT bad, however all comments to improve my coding techniques are more than welcome.
  5. Also built a version the program exe to see if this improves performance.  It does not seem to do anything noticeable.

  I think the problem is that you have need of determinism and not necessarily accurate.  The Windows timer component will be happily relax a tick count that is accurate to within 1ms, but it is not apply calendar deterministic loop.

  If you really need of determinism, I think you have to go with RT if you must stay with XP, you might consider using a timed loop structure and use some sort of an error handler for once the loop completed later.

  Another option would be to set up periodic messages that use the hardware timing instead of timing SW.  I know you can do this with NOR-XNET but am not in favour of NI-CAN.

• BlackBerry Smartphones to BB Bold 9780 Outlook Contacts synchronization problem

  A few weeks ago, when I started to sync my Outlook Contacts to my BB, a message window pops up letting me know that RIM is no more using the same method to do.  Since then, I was unable to carry out a synchronization.

  Hi - I'm the one who reported the problem at first.  I found the CD Moose comes with the phone and installed the old version 6.0 of the BB Desktop software.  My Outlook Contacts now synchronize very well, as they did before.  This seems to have solved the problem.  Maybe the other person with the same problem can do the same thing.  The other thread has a link to older versions of the software, but I hesitated to use because he said it was for Verizon and I have T-Mobile, but if I could not find my old CD, I would have given a trial.  I mention this just in case you do not have the CD.  Many thanks to those who helped and good luck to others with this issue.

  My goal: to sync my new Blackberry Bold 9700 wireless via bluetooth using the built-in radio. Many people have had problems with this and the forums are littered with solutions that have worked for others, but I'm having no luck.

  So-called: Device Manager software Blackberry won't recognize devices that are managed by Windows Native Bluetooth stack.

  What I did:

  Windows will automatically detect my bluetooth radio and installs the "Bluetooth USB Controller (ALPS/UGPZ6)" (hardware ID: USB\VID_044E & PID_300D & REV_1915, USB\VID_044E & PID_300D) driver. With this driver, I can go to the "add a device" with my phone in discovery mode, and the computer will not conclude it.

  If I go in ' control panel-> add devices ", the Add Device Wizard window will tell me it's looking two detectable Bluetooth devices found in the range. I went into control panel of-> see devices-> UGX (which resembles a bluetooth adapter bit) and there was no "bluetooth settings option when I would right click."

  After reading on the Blackberry forums that the BB only synchronizes with the Bluetooth of Windows stack, I updated my driver ALPS/UGPZ6 to "generic bluetooth adapter. The selection of this driver also installs driver for "Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator. It also adds the bluetooth icon in the lower bar of good start near the time and date. I can now go to 'Add a device' and it will show my BB 9700. When I connect, matching Assistant is displayed on my phone and in windows. I enter a code on my blackberry and enter a code in the wizard windows. Both devices and then tell me that pairing has been successful. However, the two machines are.

  Once the BB is paired, tent windows install the drivers of the two newly discovered devices, then gives me an error and States that the drivers cannot be installed. It is said that it is impossible to install two drives, both devices are listed in the device as "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" Manager (Hardware ID BTHENUM\ {426c6163-6b42-6572-7279-44736b746f70} _LOCALMFG & 000D).

  In "devices and printers > Bluetooth' BB 9700 is now listed with a status of 'troubleshooting needs'." Although the devices are paired, the BB will ever show a status of connected, rather it will continue to just try to connect every two minutes or more. I can connect to my friends MacBook, but I have no idea how to test the fact that the connection works. I also noticed that in the screen 'Add features' phone bluetooth of my roommate. So, I looked for ways to resolve the missing drivers.

  I found three solutions supposed for the driver installation error which has not WORKED for me.

  (1) the first is to right click on the two strangers 'Bluetooth' devices in Device Manager and updated the driver in both cases to "RIM Virtual Serial V2". When you try to implement this solution, the status "needs Troubleshooting" will disappear, but blackberry Device Manager will not find the BB 9700 to add for bluetooth sync. Nothing else seems to change.   The other way, I tried to fix the driver error problem was to remove all the listed drivers and reinstall the generic Bluetooth USB controller and the enumerator. Then I went and downloaded the Windows Mobile Device Center Driver Upgrade. For the two unknown devices labeled "Bluetooth Peripheral Device", I chose the Bluetooth radio driver > Microsoft Corporation > peripheral support Windows Mobile.  Once again, the status in devices and printers troubleshooting message > Bluetooth devices disappear, but still the Blackberry device manager can't find the phone.   (3) supposed to be the reason why the blackberry will not sync with the ALPS driver installation is because the windows bluetooth stack does recognize it not as compatible. So I uninstall the Bluetooth devices and blackberry. I restarted and the computer reinstalls the driver ALPS.

  I found a solution which says to edit the c:\windows\inf\bth.inf file and add the hardware ID that is listed in the device under the ALPS HardwareID driver manager. I have add the ID of the hardware to the list of devices, but the bluetooth enumerator installs ever, and I can't access the Bluetooth settings.

  Does anyone else have this problem? Can anyone help!

  
  

  Hi Cptnnemo,

  How do you close the computer, you have your Blackberry?  As with any Bluetooth, the device must be 3-4 FEET away from being discovered.  Please follow the instructions on the MSFT made, then try to keep your 3-4 feet away and try the discovery mode.

• SYNCHRONIZATION PROBLEM TRYING TO RECORD AUDIO AND VIDEO WITH THE LIFECAM VX-3000

  I use Windows 7 and have 2 GB of RAM, but when I record on my hard drive with the LIFECAM VX-3000 reading is slightly, but apparently out of sync.  Does anyone know why?

  Although that do not know what could be the cause, here are a few things you can try.

  1 see if turning off the background tension or lowlights helps solve the problem of synchronization. See the webcam of the help manual.

  2. lower the screen resolution. Reference: change your screen resolution

  3. install the latest version of the software of the webcam.

• Synchronization problems can be caused by the structure of local sites?

  I have sync issues (e.g. synchronization done, sync identifies even more recent files).  I read a lot on the dwsync files and the site configuration to maintain the synchronization of information.

  I followed the advice to remove the dwsync files, turn off maintain sync, restart, turn on keep synchronization.  New dwsync files are not created.

  I read a post from a certain number of years that mention the site structure (I guess they wanted to tell local structure).

  I get a warning, sometimes because a site is located in the root of another site, sync may not work properly. I guess that his reference to my local site structure.

  

  I think the problem is that the 2-8 Sites are folders within the Site 1.  I put the local structure in this way because that's how I structured it on the remote host, where I have an account that allows multiple hosting sites.

  1 site simply contains files not in Sites 2-8, which includes some areas test, documentation, newspapers, etc., as well as a site with a domain name.  My thought is to get 1 Site moved to a folder at the same level as the other sites.

  Does anyone know of a tutorial on setting up of the structures of remote and local directories for several sites in the same remote ftp?

  Just use separate site definitions and ensure that the root directory of the server with precision pointing to the folder of this site.
